My wife and I go here whenever we want to catch a game or a quick date night. The menu has what appears to be your typical sports bar assortment of food, except they do it better(and cheaper) than most other places. The thin-crust pizza is quite good, but what really stands out in my mind is the steak sandwich topped with sauteed mushrooms. It was their Friday special. Yum!

I would consider Union Station a dive bar. That have fabulous pizza and it’s reasonably priced. I got the combo pizza and it was excellent. Plenty of toppings and a nice sauce. The crust is thin and crispy on the outside and soft toward the middle. The ground beef nachos were great bar food. The ground beef didn’t have any real flavor, but they had plenty of chips and cheese layered nicely. The salsa was excellent. They have pitchers of beer so it goes great with the pizza. They have plenty of TV’s to catch a game and they have pool tables. A great place to hang out with friends.

The environment of this place is very fun and laid back. There is a huge projection screen playing sport channels. All ages will enjoy this hangout. There is a basketball hoop, pool tables, and a juke box. The server was very attentive and filled out water right away. The pizza only takes about 6 minutes and it was spectacular! This place is absolutely amazing!!! Exceeded my expectations!!!

I told someone today that we were in the mood for pizza tonight. She said to try Union Station. Wow! I’m so glad we took her advice! The pizza was fantastic and the service was unbelievable! The servers were all incredibly attentive. Trying to be critical on a «first impression», we found everything was way above our expectations. Everything behind the bar was so well organized. Either the owner or manager is very OCD, or the staff is… maybe both! I don’t think I’ve seen better servers in any establishment. They were on the move! It is much bigger on the inside, than it looks on the outside. You could tell there were«regulars» and they were so well acknowledged by the staff. It’s definitely a place we’ll go back to, often!!!

Stopped in for a drink and a bite before I packed it in for the night. Unexpectedly had a great time with some of the welcoming locals that I stayed till close. Place was packed with locals coming from a hockey game. Everyone was friendly and in good spirits. Good White Russians for a good price. Bartenders are friendly and dependable. The jukebox is a bit overwhelming but I was able to find some good nuggets to kill the dance music that had been playing before. I’ll definitely visit again if I ever find myself in Cedar Rapids again.

I cannot tell you how much fun this bar is! I’m from AZ but walked in on a Saturday and there were tons of Hawkeye fans watching the Football game. They love their team! The pizza was aweome and we had a bucket of beer. We shot pool, shot darts, watched some sports. We visited with the owner Tim, great guy, very down to earth and made us feel welcome. We are coming back to Iowa in Septmber and will definitely be visiting the Union Station a couple of times while we are there. Excellent job guys!

Alright this place used to be a lot more fun was in here on a Friday night and the place wasn’t that busy, plus there was a weird crowd in there. the only good thing I can say about the place is there is a hoop above the back door and can be pretty fun to play for drink(shoot free throws) the Philly cheese steak her is OK nothing special, stay with the pizza it OK not the best in CR but it will fill you up! Not sure if they had any drink specials but my tab wasn’t to bad for what I got!

Good guys kind of bar, with lots of pool tables, and darts. They do have really good pizza, and Guinness is served.

The Union Station enjoys a wide mix of clientele, young and old, blue collar factory workers to white-collar professionals. They have great pizza and better menu than you would expect to find in a bar. I can’t wait until they go smoke-free and actually be able to enjoy the good food. There’s the typical smoky haze in the air and the ashtray odor hangs on your clothes and hair long after you leave.
