So one thinks hmm surrounded by mediocre franchise restaurants, this can’t be much better than those, but it IS. Don’t judge by its location. It’s sooo much better than its neighbors! I know I was pleasantly surprised. Fresh, beautifully presented, creative sushi and other traditional Japanese offerings… all taste delights.

yummmyyyy so if you know me(or my reviews) you know i am a sushi addict went to this place during my lunch break cause i work pretty far north and seeing that it was been rated just under the uchi restaurants i knew i was going to be in for a treat! i would definitely recommend making the drive up form down town for some quality sushi. i got the lunch special C which was 4 or 5 pieces of chefs choice nigiri and a choice of roll(i choose rainbow cause i love the extra fish on top) the rice was the best surprise cause sometimes if the rice is bad it can ruin the taste of the fish but this place got it spot on!!! delish miso soup came with it as well! total includeing tax was $ 13 Will be going back for sure!!!

Bruce Lee is an amazing chef! Not only do they have better sushi than Soto, their service is out of this world. The portions are great and you will leave full & smiling!

Went with safe choices since I’m pregnant, although I wish I could eat sashimi. Lunch bento box and 2 roll combo were both good! Location is clean and they have happy hour from 4:30 — 6:30 with drink and food specials. Will definitely return(:

We’ve been here numerous time, and never been disappointed. The servers are very attentive, and the sushi is fresh. They have a wonderful assortment of specialty rolls, and an awesome happy hour. It was a lovely surprise to learn the owner also has several sushi restaurants in Las Vegas, which my husband and I enjoyed while living in Henderson NV. It’s truly a small world!

Stopped in here Friday, Dec 11. My parents are in town visiting and my dad was wanting Sushi. So we found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it. I ordered the Tiger roll and my dad ordered the Yum Yum roll and another fried/spicy roll(the name I can not remember.) Everything was delicious! The service was great and the sushi was delicious! I will return for when I have my sushi cravings!

The most amazing sushi! The clay roll is absolutely one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had and my boyfriend and I eat a ton of sushi! Found this place accidentally and now we can’t get enough!

We Can’t say enough great things about this place!!! Mario is one of our favorite sushi chefs — and they go above and beyond to wow you with their amazing flavors and inventive dishes!!! Only bad part… They are closed on Mondays!

This place is really fantastic! Great sushi! I was skeptical because of the location(suburban hell strip mall), but it’s the best sushi in this area! The staff is really friendly too! I highly recommend Sushi Fever!

This is my new favorite sushi stop. The service and the food is top notch. So glad to have a quality sushi joint in Cedar Park. Very comparable to Tomo with innovative rolls. Can’t wait to come back and try more stuff.

A relaxed vibe but busy(at at least on a Friday night) with many families. Attentive service. Good value– lots of nigiri $ 7 or less for 2 pieces of nigiri(quite high quality fish too). Priced especially well during Happy Hour which ended at 6:30 and had a good selection. Fish was very fresh and the chefs creative. The fish specials were particularly enjoyable(delicious kampachi the night we came). However, they were a bit heavy-handed with sauces and other condiments. Overall, the food was not as refined as say, Soto or Uchi. But that won’t stop me from coming back again(and prolly often) for the tasty dishes, fun atmosphere, and friendly service. Had a great time!

Really friendly tentative service, fresh melt in your mouth sushi, and the daily lunch specials are wonderfully priced! Ten dollar sushi lunch with miso is all a guy needs! Only reason I didn’t give five stars because I didn’t try the whole menu, will definitely go out of my way to return! Cheers!

Sushi in the burbs? Not gonna lie-I was skeptical. The atmosphere is great with dark wood tables and a big long sushi bar. We ordered several rolls and appetizers. The garlic edamame is a tasty starter but don’t eat it if you’re planning on getting up close and personal with someone. It is for sure garlicky. The hamachi jalapeño is tangy with a great amount of heat. The spicy hawaiian roll was my favorite. It was a great sauce that goes well with the spicy tuna. The food is beautifully plated and our waitress was wonderful. Even when they are busy they don’t rush you out the door. The owner is behind the sushi bar and the wife comes around to check and make sure that everyone is having a fantastic meal. So sushi in the burbs? If it’s at Sushi Fever… I’m down.

