I ate here for the first time recently, and definitely don’t plan to go back. My roast beef sandwich was nothing special. I had to ask my server several times for a to go container. She finally brought it the third time I asked. The final blow was when I received my check. I was charged for my sandwich AND tater tots. When taking our order she had asked which side item I wanted. She said the restaurant was known for it’s tater tots, so that’s what I chose. It turns out the tater tots were extra, not included with the sandwich. What? Then why did she make it sound like they were!!! I politely asked her about this, and told her she made it sound like these were included with my lunch. She failed to see why this was a problem, and informed me(after the fact) that they weren’t. I DONOTRECOMMENDMAGGIORE’S.

We went here to watch the AFC championship game and had a great time. The food was fabulous, the service was prompt, the TVs were everywhere and the sound was loud. Yay football playoffs!

Went here for the first time on Christmas night. The food was really good, but they seemed understaffed for the full crowd and service was very slow. We will likely go back at a time when they are not so slammed as we did enjoy the food. Hubby had a philly cheesesteak, I had a burger. Kids had mini corn dogs and chicken tenders.

It’s your basic bar food place that is delicious. We order their pizza which was a great size to share. The prices are great.

Great meal last night. Seth the waiter does a wonderful job of taking care of us. Our pizza and pizza rolls were great!

Our family just moved to the area and we were looking for a new place to try. Based on reviews here on Unilocal,we couldn’t pass it up. Our waiter was super nice and helpful with suggestions. The food was amazing. We tried a little of everything. Mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, wings, tenders, pizza and the Mags burger. We couldn’t pass up dessert either. Nothing disappointed us. Great vibe too! Thanks for the much needed and excellent change of pace for our family!

First visit. Must say, anyone can do a chicken sandwich, but they do a great chicken sandwich, flavored deliciously. Nice place, decent bar. Not am extensive menu, but based on the sandwich I had, at least they do what they’re doing, well. Definitely worthy of a revisit & I will be back.

Very very disappointed. Mags was our local go to for good burgers and fish tacos. Don’t order the fish tacos if you want fish, Fish used to be the main ingredient, now cabbages is the main ingredient. The burgers are about 1⁄3rd The size they used to be which would be fine if the quality of beef was still there. This is our 3rd time since the change and we won’t be back for a meal. I am sure they will not miss us. A Resturaunt can make these changes when you dominate the industry in a neighborhood.

Started coming here because this is where the local fan club of my favorite football team meets. The menu is basic American fare. When I say basic, I refer to the choices themselves, and not the flavor and tastiness of the food, which is much better than your average sports themed type restaurant. Everything my wife and i have had was fresh, hot, and delicious. The wings are some of the best outside of Buffalo, and i should know, having grown up there(and having worked at the home of the Buffalo Wing, the Anchor bar). This is one of the few places you can get juicy, flavorful chicken strips. Most places they tend to be on the dry and/or bland side. Not here. My wife loves them! Service has always been fantastic, even during the busy Sunday afternoons we have gone there. The beer is cold and people are friendly. i highly recommend!

It took us almost two years to make it back and give Maggiore’s another try, but it was well worth it. Let’s start with the food. We had mozzarella sticks and pepperoni rolls for appetizers, and both were amazing. The moz sticks were big and hand-breaded, and the rolls were as good as I remember them(Brooklyn Heights on Lakeline should take note). Based on the experience documented in my last review, I wanted to give the burger another try so I ordered the Mag Burger. I don’t say this lightly, it was perfect. The burger was exactly medium rare as ordered, and the fried egg wasn’t overcooked so the yolk drizzled delightfully over the rest of the burgery goodness. My son’s chicken tenders(also hand breaded) were so good I had a hard time restraining myself from poaching bites off his plate. The service this time around was impeccable. Our waitress(Sedona) was on point throughout every aspect of our meal, from greeting us within a minute of being seated, to asking for my son’s autograph when he told her he wanted to be a musician when he grew up. We’ll ask for her again next time we visit. Mike B., thanks for listening to my last review and helping to make our return visit an awesome one. We’ll be back again very soon!

$ 10 for half a club sandwich? My wife and I went for dinner, I ordered a Mag’s burger and she ordered a club with a side salad. Her salad was delivered and a minute or two later our food arrived. As stated above, who sells half a club sandwich for $ 10? I got a delicious, good sized burger for the same amount. We asked the waitress and she said that’s the portion so we sent it back. To add insult to injury, the price of the side salad went for $ 1.99 to $ 3.99 after they took the club off the bill. Had I known that we would have refused it all and found another restaurant. As it is, we certainly won’t be back.

Love their Godfather Pizza and chicken strips, I go there all the time. Might be a little higher than most places but worth it. Never had bad service or bad food in the many times I’ve been there. Lots of tv’s too.

This place is unbelievably cozy and friendly, with fantastic food, excellent drinks, and the best — by FAR — daytime barmaid in the history of alcohol sales! Her name is Tami, and she is definitely the cat’s meow! She makes one feel as if they are sitting comfortably in their living room while correctly anticipating their next desire. Every time I visit Maggiore’s the experience is worthy of a gold medal! Kudos to Tami, the best barmaid in the history of the universe!!!

