Gap

For a regular Gap store, this location always seems to have a lot of empty shelves and racks, specifically within the Men’s section. The variety of men’s clothing also seems rather minimal. I’m not sure if the store is closing, moving locations, or if the store just isn’t receiving enough inventory to stock but the overall mood seems as though the store is shifting to an online catalog only or like they’re trying to be more like an Outlet location — which is silly because the Gap at Round Rock Outlets currently has way more inventory than this location. It’s unfortunate that this location gives off this impression since it is nearby but I’m more tempted to shop online or drive an extra 30-​minutes to Barton Creek Square if I want to shop at a regular Gap store than to shop at this location again. Hopefully they fix this!

Dear District, Area, or Store Manager of the Gap family,
I was wondering if you realize that it’s that time of the year that people start shopping for Christmas presents already! Because there are a great amount of shoppers at the Mall now (and that includes your store), it’d be nice if you increased the number of your employees here. While you’re at it, please also tell your employees to smile every now and then. I don’t even care if it’s a fake one.

Ok… anyone that knows me and my husband know that we LOVE anything from the GAP! This store is awesome, I have been to all of the locations in the Austin area and this place by far has the best customer service.
Recently we went shopping for my now 10 mth old son. We, as usual found a ton of items that we loved but finally made a decision on a few outfits! As I was browsing the store I found a cute little black sweater for for my son, but they did not have my his size. The girl that was working I think her name was (Liz?) I could be wrong. Anyway she called around and found where the nearest shop was that had the sweater we were looking for. I went to check out with my 25% coupon and asked if it was possible for me to use it again at the other location since I did not get all that I wanted. She called the store (in Arboretum) and spoke with the store manager, they both approved that I use the same coupon again (only at that location). I was satisfied, I would have been ticked had I not been able to use it (it was a one time use coupon). This is the type of thing that all franchises’ should do for their customers, it really keeps them coming back!
I will continue to shop here and I urge you to go too. They have by far the cutest items for boys, them and Old Navy, of course! Oh and just a note, they put out new items about every other week so their kids clothes go on sale quick!!!
