We have been looking for a good cheesesteak sub in Austin/cedar park. A friend recommended Jersey Mike’s, a I noticed one around the corner from our house. We were not disappointed! My wife has the big kajuna(steak) with banana peppers instead of jalepenos, I had the big kajuna(chicken) extra meat. The bread was fresh and nicely toasted on the grill, the meat cooked perfectly, more cheese than anywhere else we have found. we joined their rewards program and have already accrued a few points towards freebies!

First time to eat at Jersey Mike’s. First off, my Reuben Sub was hot and delicious. It was loaded with so much meat, saurkraut, and cheese the sub roll couldn’t hold it all. There was just the perfect amount of Thousand Island dressing. I was disappointed with a couple of things. There was only one customer in the place and I still had to wipe the crumbs off of the table. The tables that were dirty when I arrived hadn’t been wiped when I left. The floor also needed to be swept. The lemon wedges on the drink bar looked to be a couple of days past their prime. No one thanked me for business at any time during my visit. Maybe today was just an off day for them. Next time I am in the area, I’ll give PDQ or Fuzzy’s Tacos a visit.

As a life-long fan of the«Sub» and a sandwich lover in general, it’s hard for me to score 4 or more stars unless the sub shop is really really good. Jersey Mike’s is exactly that. I had never been to a Jersey Mike’s before last month, I was pretty much stuck with Thundercloud or Subway, which I have a «been there, done that» attitude towards them, Subway, you get your money’s worth, but everything is tasteless. Thundercloud, you get very little for your money, but they actually have flavor. Jersey Mike’s you get both, great prices, nice sandwich size, and A LOT of flavor. Fresh cold cuts, sliced right in front of you, fresh vegetables with a lot of flavor, and great sandwich combinations. My favorite is the number 7, Turkey sub, very flavorful turkey, better than anything you get at the store. I am also in love with the Pastrami Rueben. I am a huge Rueben fan, but at home I cook my Rueben’s with Pastrami, so I was right at home with this sandwich, hot and delicious, even after a 15 minute drive home. Both are between 6 – 8 bucks for regulars, but specialty sandwiches like the Rueben are a dollar or so more for regulars. Bread is really fresh and delicious, and I actually prefer the wheat over white, but not really sure that is really wheat bread, maybe wheat/white. I would have given 5 stars, but with a very limited selection of extra vegetables and no toasting, I had to come back to 4 stars, but I love ya Jersey Mike.

Julian on his cell phone, did not wash hands, did not say one word while cutting meat and cheese, no smile, just plain rude. The 2 stars goes to the bubbly friendly girl with the curly long brown hair! She; washed her hands, was so nice and was doing all the cleaning while again Julian went back to his cell phone! I wish i knew her name, I just remember her telling me she is 17, I will come back because of her only!

My co-worker brought me JM once and I loved it. I must have been hungry. I have been twice since(2 different locations), and just found the sandwich blah and bland. I definitely love Jimmy John’s much better. Their cheese is much more flavorful and the bread is amazing. I won’t be back to JM.

I’ve been to this location about five times now & every single time I am impressed with the service & quality of the food! The Manager always seems to be enjoying his job, along with all of his line cooks! All of them very helpful & knowledgeable of their product. Love this place. Cheers!

Originally I came here to grab a sandwich only for my husband. I’m trying to be good with the holidays around the corner and had already had a fruit juice as my own lunch, plus 100 free samples of various delights at Costco next door… But the smell of bread and sandwich meat wafted in the air once I walked in and my stomach let out an enormous growl. I asked them what the smallest size sandwich they make is and they pulled out a bun for their mini sub. It was the perfect size for me. I got turkey without provolone along with lettuce, tomato, onion, a very thin spread of mayo, and oregano. I love that the onions here are thinly sliced so you don’t have wicked breath afterwards. The flavors were great, much better than Subway. My husband had the regular sized Italian sub Mike’s Way which is with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices. I had them put his sub on cheddar rosemary bread and he loved it. The prices are steep. I paid just under $ 15 for both our sandwiches plus a 10% tip. The guy behind the counter was super friendly though and didn’t rush me as I took my time looking over their menu. I noticed they also have wraps and the option to make a salad with their sandwich fixings which they cleverly call ‘Sub in a Tub’. I don’t eat sandwiches often but would glady come back here again the next time I find myself wanting one.

I have always been a fan of a good sandwich; jersey mikes is an excellent example of that. Tons of options to choose from, lots of different meats. They have wraps, hot sandwiches and cold sandwiches. I had the club, wich was loaded with turkey bacon and ham, the house red wine vinegar and spices were so delicious. Over all, this place rocks. Perfect little sub shop.