Found a new sushi place fav! Food is just as good quality as Soto for half the price, especially if you take advantage of the happy hour menu like I did. It’s a decent sized place that got pretty packed around 6 or so. It’s your typical Japanese décor, nothing special. But hey, who cares when the food is where it is at! Our waitress, lily, was attentive and informative. She really knew her stuff and the menu and she has a stellar attitude. We started with the garlic edamame and baked green mussels. The edamame was average, the mussels were divine — try them! We had the cold sake listed on happy hour, it was good for the price which was $ 11. We ordered 2 more though dinner. We had the uni(sea urchin) was very fresh but apparently I don’t like sea urchin. Not for me, but it wasn’t their fault as you can tell it was prepared perfectly. We had 2 prices of escolar a piece and it was very nice and buttery. Then we ordered the screaming orgasim, all I can say it party in my mouth! Hah the diakon strings under it were delicious with the seared tuna on top. Very, very good and 100% with $ 13. We ended with a yum-yum roll and 2 pieces of eel. Eel was freaking fantastic, the yum-yum roll was creamy and spicy. Wasn’t a fan but it wasn’t bad just mediocre. Lastly, for dessert(mind you I was sharing, I couldn’t concur all that alone) we ordered the green tea parfait. It was phenomenal, 2 pocky sticks, bits of mochi on top, green tea ice cream and red bean paste at the bottom. Overall, GOHERE! Love it and I will be back. Next time I’ll sit at the sushi bar though, I loved the romance of the booth but I also loved the chefs and how fresh everything was.

I’m always a little frightened of strip shopping center sushi places, but now two of my favorites are here in Cedar Park. After a year of driving past Sushi Fever, I finally stopped in for lunch with a friend. I’m so happy I did. Chef started us off with a cucumber salad which was nice and lite and not sweet, but had a nice flavor. I was really excited about my selection of The Screaming Orgasm for lunch. A delicious, spicy concoction consisting of a mound of shaved daikon radish covered in salmon sashimi with a spicy ponzu based sauce. It was both beautiful to look at at even better in my mouth. My friend and I also split a bluefin roll which was also good, but the orgasm was way better. I’ll definitely be back soon!

I knew from past reviews about their daily social hour so I suggested to my husband that we come here tonight and try it out. I hadn’t had sushi since we still lived in Chicago, so needless to say it had been a while. We walked in and immediately were impressed with the clean and chic interior. The servers and sushi chefs were all so friendly, we almost felt like we were part of the family. They sat us at a booth and I ordered the white peach sake to start while my husband chose a beer. My sake was light and crisp with a subtle sweetness from the peach. Very dangerous because you can’t taste the alcohol but believe me, it’s there so pace yourself ;-) We also ordered the garlic edamame as our appetizer and it was superb. The garlic sauce was a little spicy while the edamame was piping hot. The whole combination worked beautifully. For our rolls we chose to start with a basic shrimp tempura, a spicy tuna, and one they call yum yum. The yum yum had scallop, crab, shrimp, and cucumber. Normally I’m not a big crab person but this roll changed me. All the fish here is top notch and you can taste the difference. I surprised even myself when I ordered another yum yum just for me while my husband got an off menu special roll of the day they were calling the fatboy. That one had shrimp, fatty tuna, and was topped off with salmon. The presentation was gorgeous and my husband declared it the best roll he had eaten in all his life. We knew this place had its chops coming from Vegas but we did not expect to be as blown away by our meal as we were. What a treat! Our total bill came to $ 54 but $ 17 of that was the special roll my husband ordered. The rest was 2 beers, one sake, four rolls, and edamame which for $ 37 is pretty good considering the quality. We will most definetly be coming back again and I think I speak for both of us when I say we cannot wait!
