I have been coming here since this place opened many years ago. Their bagels are awesome– I recommend the chocolate chip bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese (it’s pretty much just spreadable cheesecake). I moved out of the area for a couple years, but would still drive to Dave’s to get bagels. Also, they have killer sandwiches. Cashew chicken salad on focaccia is AMAZING. If you don’t like chicken salad, the turkey bacon sandwich is great. Their breakfast sandwiches are awesome as well. Friendly staff, and your food will come out super fast. This is a great local place!

Been going there for years and consistency has been their thing. The bagels have always been great, but the workers there are just awful. They are not suggestive helpful, no smiles. This has always been happening every time I go there. I try to be kind and smile, but I get nothing in response. Good bagels, bad customer service.

I’ve brought bagels from Dave’s to work on multiple occasions (and to multiple places of employment). They are pretty much universally regarded as fantastic by anyone who has them.
I the restaurant atmosphere is cozy and quaint, and the bagels are terrific.

I’d like to think these bagels are «authentic» or indeed the best in town as a previous reviewer claims – but I don’t know and don’t really care.
I can say that this is a really comfy, roomy bagel shop/​coffee house with a nice selection of bagels, sandwiches, heaps of magazines and newspapers, and free coffee refills. I recommend the lox sandwich, which comes with a generous serving of cream cheese, smoked salmon, and capers.
