When I lived in the Twin Cities I watched how BW3 went from 2 locations to several by the time I moved back to Iowa in 2005. It was always a place that I enjoyed going to and I was always anxious to try a different variety of their signature sauces. However, I am afraid that I have seen the last of those good times. Over the past couple of years I have seen and experienced BW3 make significant changes to their menu which has left me disappointed because whatever those changes are my body literally can’t handle it anymore. The last few times(which has not been a lot) I have not felt well, and last night was the last straw. I took one of my managers there for a dinner meeting and shortly after we both got very sick after eating boneless wings and a couple of appetizers. I pray that other patrons there last night did not go through what we did. It pains me to say that I have experienced the last of BW3.

Not a horrendous experience, but certainly not a great one. Was just down-the-middle. Wouldn’t really go out of my way to come back again, but if push came to shove and someone really wanted BWW, I would come back. The service wasn’t fantastic. We requested a booth and were told there’d be a 20 minute wait on a booth. I saw multiple booths completely empty but with dirty tables — at other restaurants, servers will quickly wipe down a dirty table to seat us in a booth. However, we decided to avoid the wait and just sit at a table. Once seated, it was then over 15 minutes before a server came over to acknowledge us and take orders. Once the server had noticed us, however, the service from that waitress was pretty good. We had regularly-refilled drinks. However, as soon as we were seated, we asked for the TV to be changed to watch one of the games. The server was really friendly about it and said she’d have their TV guy talk to us(apparently there’s an entire guy who’s job is changing the TV?). We didn’t actually hear from the TV guy until we’d been given the check and were ready to pay, so we didn’t get to see the game we wanted to watch at all. Food itself was okay. Nothing special. Breading on the boneless wings was a bit tough, but the Potato Wedges were good. A couple things were wrong about the food(missing sour cream, etc.) which was frustrating. Definitely not food that I’d really recommend to others. Okay prices as we went for the lunch hour.

I have always loved Buffalo Wild Wings. And it is surprising to me that this one has two stars. I’ve been to this one in CR twice and both times we have had a great experience. Tonight we got take out from them and it was perfectly fine. The time limit wasn’t bad and the food tasted as great as always. I gave this place four stars because the location of the place is a pretty busy street and there is a pretty big wait on sport days. Again I’m surprised that this has two stars because the one in Des Moines is amazing and I go there all the time. But definitely I recommend this place. Also the service is amazing and my recommendation is that you get the boneless Asian zing wings. They are amazing!

Omg can I give a place negative stars!!! The service was ok but the food was terrible, and incredibly over priced. It’s bad because one of my friends works as a cook at this location, though the server said he was not on duty and is one of their stronger cooks.

Good place for sports and the ufc and boxing fights I watch every Saturday as far as the food it’s not too bad they charge for sauces which most places I go to don’t charge just for sauce if they fix all the little extras for just sauce I would give it 5 stars. Prices for drinks is alittle high as well but if you wanna have a few wings and watch sports and play trivia then it’s the spot.

Cold food, wrong flavor wings and a forever wait once they took our order. Very poorly trained staff obviously. They didn’t charge us for our fries, how big of them. No wonder the place was dead on a Saturday night at dinner time. It was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a ling time.

Went back for another lunch with my ex boss… his choice… and this time ordered a hamburger… cold…dry.tasteless. I am just at a loss for a chain this big can do this? Why? I will never go there on my own. And if my ex-boss asks to go there… I will say no and open a cold can of Popeye’s spinach and eat it instead… really! How can a multi million dollar business miss the mark SOBAD?! It’s like almost ALL large businesses. they get to big and sit on their laurels and gloat while the ship sinks. But like McDonald’s…they will always have enough stupid people show up for sub par food… AND overpay for it

I love Buffalo Wild Wings but service and quality is mixed regardless of which one you go to sometimes it’s awesome and really makes you want to go there more often and other times it’s dreadful making you wonder why you go there at all but as they advertise it’s a great place to watch sports as anything going on is usually on TV in addition the beer selection is pretty good and the prices are competitive! It is also a great place for groups it’s just the service and quality needs to be consistent!

Been going here since 2003… never again! Better service at the McD’s drive thru! Servers have no clue how to wait tables or provide any type of consistent service.

I wish I could give less than a one star… what a complete waste!!! Do NOT go here! Took FOREVER, and not even busy!!! Waiter dropped a beer on «the birthday girl» and then didn’t show any urgency. Wtf??? Our waiter, who dropped the beer, Alan, had no clue as to how to do his job. Waited forever and didn’t know what was going on. The manager even came up to us and asked if everything was okay, and when we explained to him that the birthday girl had been dumped on, he, then proceeded to say, «I’ll take care of it». Took one beer off the tab… ONE F@&king beer??? REALLY!!! I’ve been here many times, and this is the worst!!! FTP(FUCKTHISPLACE).

