This place is really neat. I love an antique furniture store inside a nice old house. And its nice that they keep the house looking clean and tidy inside, since similarly laid out antique stores often don’t. I have never bought anything here but it would be one of my first places to stop if I’m looking for some antique furniture.

This is a great consignment shop.
I really appreciate that there is plenty of stock to choose from but the rooms are not impossibly crowded (ahem, Legacies!). It’s a delicate balance and Generations seems to know how to keep it. Most of the stuff I saw was in great shape, not outdated garbage and very reasonably priced. We scored a nicely framed vintage poster for about $ 40.
It looked like most of the tag dates were fairly fresh, so stock turns fast here. If you see something you like, snap it up because it will probably be gone! In terms of «good stuff», pricing and general atmosphere, Generations is far better than both Chattel Changers and Legacies.

This has been my favorite cedarburg store since the 1^st time I discovered it. I have yet to ever make a trip to cedarbug and not find some wonderful furniture item on the cheap at this place. I have a lovely chest of drawers from here and several lamps now. Wonderful place. Note though these item prices are so reasonably that if you see something you want dont count on going back for it grab it or it’ll be gone fast. The owner also a really nice lady! Support small business this 1 gets my full support.
