I had seen commercials for this place on television for years in California, and when I finally moved somewhere that actually had a Cici’s Pizza I was pretty excited to try it out. I ate here today for the first time, and it’ll probably the last time. I tried about six or seven different kinds of pizza, and only two of them were good enough that I actually wanted to finish eating the rest of the slice after my first bite. The mac n’ cheese pizza was surprisingly good, and the buffalo chicken one was alright but definitely didn’t compare to what you could get at other places. The cheese and pepperoni were just not very good — think a step below Little Caesars. The crust was absolutely flavorless, and just the overall quality is pretty awful. The salad was okay, and at least the brownie turned out to be a good finish to the meal. Even though I I generally don’t mind eating cheap pizza, this place really just isn’t worth it even for $ 5.49 per person. If I had a bunch of hungry kids and wanted to go out to eat on a budget I might consider taking them here, but even if that were the case I probably would go just for them and not actually eat anything.

What’s not to like at all you can eat pizza for $ 6. I take advantage of the punch card, so you get a free meal pretty quick. If the pizza you want is not on the buffet, just ask. They’ll make it and bring it to your table. I love love love the mac and cheese pizza. The other ones are good too for the price. I hope this place will make it’s way over to the lindale mall/marion area as I don’t get over there that often anymore. I also hope they’ll add breakfast pizza to their line up. That would be super! Ooh, adding credit cards would be nice. I rarely carry cash, but at least the US bank is across the street otherwise you have to use their ATM and pay the fee.

Cici’s Pizza is tops in my book. The local owner has been very generous in supporting local charities and fundraisers with free gift certificates and whatnot. This is a business we all need to support because Cici’s makes Cedar Rapids a better place to live!

Cici’s Pizza is a buffet place. 6 dollars and you get all you can eat pizza, salad, and dessert. The place is good size for large gatherings like after a ball game with the kids. They have a small arcade for the kids also. The place is clean and the people who work there are nice. The pizza itself was not that great, but for the price I’m not going to complain. Great for teens and kids.
