This will be short and sweet… just like the cupcakes. Pros: moist, flavorful, light and fluffy cake, amazing seasonal flavors, great price, open 7 days a week, great customer service, rewards program. Cons: way too much icing — I’m not interested in diabetes. They could save money on icing alone. Thanks for Cupcake Friday’s what’s a regular in my house.

I’m a huge Gigi’s fan, yet about 2⁄3 of the times I’ve come through to this location, they are out of stock of one or more of the cupcakes I’m trying to buy. Their case will be fairly empty too, so it’s not just one flavor. Just seems like they really don’t bake very much. This has happened so much that I just plan to go to Georgetown instead.

The cupcakes are so delicious and they always have new flavors. My favorite is the red velvet or the birthday cake. They always have gluten free items and creative options. They also have a good rewards club.

Tried Gigi’s for the first time today. It’s been on my list of places I’d like to try for a while. I looked up «coffee» on Google Maps and Gigi’s showed up, so I figured I’d much rather go here then wait in the Starbucks line. So I was a bit disappointed when I asked the woman at the counter and found out they offer no coffee drinks at all. That said, I of course ordered a cupcake anyway! I went with the Strawberry Cream and it was delicious! I tend to like strawberry cupcakes the most anyway, and I was convinced when I saw how popular it was — there were only two left. I loved that it wasn’t too too sweet which is sometimes the case at other cupcake places. That particular flavor also happens to be gluten-free for those with dietary restrictions. If I had gone with a different flavor, there was also a Kentucky Bourbon Pie one that looked amazing. I may have to try that one next time. Lots of choices here! And the cupcakes are beautiful! I also signed up for the loyalty program and look forward to my free birthday cupcake when the time comes. :)

I’ve tried Gigi’s cupcakes again recently and I am in love! I don’t know if the recipes has changed since I first tried them years ago, but they are absolutely delicious! My favorites are the wedding cake, red velvet, chocolate chip cookie dough, and midnight magic. I have also tried various cheesecake cupcakes they have and they too are very delicious.

I see I’m not the only one that’s experienced going up there and they’re closed when the sign states they’d be open. It’s happened twice in the last few weeks, last time it wasn’t even 7:30 yet and the place was a ghost town. I made an attempt to contact them via their website and thought I’d get an apology and a «thanks for letting us know» or something. Instead, I received an email trying to explain it away because of the industry and that I should order ahead online. Even go so far as to say that I should get there early in the day to get the best selection. I have a job, I can’t plan my day around buying a friggin cupcake because you don’t know how to run your business. I’m sorry, you’re in business to sell a product and you are the one responsible for figuring out how to sell it the same every time your doors are open. Have you ever in your life been to a restaurant and they simply shut down early because they sold out? I’ve been to a few BBQ joints like that, but there’s a huge line from the time they open until sold out. Plus they put a sign up to let everyone know they’re sold out. Besides that, I don’t see any other business that doesn’t know how to run an operation like this. It’s sad really, because the cupcakes are so good.

Just drove across town to pick up cupcakes for a special event. I checked the website twice to ensure I knew what time they closed(8PM). Arrived at 7:40PM, lights where off and an employee was mopping and signaled they were closed. I double checked the sign on the door and they do indeed claim to close at 8PM. Took a picture of the sign and came back to the car to write this review. While sitting here, more lights have been turned off, and the employee is mopping in the dark.

Loved all the frosting, cake was dry and lacked flavor. Didn’t hit the«gourmet factor» grocery store much better and cost less

I would appreciate it when restaurants/bakeries post GF that they would check into what is considered GF. When you post a sign on your door GF it means that you abide by the FDA definition of GF. GF is a health fad for some people. But for people with celiac sprue it it is a medical condition. I means not vomiting or having diarrhea until your inside are coming out or having a head ache so bad that you can not get out of bed for days to name a few of the symptoms. People that have Celiac Sprue look for the GF sign on food so they know their food is safe to eat. GF food is made in a separate area, the bakers wear gloves, use separate utensils and the food is housed in a separate compartment so their is no cross contamination. Once the food comes in contact with wheat the food is no longer GF. Please take the sign off you door claiming GF. Once again, people that have Celiac Sprue look for the GF sign on food so they know their food is safe to eat. Please use the words wheat free or made with rice flour instead.

For such a small shop, I was served quickly and I thought accurately. When I surprised my «birthday guest» with cupcakes from Gigi’s, I found my order was incomplete. Tho she was still delighted with my other selections, I was disappointed that her fave wasn’t in the box. I had specified«vanilla» several times to be her favorite to the girl behind the counter. However the CARAMELTRUFFLECHEESECAKE” WASDELICIOUS!

