Just had the worst ever Cod Fish Sandwich. The fish was just barely cooked, soggy and tasteless. The buns were overly saturated with a pretty nasty tarter sauce. I had to remove the fish from the wet buns. The lettuce was completely welted, and useless. Never again!

Like most, I like a good burger, and my burger was good but man did they put on way to much sauce. It was so messy with that slapped together get out of my face type of feel to it. Look over all the food was good. The place looks clean the people were nice. Just clean up that sauce and hasty burger making.

Not real impressed with the western burger that has paper thin bacon. I guess you do get what you pay for.

I wasn’t sure what to order so I looked at their online menu and decided I would get their nachos. We get to the drive thru and I asked for the nachos and they say they no longer carry nachos. So I ordered my 2nd choice that I saw online: taco salad. They don’t have that either. If you’re not going to offer a menu item, don’t put include it in your on-line menu!!! I sent in a complaint and they responded saying they were sorry and they had asked that this particular location’s management contact me and follow up. The management at this location never contacted me. Very disappointed. I gave them 2 stars because their teriyaki chicken sandwich was decent, even though they put tomatoes on it when I asked for no tomatoes.

What is it about Williamson County, that no «fast food» places ever serve anything fast? We were in line at the drive thru for over 20 minutes with only 3 cars in front of us. When we finally got to the window, the child working was obnoxiously rude and practically threw the food at my wife. Are there no adults, or does management not care? Y’all need to learn a lot about running a business. There’s no excuse, even at a fast food craphole.

I grew up on Carl’s Jr(I am from Orange County, California) and it was my first job. I love it and it was one of the things I really missed when I left three years ago for Texas. I was so excited to learn that they had built one relatively close to where I lived. We have gone back many times since they opened and have never had bad service or had our order wrong(and believe me, there was a lot of room for error with the way my husband orders!). Everything tastes just like I remember it, so great job guys!

This is our«go to» place for fast food burgers but we about had a panic attack when we got there and WTH??? Where are the sweet potato fries??? It was the BEST thing on the menu and the main reason we choose Carls! Oh please please bring them back!

So after eating here I was extremely sick. I have never eaten here before but I have eaten fast food. Not sure why I got so sick. It seemed like my body couldn’t digest their food. It tasted great going down, but not very good when it came up. I got so sick that I’ll never even use the bathroom here again. Carl’s Junior is the worst thing I have ever eaten. Never Again. Ever!

Pretty good, great variety. Burger and fries are good, just prefer Mighty Fine, In N Out, or Freddy’s. Their Oreo ice cream sandwich cookies are da bomb, though! Better even than Freddy’s Oreo ice cream sammies…

Well? I mean. Its about as fast as fast food comes, ya know? Took for freaking ever. They got the order wrong. But it was edible… and we were POOPED. So I guess it worked. Haven’t eaten there in like… I don’t know…8 years. Don’t plan on going back anytime soon. :-)

Im a little disappointed with this place. staff is usually pretty nice and the food is cheaper than mighty fine which is great but, however it’s not polite to make bets on what a customer is going to order and then shout out that you won right in front of them. I understand that most the kids working here are high schoolers but I was slightly offended by this game they were playing. I eat here almost everyday but I may not come back for a while.

Did a take out order to take to the hospital for some friends staying with a patient. Three burgers, two western burgers, a large thick burger with no mayo. Got to the room, open the bag, thick burger has mayo and short one burger.

It taste like Burger King to me but its a lot more expensive. The burgers(like BK) are decent, the fries aren’t so good. I like that they have coke zero as a drink option. $ 7 – 8 for a medium combo. The best part about it is the drive thru line is nothing like the chic fi la next door.

Thank you! It’s damn near impossible to find a burger joint with non-beef options. I love a six-dollar burger but the beef doesn’t like me. I’m tired of the only other option being a fried chicken sandwich or «grilled» chicken on a bun. Luckily, Carl’s Jr. Offers a turkey patty option. I get the goodness of a six-dollar burger(love the bread and butter pickles) with a turkey patty my mutinous tummy can handle. Thank you CJ, you’ve made my day.

