Good food, bad service. If you don’t want to be in a good mood and be nice to people then don’t work somewhere that customer service is part of the job. Here’s an idea, stock paper towels in a Costco warehouse and be rude by yourself.

Rudino’s has awesomely good food. I’ve tried lots of stuff on the menu, from pizza to calzones to sandwiches, and everything has been delicious. Last time I was here, I tried the French Dip(see picture). The bread was flaky and had the perfect amount of toasted crispness. It wasn’t too thick, either. Nothing is worse than not being able to taste your sandwich for the bread. The roast beef had good flavor and it had just the right amount of mushrooms. The au jus was slightly salty, but seeing as how I ate the whole thing and use all of the au jus, it couldn’t have been that bad. The au jus was thicker than most places, and soaked into the bread and meat nicely. My husband eats here frequently because of the proximity to his work, and his favorites are the grinders and calzones. The only downside(and maybe this has changed) is that a long time ago I brought my nephew here and ordered a kids meal for him. It cost $ 5 or so and was mac and cheese with applesauce and a drink. The applesauce came in a sealed cup, like they bought a case of applesauce from Costco and are reselling it in their restaurant, and the mac and cheese tasted like Kraft from a box. I felt ripped off, but I don’t normally tote a kid around with me so maybe this is the norm. This experience definitely won’t keep me from going back. I just won’t bring the toddler anymore.

My boyfriend and I came here for a cheap dinner before the Texas Star game. I didn’t see a brick-oven, so I wasn’t expecting much. Thankfully, the pizza came out good. It was a good place to grab a cheap pizza before the game. Will we return? Maybe.

DELICIOUS! I got a coupn online, so my meal was free( ) and I was a little skeptical about driving to Cedar Park, but for FREE pizza, I’ll drive about anywhere. THe food was great, we got what is considered the«supreme», maybe the«royale» it was called? The crust was great, the cheese was all melty and gooey, overall-GREAT traditional pizza. Sweet tea was fantastic also. For a 12″ pizza we paid about $ 16, it was $ 20 for the bigger pizza. But it would’ve been worth it :)

The food was good. Lots of choices, tasty, and reasonable prices. The service and atmosphere were really bad. We waited quite a while for our food as there was only one person cooking and then when up went up to ask for sauce, I had to stand there a long time because he was cooking and never came out to see what I(not sure if he saw me but I was up there a long time and I couldn’t get close enough to get his attention without walking behind their service counter). He did add bacon to our cheese fries for no extra cost, though. Almost every table in the place was empty and dirty the whole time we were there and we had to clean our own table. Partway through our meal, a very strong and long-lasting cigarette smell came out like the were smoking in the back room. Big turnoff. Overall, the food, selection, and prices were good enough to give it a second try to see if the service improves.

Every time we go to this shopping area to eat we end up here. All but once or twice I guess. The food is great. Its like a sandwich in many ways but not in so many others. Not once do I recall having any issues with the service. It’s a standard eatery for us now. Pls note. Whoever geotagged the location was using a bad GPS signal or something. It’s actually located east of 183A behind chick fil a next to Target and next to the movie theater.

This is one of my favorite places and I eat there often. If I don’t want to make dinner at home, this is one of my default places. I’ve loved everything that I’ve eaten including pizza, calzones, and grinder sandwiches. It is kid friendly and you get quite a bit of food for your money. As a bonus, we often find coupons to Rudino’s in the Community Impact newspaper.

I’m surprized I don’t have a review in for Rudino’s before this. I have been to this restaurant a few times when they first opened. When the parking became so ridiculous, I stopped coming. I went back because I was craving a Turkey Reuben so I decided to brave the parking situation. I lucked out by getting a space only four stores away. Only one undecided family in front of me ordering. My turn, the order taker was friendly, took my order. He told me that the kitchen was backed up so my sandwich could take 15 minutes. Okay, no problem. Walked to the soda machine to get my drink, and undecide family was crowding it out. So I wait and wait, finally they move on. I get my drink and go for a lid… Geez, Undecided family is now blocking the lids and straws. I take a seat to wait and a couple of minutes later. Yes, my 15 minute wait was cut down to 5 minutes. The sandwich is 9 inches long. It has a good amount of turkey on it, some Kraut and 1000 Island dressing. I cut it in half and am throughly stuffed with the half portion. It is delicious and filling. This sandwich and a drink came to about $ 8.50. For the price and flavors, this place is a good deal.