This is a difficult review for me to write, because I feel like I might not be able to give this place a fair review. FYI: I don’t particularly like sweets or desserts. I eat dessert maybe once a month, if that. 2 weeks ago, we were throwing a «Going Away» party for a co-worker of mine at work. Due to the overtime and large workload we all had, we decided to buy something to celebrate, rather than trying to hold a potluck or forcing people to bake. We knew my co-worker liked chocolate cake, so we decided to go the cupcake route(and giftcards and a card, etc.) I Unilocal’d cupcake places in the area that were open on Sundays(so that I could pick them up and take them to work on Monday), and Gigi’s had decent reviews and many flavor options. I went in, and ordered 18 cupcakes.(6 triple chocolate, 3 strawberry, 3 chocolate chocolate chip, 3 Butterfinger, and 3 wedding cake.) The 18 cupcakes came to nearly $ 60.(Ouch, but my friend is worth it, so whatever.) I noticed right off the bat that the cupcakes had more icing than«cake», so I already knew that I probably wasn’t going to be in love with them. Anyway, the cupcakes were packaged up very nicely, and the service was very quick and sweet. The next day, when we finally met in a conference room to have our little«going away» party for my friend, the cupcakes held up really well due to the packaging. They *are* very pretty, despite all the icing. I had a strawberry cupcake, since I’m not much of a fan of chocolate. The strawberry cake part was ok(a little light on flavor), but there was way too much icing, and I scraped off almost all of it. I noticed that most of my co-workers did the same thing. Gigi’s could save some money by only using half as much icing. All in all, I think everyone enjoyed their cupcakes, despite the excess icing. Everyone commented on how good they looked. While I would never seek this place out for a dessert for myself(but like I said, that’s a bit unfair, since I don’t like dessert much to begin with), I would recommend them for anyone needing a good cupcake selection and a «wow» factor when it comes to presentation. As of the date of my purchase, the cupcakes were $ 3.25 a piece.

I have tried Gigi’s a few times and have come to the conclusion that either they have the most inconsistent bakers in the world or they hold cupcakes over for more than a day on a regular basis. I actually wrote a review on their FB page many months ago and expected a response of some sort, but I suppose they aren’t too worried about changing the minds of the disappointed customers. They must be doing well enough not to care. Sad. Every customer matters, and I will make sure to be completely honest when anyone asks me about their business.

Tried to take my little boy for a treat, they closed their doors early and she saw us outside. Not cool.

It’s ok. Not sure as to why all the hype. Cupcakes were good and not overly sweet. However, the ones I had were a little on the dry side.

I couldn’t be more upset with Gigi’s. I have been a member of their rewards program for years. On my birthday, I got the usual birthday cupcake email. I finally went to redeem and they had no record of it. I emailed their rewards company, synergy rewards, and they let me know that it could only be redeemed once. I explained that I didn’t redeem it and they reviewed and said I did, in fact, have one available and it’s valid until 8÷1÷15. Fast forward a week later. I stop to pick up the cupcake and some others. They have no record at all of my rewards account. I’m completely gone, deleted. I walked out empty handed and disgusted. And I’ll never buy another cupcake from Gigi’s.

I stopped in here on a whim when I was shopping in the Cedar Park area and saw a sign for cupcakes. I was going to a small get together that night and didn’t want to show up empty handed. I got the assorted dozen mini cupcakes(chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) and they were great! It cost $ 18. They were perfectly sized, beautifully decorated, and tasted fresh. The icing was pretty great too! I would definitely go back if I were in need of some desserts!

Everytime I go in here the girls working are so sweet! They always help me with suggestions! I usually go here when I want to gift cupcakes, I never really just crave one. This place is great for someone’s birthday, the office, or to cheer someone up! The cupcakes are beautiful and delicious!

Cute shop, friendly employees, and a good variety of yummy cupcakes. Each cupcake is visually appealing and decorated to match the theme of the cupcake(eg: the Pink Lemonade cupcake has a straw in it). All that is great, but hands down what makes this one of my fav sweet treats is it has my favorite 2:1 icing: cake ratio going on. Carry on Gigi’s, carry on!

I am a bit of a cupcake snob. The cake part is actually my favorite as I was never big on icing. Cream cheese icing being the exception. I will eat that off a flip flop because wasting it is a sin. Needless to say, I can tell when places make low quality cake and try to cover it with mounds of crap icing. No Bueno. Gigi’s does not! Their cupcakes are awesome. The two I had were the pink princess(Vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and cream cheese icing), and wedding cake with a buttercream icing. I went in expecting not to like the icing on that one and was impressed! Granted, I scraped most of it off but the flavor was nice and went perfectly with the lovely vanilla cake. Both get a thumbs up in my book. I also have to hand it to places with reward programs. I signed up for free and got 25 points automatically once I got home and registered online. You also get a point in store for each dollar you spend, and $ 5 off when you reach 50 points. A box of 4 cupcakes was $ 13 so it wouldn’t take you long to get to 50 going with any regularity. At least they try to give you something back. Places like Sprinkles should take note.
