We recently moved to Iowa and were excited to find a bakery so close to our new home. The cupcakes were decent but we found it strange that we were charged 20 cents each for the to go containers. I’ve been to several cupcake bakeries in various states and have never been charged for a container before. I understand that this is a small business but I didn’t appreciate being nickel and dimed! Despite this being close to my home, I will likely purchase cupcakes elsewhere from now on.

I knew I’d stumbled upon a hidden gem when I saw The Wright Touch pink Volkswagen bug sitting outside the store. I proceeded inside to a cozy, clean shop, decorated top to bottom in chic cupcake décor-​think chocolate brown and baby girl pink. The service was amazing, as Mrs. Wright herself makes sure you’re happy. And it’s hard not to be with the moistest tea breads, cupcakes, and cookies made fresh daily right there in the store.
Make it one of your monthly stops to catch up with a friend or call them to cater to your party or special event.

These are not good cupcakes. I bought 7 flavors and they all taste the same;heavy and tasteless. The chocolate caramel sea salt was tasteless and no salt. Disappointing. Other cupcakes in town are better.

You can’t go wrong with any of the amazing cupcakes from The Wright Touch. We had their cupcakes at our wedding reception and everyone raved about them!