Guess what, if you’re on a business trip in the Cedar Rapids /Iowa City area and on a Thursday night at 11:30, after working late and getting the big presentation to the printer, you’re hungry and looking for food, you have very few options. In fact, by my count, you have one. This Buffalo Wild Wings. And if you’re a vegetarian, you’re in luck because in addition to the obvious endless supply of strangely small chicken wings, they have a veggie burger, or black bean burger — I don’t remember. I just know that aside from fries, onion rings, and a side salad, it was the only thing on the menu not made from animals. The service was friendly and attentive. We sat on the patio and were trying to go over the next day’s meeting. The patio music was crazy loud and after the place cleared out, we asked if they could turn the music down. No problem, she said. And it was done. BWW is still a mega chain with a mega chain philosophy of volume vs service and quality and therefore will likely never get more than three stars unless Buffalo Wild Wings saves my daughter from a flooding river or lifts a car off my wife.

Not the best BWW in the state. Service was definitely lacking the few times I went. Always hope they get kicked into shape. With their great proximity from Perfect Game Field, it makes for an easy after ball game spot.

Love the wings and the sauces, and buffalo wild wings in general, but this particular location has the WORST service. I went multiple times and there are plenty of workers there to help, but nobody comes to check on refills or give you your check. We could have just walked out, they were completely dis-interested.

I like their food for the most part but do not like their prices i.e. $ 10 for a simple burger… and $ 6 in Cedar Rapids, Ia for a Blue Moon draft is ridiculous…$ 4.50 for a draft of Bud Light… definitely just ordering a soda pop next time… but I am sure that is $ 3 but at least it is free refills… also it is extremely noisy if you like that kind of thing when trying to eat and converse with your table mates… overall I avoid the place because with the noise, the layout of place, the prices of food/beer, etc just isn’t worth it… there are much better places with cheaper prices for the same product than BWW…

It gets one star because I can’t give less than that, and our server was actually very nice. The downside and lasting memory was that my husband got food poisoning almost immediately from their burger… Never again!

Buffalo chips were cold, boneless wings were double cooked and chewy. Otherwise food and service was pretty good!

Worse service I’ve ever had, anywhere. The waiter was too worried about being fast that he messed up ¾ of our order. It took almost an hour to get all of our food and the restaurant was not busy at all. After we pointed out the mistake the waiter never came back to our table to refill drinks or anything. I’ll never go to this BWW ever again. When we asked to talk to a manager, to tell them about our experience, they were rude and had an attitude before we even talked to them.

Buffalo wild wings is one of those places that’s great when you’re younger as it’s a small step up from total fast food and requires you be seated prior to ordring, but that’s where the fun ends! They’ve got decent wings, but stray from wings and fried goods and the train derails pretty quickly. Best comment from BWW remains when we asked if the chicken on my salad was grilled, the response was«Well technically yes, but it’s heated in a microwave.» Sweet. At this location, the grilled chicken strips were attempted to be made authentic with a good burn from a hot grill, but came more charred than anything else. That said, the crispy strips were good and the onion rings solid. Good number of TVs with plenty to watch and even trivia going. Lots of bar seating too. Good beer selection and they fry things here well. If you want cheapish wings w/sauce choices for everyone or a bucket of fried goods w/a pitcher of PBR for a game, this is your spot. If you’re looking for decent real food, you’ll have better luck elsewhere.

Its Bdubs, It’s like hooters but more guys serving and a few more things on the menu which makes it just a little better then hooters. They do have some good sauce’s and the jerk is my favorite here. The burgers are better then at Red Robins.(not saying much) but the food comes out fast and is pretty good. Cheap wings on Tuesdays and Thursdays I think? The legs night is the best though!

Why was I at a Buffalo Wild Wings you ask? That’s a fine question, I’m still trying to figure it out. Considering I’m allergic to most wing sauces and I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants it’s safe to say it wasn’t my choice. There was an Iowa game to watch and I was being nice. I’ve learned my lesson. The wings I had were not very good. The service was horrible. The entire place was sticky(fine, you’re right, I didn’t touch the«entire place», but I touched enough!). The TVs weren’t that easily viewable from all the tables and all of them were having color issues. It was making my OCD twitchy. The best part about Buffalo Wild Wings was the boyscout selling popcorn outside. I got the mud puddles for my mom. They were delicious. Chocolate covered popcorn with nuts. Mmmmm.
