I love this fabric shop! This is my go-to fabric store in the area. They specialize in materials for quilting so the selection is mostly cotton-based. The only downside is that I tend to work with knits the majority of the time (I’m not a quilter) so there’s generally fewer options for me to choose from.
This is still my go-to fabric store though because they are growing their organic cotton selection (they carry fabric from Birch and Cloud9 Fabrics!), they partner with a good handful of small fabric suppliers to offer modern designs, the staff is very friendly, plus their shop is nice and clean.

My complaint is the repair of a Bernina sewing machine. I believe they committed FRAUD. They said they replaced a internal circuit card to repair a keyboard button failure. I asked for the broken circuit card, and they said it was being shipped to somewhere. As they charged for a new card, the broken card belongs to ME. I believe the fix was most likely a simple connector problem, and they bill fraudulently for a new circuit assembly.
I will NEVER do business with Pine Needles in Cedar Rapids ever again.