I love coming to this place. I love the waitress and she’s always so cool and very friendly. We were there on a Sunday and they have happy hour all day which is a huge plus. We ordered chips and hot sauce and usually I love it but this time it was a little off but usually it’s really good and I enjoy it. Their queso is some of the best I’ve had. We always order the chicken wings with the hot teriyaki sauce. The hot teriyaki sauce is to die for yummy. Their pizzas are also delicious the mozzarella is is really good and their sauce is zesty. It’s one of our favorite places to go on a regular basis. Highly recommend it if you’re in this area. We ordered a lot of stuff on the menu through our visits and we’re never disappointed

This is a very good neighborhood bar and restaurant. They have a good happy hour during the week and it’s all day happy hour on Sundays. That is perfect for the upcoming football season. They have lots of tv’s to catch the games too. The service is good and the staff is friendly. This place is close to my house so I’ve been here several times and have tried many things on their menu. Their Italian dishes are good and they take pride in them. They have good sandwiches too, but their burgers are really good. They can add grilled onions and I highly suggest it. The buns are good too. They have chips and salsa as well as queso. I recommend the queso, the salsa can vary at times and sometimes the garlic is a little heavy but the next time it’s good again. That can happen when salsa is homemade. I love to dip their seasoned fries in the queso, mmm. My favorite item is their chicken wings. They are fried perfectly, and they have over a dozen sauces to choose from, and I haven’t had a bad one yet. My favorite is the hot terriyaki, which actually has some heat to it, which pairs great with a cold pint. Very good place, I keep going back and I think you will too.

Have review Maggiore’s in the past and always been a positive experience. But, the last few times have been a bit lacking and after this past weekend, felt I needed to do a quick review. My daughter was having a sleepover with about 8 friends and they wanted spaghetti, meatballs and breadsticks. I called and talked to the hostess and she assured me that one meal would feed two-12 year old girls. I placed my order and it was ready to go on time. The bar was busy, post KY Derby but the bartender was attentive and quick as usual. The issue, not the service. The issue, the dinner. I included a picture of one of the 5 spaghetti and meatball dinners I received and it was the best of the 5. It was basically a box of noodles, two meatballs, only one breadstick a glob of cheese and almost no sauce. I literally had to open a jar of sauce to make the meal edible. If one of the meals was a little light on the sauce or two, not a big deal. But this was just a painful experience on how it was prepared. We will be going back to Maggiore’s as it is really a nice, local place and hoping our last few visits were an anomaly and not a trend.

I’m rating this 3.5, but Unilocal will only allow a 3 or 4, so that’s that. Looking for a swanky place for date night? Well this certainly isn’t that place. It’s a typical family friendly american restaurant which plays sports on tv, has pizza and beer. Looking for a place to let ur kids run wild while you enjoy a 22 oz thirsty goat? Well now you’re at the right place. Although I’ve lived close by for over 2 years now, it took me so long to give this place a try. I’m glad that I did. Thursday night, it wasn’t too crowded. We were directed to a table immediately, and waited on promptly. It is refreshing to go to a restaurant with friendly service. Beer bottles were $ 1 off(Thursday) and there’s a small selection of draft. Mind you, I’m not a bottled /off the rack /big name beer gal, so the lack of craft beer sort of disappoints me. The good ones were all bottled — I do wish they expand their tap selection. As any vegetarian would, we diligently ordered the veggie 10 inch($ 9.99, comes with 5 toppings). The reason I have a 3.5 star review is cos the pizza is ‘meh’. The crust tasted like dominos pizza and I didn’t really like that. Unilocal has this part spot on –3.5 stars. There are many appetizers to choose from as well, but I didn’t try any of them. What this place lacks for in great pizza, it makes up for in ambience. As a mom of a 3 year old, you have no idea how much I appreciate the awesome patio which is also fenced. Your kids can run all they want, but they won’t get hurt. The service was really good. I keep stressing on that cos it is one of the most important aspects of running a good restaurant. Plus– the music they play: is AMAZING. None of that awful pop noise — just good old classic rock, that goes perfectly with that 22 oz beer. Cedar park residents — do check this place out. Families — y’all will love the ambience.

This is way better than I thought it would be. I figured, bland strip-mall suburban restaurant(and was partly right) but still, the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is awesome, and there are tons of TVs, all tuned to sports. The place gets crowded fast if there’s a big event going on. A little pricey, but like I said, better than you expect for what it seems to be(by which I mean I’d choose this every time over Chili’s or some crummy chain like that). There’s also a pizza bigger than the table, so that’s always an option.

Finally, sat down to write these fine people a review! If you are searching Unilocal for ideas on what to order(as I always do) I would say Mozzarella sticks, they are creamy and crunchy. Very satisfying with a nice pint, speaking of, they have a pretty good selection. Not anything special, but good nevertheless. Their pizza is where it’s at though, it is super yummy. I always sit near the bar so I can watch games on their awesome T.V.s. I really love the sports bar feel and the funny signs(looks for the aggie sign)! Any-who, you wont be disappointed here, I have gotten take out before too and it is just as good. The wait staff is always attentive and if you find they aren’t 1) calm down, your being impatient 2) communicate that maybe? Sorry but no one is perfect and I have always had great service there. I am and always will be a loyal customer.
