A NEWLOW. Jimmy johns has been a crappy franchise since launch in terms of customer service. Literally anyone can make a sandwich that tastes good using fresh ingredients. And that’s all this place has to offer. Between the internal turmoil, discrimination in the workplace. Absolute shit management, I really would NOT let the manager of this location even wipe my ass, after shitting out one of their cheap sandwiches. By far the worst JJ’s in the country. The employees are helpful enough, when they aren’t too high on weed to actually pay attention or listen. The orders are never right, and napkins are never sent with deliveries. The manager Sarah, is an absolute DEMON incarnate, she is rude to both employees and customers, and as a customer at this location for many years, I have seen her screaming at employees and customers, berating and insulting them, and even going so far as THROWINGFOODPRODUCTS at customers! Her composure, and demeanor, is extremely unprofessional; gossiping and slandering her OWN employees in front of customers! I have even heard her call employees dumb, stupid, and even choice expletives more than I was ever comfortable with. This place is in DIRENEED of professional help. Someone please stop this pregnant manager psycho, from ruining the name of jimmy johns forever. I for one, have been a loyal JJ’s customer for almost a decade; and I will NEVER, EVER, patronize another jimmy john’s after my experiences here, both as a customer, and from how I have seen the employess discriminated against, by a favorite playing, unstable, bi-polar manager. Sincerely, A concerned business owner (Just suffice it to say, I have been eating at this particular JJ’s for years)

First of all, I never really thought their food was that good. However, our company has ordered from this location on many occasions… sometimes they would deliver for just one or two employees or up to 8. I called today to place an order for delivery and was told we were out of their delivery range. When I asked to talk to the manager, she told me that unless the order was for $ 100 or more, they wouldn’t deliver to our company. She stated there are so many employees at their restaurant that they may not have known we were out of their delivery area. That’s crap! We will never place another order with them and I have filed a complaint with their corporate office. Lousy way to run a business!

Jimmy Johns took my order and hung up. Then the manager called me back and told me they won’t deliver to me because I am 1 block outside their delivery area. They went on to say that they actually made the sandwiches and had to throw them away because of their corporate rules. Then when I was busy begging and pleading her to bring them to me and take my money, she hung up on me. I called back to try to plead my case and would have considered a pick-up order but she offered to call the authorities and report me for harassment. I told her she is leaving me no choice but to Unilocal. She told me she was«really scared». Please let your pocketbooks speak for me and order from somewhere else like I had to. I’m sorry to mislead you by giving them 1 star as giving them coal in their stocking is not an option.

Came in for sandwiches. One of the kids asked for a slim if they didn’t have olives. I asked the cashier(who later identified herself as Tiffany) if they had olives. She responded by telling me that slims didn’t have vegetables and that if I wanted veggies I would have to get a regular sandwich. Wait that wasn’t my question. I kindly told her that I asked if she had olives and I knew what a slim was. She said no we don’t have olives, turned her head, looked toward her coworkers on the line, and rolled her eyes because I had corrected her. Sorry I was so annoying Tiffany. I mean I hope I wasn’t interrupting your work. Sandwiches great. Cleanliness great. Service not so great hence the 1 star.

I’m a fan of Jimmy’s. I like the French bread that’s baked just right with a slight crust on the outside and soft on the inside. I like how they remove some of the«gut» of the bread so the meat and topping flavors aren’t overpowered with too much bread(and extra carbs). Yes it’s a chain, but they have some personality and a little attitude. I always get the #5, the Vito with hot peppers. I think the best thing is about JJ’s is they don’t bombard you with 10,000 questions — what kind of bread? cheese? what toppings? spreads? etc., etc. Hey you’re the sandwich shop why do I need to tell you how to make a good sandwich? At JJ’s you just give them the number and they make it. No other decisions necessary. Simple and good.

SO. HAPPY. to have a Jimmy John’s downtown. It is really the only SUPER quick place to get lunch and also one of the more affordable places. Don’t get my wrong, I love all of the independent sandwich shops/delis, etc. But I appreciate having Yimmy Yohn’s(as the BF and I call it ;)) down here for those days where I just need to grab something quick and yummy and cheap. And they are frea-kay fast. I haven’t even had time to read their quirky signs on the walls yet because I’m in and outta there so fast.
