It’s amazing every time! The spicy chicken wings are a crowd pleaser!

Good food that is reasonably priced. Delivery charge is 5 dollars, but it is worth it. No complaints here. I love getting the chicken teriyaki bento box.

Quaint little restaurant with great food and great prices. A very relaxing atmosphere with good service keeps me coming back. My daughter loves their soups.

Staff is terrible. Telling people driving up to go home. If you didn’t want to serve people 1 hour before close, then don’t come to work. You apparently don’t need this job.

This place is just not good. I ordered online and when I got there he asked if I ordered the«teriyaki bowls»… I had my toddler and my older son with me so my mind was elsewhere and when I heard«teriyaki» I assumed that was correct. Got home, super excited to try this place out(I haven’t found a good teriyaki place since I left Washington state) I had actually ordered the bento box NOT the bowl. So, my sushi was missing. Big disappointment. Ok, moving on. I realize he did repeat my order to me in the restaurant. My bad for assuming they did their job right. Ok now, where’s the teriyaki sauce?! My chicken has the tiniest amount of sauce and tastes horrible. I’m pretty sure they just boiled the chicken. Doesn’t taste grilled at all nor does it have any flavor whatsoever. Completely bland. I’m not an experienced cook when it comes to Asian food, but I could’ve done better at home. I wish I could comment on the sushi but since I didn’t get it I cannot. Hopefully its better than their«teriyaki». I’m pretty upset I spent $ 36 on this meal :(I typically only take my family out to eat a couple times a month and what a bummer it was wasted here.

Food was super fresh tasting and delicious. Our waitress, Cydnie, recommended General Tso’s chicken – THANKYOU! It was ridiculous! Spicy and saucy and tender. Soo good. Also had a shrimp tempura bento box at our table. Ginger dressing was perfectly pungent and fresh. Tempura was crispy-no grease. Subbed a spicy tuna roll for the Cali roll and was very pleased. Fresh. Delicious. Wish we lived nearer!

Very disappointed with the lunch. Had General Tso’s Chicken. Very bland. Same with the Hot and Sour soup. Just lacking flavor. Also, they wanted to charge $ 2 to upgrade from White rice to Fried rice. Have never seen that before.

We love Tokai! The food is always great and it’s nice that we can order online or get it delivered. The customer service is wonderful, even if they make a mistake they are on top of it. This is one of our favorite places to eat in Cedar Park!

My favorite Chinese near us, and they deliver! The chicken is white meat and juicy, the rice is always cooked perfectly and sticky, and the egg rolls are on point. Yum!

First time ordering from Tokai, instead of delivery I decided to pick up my order. It was ready on time. When I got home and open the containers I was surprise at the size of the portion. It was more than what we expected. Ask for low sodium and you could tell that they took care of not adding any additional salt. We had the orange chicken(extra spicy) and the mongolian beef. Both had good flavor to them, and extra scipy. It came with large portions of rice and fried egg rolls. I think next time we will try eating at the restaurante!

I order delivery from Tokai a few times a month. I am a huge fan of Hibachi but am not always in the mood for eating out. I do wish they would deliver saki! Haha! Hibachi grill items come in these nice plastic portioned to go containers. It’s usually the perfect amount of food for me and the seasoning is delicious. Its served with the usual Japanese steak house sauces and ginger dressing salad(my favorite!) I will speak about the sushi but I feel like it may have been my fault and what should I really expect from delivery sushi? It’s just okay, I would recommend the Hibachi items over the sushi I had. It just didn’t seem very fresh, which it wasn’t because it was delivered, and there were too many toppings it was more smothered than topped. Otherwise, I’ll eat here again and again as long as they deliver!!!

Well short review. I ordered some egg rolls to go & they were good, crispy, and not greasy. I had both the vegetable and pork rolls. The service was fast and the guys were courteous. I would like to try the full menu next time I’m in town! I just needed a quick snack, sorry I couldn’t say more.

The Hibachi meals are my favorite. Lean meats with veggies and healthy sides. They have the best salad dressing. A citrus dressing that’s very tasty and unique. Over the years the wait staff has been excellent.