Favorite place to eat! So happy when we got one in our area. We eat here at least once a week and now the people know us and what we want when we walk in. Haven’t stepped foot in a subway since discovering Jersey Mikes.

Far superior to any sub shop in the Austin Area. Blimpies subs is the closest but I like Jersey Mikes better. They have a rewards program as well to get free subs. Fresh bread and wonderful ingredients. Make sure to get it «Mike’s way!» w/the juice! I’m very glad they opened up in Cedar Park. I use to drive much farther to get to another Jersey Mike’s, bypassing 20 sub shops along the way. Well worth the extra trip. This place puts Jimmy johns to shame.

I’m not typically a sub kinda guy but this place has me hooked! They shave all the meat fresh to order! All veggies are fresh and the flavor is intense! Dont look what it is just trust me when I say get it «Mikes Way»! It will make your taste buds dance! The service is also amazing fir a sub shop! Employees are so attentive, friendly, and seem to really love their jobs! Look for the welcome! Great food all around!

I went to Jersey Mike’s for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I loved it! Mike’s way is the only way you should have them though! I have never been so excited about a sub! I’m from the north east and I love having a sub with the pepper relish, oil and vinegar and no one has been able to master that down here :)

Jersey Mike’s is one of the better places outside the Delaware Valley* that at least comes as close to South Jersey subs and steaks as you can get(Delaware subs being #1). I loved the fact that you can yell your order at the order-taker, and he’ll yell it back. That’s how sub shops work – some of the people in line with us didn’t quite get that, but I’ve never understood the notion of manners among Texans; what comes off is rude down here, is actually conversation in the NYC-Philly corridor. Tow cons: They’re light on the meat in their steaks – you’re in the beef capital of the country, don’t skimp! –need more regional snacks(WISE, Herr’s, Tastykake!) The dining room is a good size, but the parking is terrible – but that’s typical Cedar Park, they love to build business, but forget that no one walks in Cedar Park. Also – if you’re a laptop hobo, don’t come here(lap-top hobos take a table and use it as a desk, that’s not tolerated here, they will ask you to leave so other paying customers can sit). All in all, it’s good food, good service, if you need something fast. *If you’re from New England, or even DC,– then you won’t like this place – try Schlotzsky’s – they suck, so you’ll be used that.

I have been eating at Jersey Mikes Subs since 2002 when they opened their Great Hills location in NW Austin. I Love Jersey Mikes!!! This location is just as great as every location in Austin! #9 Club Supreme — This is the ultimate club! #13 The Italian — The Best Italian! #6 The Roast Beef — Delicious Angus Beef! If you like sub sandwiches you can’t go wrong with Jersey Mikes Subs. Yes Jersey Mikes Subs cost more than subway, but you get what you pay for… I like paying more money for higher quality food.

The same solid quality you’d expect from Jersey Mike’s. I love the tuna sub with oil and vinegar. My friend commented that the chicken wrap tasted a little bland, so there’s that, but they’re pretty good. Like Subway, with a little more personality.

Being from the North East I have eaten a lot of subs, hoagies, or grinders. Name depends on which part of the US you live in. Sunday, crowded as you could get a sub for a dollar donation to an animal charity. Too busy maybe for the number of employees working. Bathroom could have used a cleaning, lines blocked some of the tables and you had people at your elbows as you ate your sandwich. People wanting to use the restroom had to get past the line waiting to order. Space is very small and narrow. I think they needed a little larger store even when things slow down. Now as to the sandwich, which it is not really a sub in the true meaning of a submarine, would rather eat at Scholotzkies(spelling?) Jason’s or dare I say it Subway.

I like the concept which is pretty standard for this type of a food operation. Place your order, watch the production and pay at the end. This location is short on parking but we don’t need to be within twenty feet of our destination. The sandwiches are prepared from very fresh ingredients, cold meats are sliced to order. The different combinations are interesting and tasty. All the employees are intelligent and engaging. So I was treated well and got exactly what I wanted which is why I gave five stars to this new location for Jersey Mike. What could be a problem(Memo to future food operations in Cedar Park) is that clearly, there is a need for even more restaurant seats in this area. Today, Sunday at around 12:30, the line started out the door. To their credit, the sandwich makers were working as hard and fast as possible but it still took me almost thirty minutes to get out the door. A little more market research might have led the owners to consider a second sandwich station .I saw among the customers, employees from Academy and Costco waiting in line. If management wants to keep this built in clientele, they need to be able to put food in their hands in about ten minutes or they wont be able to go there on a lunch break. There is room for a second station and would eliminate just one table for two.
