I’ve been eating at this DQ since I could physically eat ice cream. Roughly 28+ years. My favorite items are the dilly bar, brownie sundae, crunch cone and Oreo shake. They’re a ‘Grill ‘n Chill’ location, but I have yet to try any of the hot items. Friendly service and the drive-thru is fast.

We tend to visit this classic Dairy Queen in Cedar Rapids not only for the good eats but also the nostalgic aspect.
Our family tends to order dinner and ice cream often from this DQ.
Because everything is made to order you will wait— but there is nothing better than a freshly grilled burger. The last time we went our breaded mushrooms weren’t cooked properly (still liquid dough inside) which is why this is only a 4 star rating.

Not the same as the old fashion DQ on 1^st ave but the perks of that is you can go inside or go through a drive thru, they have fast food style burgers, hot dogs, fries etc… they also have cakes not a bad DQ not that I’ve ever known of a bad DQ.
