We visited the Chrome Horse along with a bunch of friends for a birthday party. We used one of the party rooms. Our server, Megan was fantastic! She took on about 25 of us by herself; we were all ordering drinks, appetizers and meals and she was friendly, quick to get our drinks and our food came out really fast. The food was decent. Not great, but not bad. My only complaint would be that the food is pricey given the type of restaurant it is(a bar). Prices are comparable to Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden.

I traveled to the Chrome Horse with my boyfriends band, because they were playing there that night. My friends and I took two tables in front of the stage and let the server know that we would be there until the band was done. She seemed very inconvenienced by that stating that she was going to be off first that night and was almost implying that we should move to a different table. The chicken sandwich I got, believe it was called«The Side Kick» was over seasoned which made it very dry. And the pizza my friends got looked like it was a frozen pizza. At the end of the night, when the band was packing up, a very rude server told us that we needed to hurry up because the rest of he staff was waiting on them to leave. SORUDE! She even took our unfinished drinks while we were packing up and tossed them. The entire wait staff seemed to have terrible attitudes, and the food was nothing special, in my opinion. They also serve their beer in plastic cups after a certain time which is very unappealing.

Burger was pretty dry, although the brisket on it was pretty good. Fries were ok. Coleslaw substitute for fries was decent but really small. The real reason I’m giving 2 stars, which is really rare for me, is because the service we got was kind of abrupt and rude, like we were a bother for her.

Wowsa… just spent time at a Chrome Horse with terrible service and bad attitudes. Ordered chips and salsa«up front» and a pizza. Received no appetizer and pizza with no sauce. Waitress response was«I didn’t make the pizza». Then the manager arrived and said she wouldn’t charge me for the chips I didn’t get(wow, thx) and would discount the pizza. To top it off, added a 20% auto-tip to my bill. Sad… but off the list. And the promised band never showed.

Never ate at the old location but was a patron of Fieldhouse which used to be at their new location, so I thought I’d check it out. Motorcycle theme for décor was prevalent and represented their theme well. Seated immediately. Service was excellent. Pricing was average to maybe a $ 1 item too high per item. We were there for Happy Hour so we had $ 3 domestic high boys, which I like. Always nice to have Happy Hour pricing when eating out. Had the Beef Brisket Sandwich, with Baked Beans instead of fries. Baked Beans were excellent but wanted a larger quantity. The Beef Brisket was bland, missing that smoked taste, but a great portion, served open faced on Texas Toast that needed more toasting. Wife had the Tenderloin w/Fries, which she rated about a B, and the Fries weren’t special. We eat out every Friday and stick to about five of our favorites. This one will not make our top 5 list, but we would return for an occasional change of venue.
