McDonald’s

Though McDonald’s food is pretty consistent across the country the service is not. If you do believe it go into a Chick-​fil-​A to see how a fast food restaurant should greet their guest. There are few exceptions to the level of lack of professionalism in the McDonald’s experience.
The South side and West side McDonalds in Rapid City SD are two of them. The managers have trained their staff to be professional and efficient. They even bring the coffee pot around to the tables to offer refills. Not something you find at most fast food. The managers make sure they have someone out wiping down tables all the time, not just when the front counter slows down.
When I first visited this location they had water damage and were waiting on repairs. I would say my follow up experience with the front counter staff was similar. Friendly (it you took the initiative to engage them) but not professional.

It’s a McDonalds. There’s no way a McDonald’s should have a higher rating than the best restaurants in Cedar Rapids. The food is mediocre but it’s clean for a McDonald’s.

Totally agree with Bradford. This is the best McDonald’s ever. Everyone is nice, everything is clean, and the food looks about as close to the billboard pictures as you will ever find. Bad-​da-​dada-​dahhhh
