Toys R Us

This store has been in CR forever. When I say forever, I mean 25 – 30 years. It has finally undergone a remodel, but the store is still underwhelming. Another reviewer said it best when she stated the store seems like a «crappy K-​Mart.» I couldn’t agree more. I’m not a fan of the layout of the store, as I found it kind of difficult to find what I was looking for and I seemed to be wandering in circles. Hubbs and I last came here for a Christmas gift for our little cousin. We were after Legos and unfortunately the selection was $hi++y at best. I understand it was a couple of weeks before the busiest holiday of the year, but that’s exactly why you should be well stocked with the merchandise shoppers want. So, I don’t come here unless I’m looking for something very specific. I do like the selection of board games that Toys’ R’ Us has. They’ve always set the bar high as far as selection is concerned, but can be pricey. Store never seems clean and I can’t even comment on the customer service because I’ve never received any. They clearly don’t have enough staff working here. Now that our friends are having babies I will probably check out Babies-​R-​Us; I hope that department is better than the rest of the store.

Why is it always so dirty and run down in here? Ugh, this place at least used to be clean, and well kept. Now it’s a scary dump inside.

This place is pretty ghetto. Believe it or not, I have never been into a Toys R Us before. The store itself was very underwhelming. It felt like a crappy Kmart, but just toys everywhere. The staff wasn’t too helpful, the prices were okay… but I know you can find a lot of these exact same items at a Target/​WalMart and not pay as much. However, they have the best selection of board games I’ve ever seen. I saw many that I didn’t even think they made anymore in stock here. So if you’re in the market for board games, this is a definitely a place to check out. If you’re Christmas shopping and want to knock out all the kiddos in one swipe and don’t mind spending a little extra, this is also a good place to check. But shopping around could save you some dolla billz.

I don’t want to grow up I’m a toy r us kid. oh wait… I always forget about this place but it’s still there and still the exact same as it has always been. I remember begging my mom and dad to take me there do kids now days not know about this place? They have toys, toys, toys, and bikes, game cards, sports cards, gift cards, video games and much more. If you have kids or need to get a gift for a kid this is a great place to go!