Ordered delivery tonight because I needed some sushi. Ordered the Iso roll which I must say was pretty good. Shrimp spring rolls were ok but mostly just lettuce. Crab puffs are good with a good sauce. The hot and sour soup is good and spicier than most. of I could give 3.75 stars I would because overall it was pretty good. I’ll try something new next time. Kind of a sushi snob too so has to really wow me for 4 plus stars.

Went in for the Chinese Lunch Special. Not a whole lot of choices, but what we got was very good. Waiter was outstanding, his name is Peter.

Review for Delivery Only. So disappointed. Placed a very small order for delivery to my house 2 miles away exactly(I decided I was allowed to be lazy for one night and was willing to pay the delivery fee and spend the ridiculous«minimum» amount). Delivery took over 1 hour 20 minutes(placed at 6:40pm). The excuse? Weather. Come on folks… nothing was falling from the sky, it wasn’t freezing out and I live off of the major connector roads in CP exactly 2 miles away. When I called at the 60 minute mark, the hostess with serious hesitation, told me my food had been«out for awhile». Sushi shouldn’t be out for«awhile», hot or cold. Waited another 20 minutes and still nothing. Manager offered a call in discount for next time but did not ask for info… can’t wait to be made a fool when I try to call in an order next time. When the food did show up(8:20pm) the delivery kid was nice enough but didn’t have a pen… so i had to go dig one out while trying to keep my protective pups at bay. No apology for being late. Just an epic fail of customer service by this place all around. The salad should have been cold(seaweed with seafood) and the sushi should have been warm for one and cold for another. Everything was awkwardly runny and room temperature. It’s seafood people… Seafood, sushi etc. should never be delivered room temperature… that’s a health hazard. I hope they get it together or stop offering delivery.

No beef, normally the food is great, never ordered the sushi, I feel some things are to be prepared and enjoyed at the same time. The fried rice are exceptional! Esp the beef. Yummy!!! The soups dont come off as pre-prepared, almost a hominess to them which I appreciate. Chef specials are wonderful, we are fans of the dragon style w/pan fried noodle. My only qualms. the orange chicken, the orange is missing. the sweet smell of orange zest, the melodic taste on my tongue all were missing, and the peel??? Its almost as if the oranges were way past their expiration date and the chef decided to utilize the moldy ones anyway, understanding trash day isnt till Wednesday. I called and spoke with Peter and of couse he was pleasant he assured me he keeps an eye on the chef???(Not sure how yo take that comment), should I be alarmed that you feel the need to watch your chefs every move? Anyway, didn’t want a refund juat felt the need to share the dish was lacklustre. Also, the sweet lady who takes the orders, I feel she should have taped to her jeans or at least be shy bit aware of what the restaurant she works for is actually selling, Ill tell her a dish and she seems surprised normally places me on hold to ask if they have blah this or blah that… miss my NY days when everthing was associated w/a number. lol I will order from them again; bc as I shared earlier, their food is normally a winner.

We ordered by phone for pick up. The girl on the phone was nice and all the staff was very polite when I picked it up. I got home and the entrees were mediocre but edible but someone forgot the filling in my crab puffs! Empty, fried wanton shells just weren’t what I was hoping for.

Disclaimer– this is a delivery review. Their flyer had been sitting on our counter for a while so when the lazy sundays kicked in we took advantage. On the phone they said it would take 45 minutes which it did almost to the dot so no complaints there. Was it the best Chinese food ever, not by a long stretch. But it was good. I ordered the hibachi vegetables(sans mushrooms) that come with steamed rice, and threw in tofu for an extra dollar. The tofu was soggy but the flavor was still good. It came with two sauces, one I’m guessing was teriyaki and the second was a mystery. I ended up not using either because the vegetables had good flavor on their own from whatever they were cooked in on the hibachi. It was just carrots, broccoli, and a few grilled onions but it kept me full. My husband got the combination fried rice and said it wasn’t bad. We would order from them again, maybe if we didn’t feel like leaving the house for Pei Wei. But no it wouldn’t be my first choice for Chinese.