We come here for weekday breakfast every so often. Good biscuits, good bacon, and I like that they put pico de gallo instead of crappy salsa on 2 of their breakfast burritos. The service is the best in the morning too. Wish they had bigger orange juices(they only have the tiny minute maid cartons) but I guess a soda’s just as good if you’re having a big greasy breakfast anyway. When I get a burger here, I usually get the teriyaki burger since its somewhat unique. I would recommend just about any other burger with bacon on it though.

So far I’ve been respecting suggestions for burgers, even when I’ve previously been to said burger establishment and have a pretty good idea as to the quality of the burger. Carl’s Jr has seriously made me second guess that rule. I’ve actually been to Carl’s Jr a few times in the past and had a pretty good idea of what I was going to get. What I was surprised by was how easily this burger surpassed Short Stop for the worst burger on my gauntlet. This burger was so bad it was near torturous to finish(yeah I know, first world problems). What made the situation worse was that the good folks at CJ slopped about 3 times too much in the way of mayo and ketchup on my burger making it not only gross, but messy as hell. With all that said, their fries were not good, but they by far were not the worst. They reminded me a lot of the fries from Burger King in texture and taste. Unfortunately for them I hate Burger King fries. Congratulations Carl’s Jr. On day 20 you officially have the worst burger. Read more reviews at

Growing up in OC, the Carl’s Jr. near our home was the spot to go to before and after football games, on the way home after work, just cause we were driving by or whatev… Since it started opening locations around the Austin area, I have tried to go to both south and way south locations, and every so often hit up the location on 1481(university blvd). So this day I was running errands with kids, and realized that I would be driving close to that one. I told the kids, Lunch at the Carl’s… with my daughter’s friend in tow, we looked forward to our lunch. What can I say… the flavor is the same, the service with a smile, the same… and the overall experience… totally worth it. I have to say that when this location sprouted up it was one of a few options for food in the area, but the last time I went, OMG Food choices galore… and I even saw a DELTACO across the street, I will be sure to go there as well… anyway, if you havent been, then go, they have great burgers and such…

For fast food burgers. this place is IT! I’m yet to find one of those«damn good burger joints»(& pls share w me) so when I stumbled on this place one day, I figd I’d give em a shot. They weren’t el cheapo, and I was bummed that they didn’t have a bleu cheese burger, so I settled for the one w heart healthy bacon & guac… OMG. I’m positive I ran off the road a little bit. Thankfully the wrap them completely in a little pocket, cuz my hand was a mess w it, so I’m sure I’d have worn it w/o. It was a big ass burger-and I got ½ way & thought, «I can’t eat anymore!» Sweet! I haven’t tried anything else-so my review isn’t the greatest. But I’m happy w the burger I get!

The food is easily 4 – 5 stars, especially considering it’s fast food. The«6 Dollar Western Cheeseburger» may well be the best fast food burger out there. The well done patty combined with bacon, BBQ sauce, cheese, and 2 fried onion rings is the stuff of fast food nirvana — and most likely continued employment for cardiologists as well. My mom wanted to tag along to try the low-carb burger, which replaces the bun with a lettuce wrap. She loved it. Also, I’ve got to commend them for being one of the few fast food joints that serves lemon with their tea(although the lemons are smaller than slivers). Now for the negatives. When we showed up last night, the restaurant was only staffed by two teenaged guys, which kept making me think of Beavis and Butthead. Alas, their devotion to keeping the restaurant clean was about the same as the duo from MTV. We had to work to find a clean table. In fact, when we saw either Beavis or Butthead cleaning a table, they never did wipe the seats down. In short, the food is great(albeit a slight hike up the toll road from my Northwest Hills environs), but the cleanliness keeps this from being a close-to-perfect fast food joint. My recommendation is that you suspend your sense of fastidiousness while getting a burger there, at least until Carl’s Jr. decides to have some adult supervision around anytime the restaurant is open.
