I have never been so disappointed in a business that I have professionally recommended within my industry for a decade. I was charged significantly more than agreed, and even asked to deliver and install myself once a corporate manager had left, as this was normally not allowed, but they had fired their delivery personnel. When asked to have a manager contact me I got nothing. Oddly, they have called twice to sell me on current offers. Never a manager available to speak with at those times either. My husband had to obtain a dolly, pick up, and deliver/install everything, including parts that we had to go purchase from Home Depot. If you are in the apartment industry like I have been for over 15 years, I would suggest removing their flyers ASAP. Once they get their staff revamped I will reconsider, but this was unacceptable.

O M G this place is such a joke. They are clueless about customer service and after 5 months I said forget about it and bought furniture from somewhere else. When I called to schedule a pickup of their stuff they were sooooooooooooooooo rude and horrible and kept changing the pickup time even tho my new furniture was being delivered as well etc. RUN dont pass go dont stop dont call just run and get your furniture from someplace else. They have no respect for customers, treat us like we are not important and can care less.

What a bunch of slackers — After calling and calling I found out that it had been sitting there waiting to be delivered for weeks.

Back in January, we bought a used(from a neighbor) 60″ Big Screen television, and absolutely loved it — until things began to go horribly wrong with the image(considered an important part of a television). Within just 5 months, we were paying $ 160 for a repairman to come out, tell us it would be about $ 800 to fix the machine, and that in his estimation, we should probably just go buy one new. I, on the other hand, was nervous about plunking down that much cash for something I would instantly own(especially after the previous experience), and which might instantly break(or just not be what I want). I have not had good experiences with factory warranties, or warranties bought from stores. My husband and I had driven by Aaron’s before the government Gods invented the toll road, and after calling and finding out they had brand new HD tvs, we went over and took a look. I’ll admit, a large screen is like a bad addiction. Aaron’s gave us the ability to try the TV out without a massive financial commitment — we talked to them extensively about why we were choosing to rent instead of buy outright, and asked questions about whether we could exchange the television for something we liked if we hated it, etc. They were extremely flexible with everything, and if we paid the television off within 90 days, the price was«same as cash», and comparable to purchasing it at somewhere like Frye’s. If we hated it, we could give it back and get a different television, or just call it a day after paying 6 months lease fees — 1⁄3rd of the price of the TV. Everyone at this Aaron’s location was extremely helpful — there was no display of the new television we were interested in, and they set one up just so we could see it before committing to it. The paperwork took relatively little time, the delivery was when they said it would be, and they set up the whole kit and kaboodle fast, professionally, and making sure I knew how to work it. The caveat — if you are here because you want something expensive and you don’t have the cash to pay for it, nor the credit to finance it, and you take the full plan time to «lease to own», you’re going to pay through the nose. There are some perks that you get with that, since it’s their tv and if it breaks, they’ll fix it or replace it with something comparable, and if they have to fix it you get something to use in the meantime. The other caveat is that the wear and tear on some of the items that have been rented before is not really reflected well in the lease to own prices, and some of the wear and tear was pretty extensive. New items right out of the box can be had, and I recommend those if you can get them and they have what you want. The staff is extremely professional, and treat people very well — frankly, they had no idea what our motivations were for coming in to the store at the outset and it could have just as easily been desperation with a credit/cash crunch. They don’t make you feel like you’re on the last desperate stop, begging for an appliance, couch, or electronic device, and they go out of their way to be friendly. For the most part, I recommend them if you want to try before you buy, have a need to lease something without wanting to own it, want to try something for 85 days before deciding you want to buy it — or you’re desperate for a new whatever, and are charged to the hilt but can swing the first and subsequent payments.
