Pretty fun ride. Great thing to do after being at Inflatable World.

My daughter enjoys riding the train, and both the conductors have been great(especially Mr. Joey, the professional whistler!) so the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is the price. $ 5 per person to ride a little train around a mall for 5 – 10 minutes is a bit much. Even with the buy 2 get 1 free we can still ride the Zilker Zephyr for less and that’s outside and 15 – 20 minutes worth of choo-choo fun.

Mall trains aren’t just for the holiday season anymore! Much to my surprise when we visited Lakeline Mall today, this train was up and running. Tickets are $ 5 a person so Ms Princess and I hopped aboard while Daddy did a little shopping. The conductor’s assistant was super nice and showed us the ticket kiosk. We got aboard the caboose and settled in for the ride. Now, it’s not a long trip, but it lasts about 10 – 15 minutes. It drove over to the kids play area, back, down to the next department store, and then back around the kids play area a few more times. The conductor told us interesting facts about the train and had the kids wave to other kids while driving by. It’s over by Sears on the first floor.