I am not a pizza fan, but my wife and daughter wanted to try Rudino’s. I was relieved to see the menu included hot sandwiches or «Grinders». The line was out the door and there were only three people working in the entire place, two of them in the kitchen. While waiting in line I noticed that no tables had been cleared or cleaned and one poor woman was taking orders and delivering them to the patrons. To complicate ordering, several people were returning to take back food that was cold and orders that were incomplete. Once we were able to order food, we bussed our own table, and to our surprise, our orders arrived, complete and hot within about ten minutes. The sandwich I got, 6″ Chicken Chipotle Grinder, was good and spicier than I expected. I will go back, but will choose a time when they are fully staffed and the line is not out the door. It was a nice change from fast-food burgers ‘n fries and I didn’t have to eat pizza.(My wife and daughter liked the pizza.)

Rudino’s is our favorite pizza shop in town. They have the best crust(thin but not too thin), and the freshest selection of toppings too.

I work at the hospital near Rudinos and we order from them pretty often. The on line menu says that chips comes with your Grinder but at this store they told me that the offer does not apply to them, and there is nothing they can do about it because that was posted by the national Rudino’s and they’re local. I don’t mind paying extra for the chips, it was the attitude that pissed me off. Pizza is always good but grinders today were soggy, not just mine, my coworkers’ too. Maybe they were having a bad day, but that just added to my disappointment about this restaurant. Too bad, I like their food but bad service will make me never visit this place again.

Absolutely outstanding pizza! Highly suggest the meatball calzone or the«meat monster» pizza. Stopped in the other day with the bro-in-law and killed a large square-cut meat monster(I don’t count calories!) Service is always great, beer is cold, and the pizza is one of the best in the Austin area. Get your customer loyalty card stamped and every 10th pizza is FREE! For a laugh check out the«art» on the walls. Generic pieces with a few blinking LEDs and $ 400+ price tags. Another starving local artist… If you love pizza you must put this place on your list.

No ice in the soda machine. No soap in the bathroom. No friendly smile from the guy who took our order or the young girl who ran our food to the table. Before I even had my food, I was unimpressed. I had a cheese calzone. It was mediocre. My sister had a tuna grinder and said it was okay– on par with Potbelly. There were some cute folksy landscape paintings on the wall that I enjoyed.

Took the kid to see Ice Age 3 — it was pretty terrible, anyway, after coming out of the theater and burning my eye sockets out with burning sunlight and 105 degree heat and I was starving and thirsty. I saw this place… interesting enough from the outside for me to walk in. My picky 5 year old autistic son loved it and downed his pizza and lemonade. My wife got a gyro grinder which she thought was very tasty. I had 3 slices which I customized with toppings. The pizza was very good, a lot of toppings, and a ton of cheese, but it wasn’t all greasy, it was just good. The slices were large and again they must use high quality cheese but it wasn’t greasy. I would definitely recommend it for a quick stop in or cheap date, especially if you’re already going to the movies there(sorry drafthouse snobs).

I’m cruising through the parking lot at the Cedar Park Cinema(1431/183A) looking for a spot to meet my wife. The sign says, «Rudino’s Pizza and Grinders». A grinder you say… I look, but see no monkey dancing with a cup. I recall that my friend from Chicago once educated me, «Grinders are subs, you redneck.» *SCREECH* *Stop car* Mmmmmm… Samich! I just happen to be starving. Coincidence? I think not. Though the pizza is tempting, I need to stay mobile. So, I opt for the Rueben. A sandwich style that, were I ever forced to marry a sandwich, would be my first choice. Keep the Russian dressing if you will, add spicy mustard, and toss over a Widmer Hefeweissen on tap, please-and-thank-ya-ver’much. The bread is awesome, the $ 6 price makes it feel like a bargain and I enjoyed it immensely. It was not a real reuben in my book, as the meat was not traditional corned beef. But it was tasty just the same and there are at least 20 to choose from(including some for the non-meat-eaters out there). 4 adequate taps, good bottled beer selection, and soft drinks are self-serve. The pizzas look like they could be good. Service is counter-based but helpful. I was parked on the sidewalk pronto enjoying a tangy hefe eating my sandwich from a unique carryout box/3Dpuzzle that makes for a decent makeshift paper plate. People watching with good food, cold beer, and a beautiful sunny Texas day. To heck with ol’ Milwaukee, it don’t get no better’nis!

Most delicious grinder is the french dip. Crusty fresh bread, savory sauteed mushrooms, melted cheese and the a rich au jus for dipping. It may be my favorite sandwich in town. If I can convince myself to stray from the grinder, I would like to try the pizza next!
