I called the CP police recently because I was being threatened and I needed an escort off my property. I asked for an ESCORT. 2 cops showed up. INSTEAD, what I got was some cop giving me unsolicited life advice and shaming me for things that occurred, even though I was the victim. I didn’t ask for some hack who knows literally nothing about my life to come give me a freaking scolding, I asked for an escort. It’s fine to get both sides of the story but keep your unwanted opinions to yourself, that’s not what your paid for. I didn’t ask what the situation called for, what should be done, or why/​how I was in the wrong… I LITERALLY ONLY ASKED FOR SOMEONE TO MAKE SURE I GOT OFF MY PROPERTY SAFE, that’s IT.
Oh, not to mention, one of the police officers who was talking to me at one point said «I’m done trying to get through to you and explain this to you» when all I was doing was standing there and asking questions. He was annoyed he had to repeat himself to someone who was very jittery and in a high stress situation. UM, THATS YOUR DAMN JOB? Then the other cop at another point said, when I asked him if I should even bother calling next time a situation like this occurs, he said we can’t tell you what to do, you have to make that decision on your own… Like you couldn’t say something some reassuring? Do you somehow get in trouble by telling victims they can call you of they need help?
In the end, they only made it worse. They were mostly useless. Complete jokes.
