What a find! Nestled in the Galaxy Golf/Phở Khang shopping center across County Line from the mall, this deli initially feels like a Subway restaurant. Thank goodness it’s not. Their selection of fresh sandwiches is a sigh of relief for someone(like me) who becomes utterly depressed when the highlight of my choices are«Black Forest Ham» and tuna. Their staff are exceptionally friendly, and more than happy to answer questions. They have eight bread choices: Whole Wheat, Ciabatta, Marble Rye, Dark Rye, French(hoagie), Italian(hoagie), Pumpernickel, and Sourdough. The sandwiches come with a quartered pickle and Lays classic potato chips, but other chips are available for an $ 0.89 upgrade. We ordered the fresh Liverwurst on dark rye, and the Philly cheese steak on Italian. And then we didn’t talk to each other for a full sixteen minutes, except to comment on how good the sandwich was. The ingredients taste fresh(as in homemade from the grocery store). The bread was delicious. I would like to see more European style breads, like a firm Bavarian Farmer’s Rye. Heidi’s also offers fountain drinks, breakfast burritos, smoothies, desserts, and bagels. And while one should consider that the cost was anywhere from $ 5 to $ 9 for a sandwich, pickle, and chips, one should also consider that a 10 piece chicken nugget meal at McDonald’s is $ 6.50. And that’s just gross.

For $ 8 sandwiches, they can do better than this. Ordered French dip and hot chicken Parmesan. The best part of both sandwich is the bread. The bread was very good. Heard that they sell the day old bread for a $ 1. Maybe I will ask before I leave

This location is constantly screwing things up in my experience. Today, I ordered an italian sub and the stoner kid behind the counter didn’t even put lettuce or tomato on it. Just meat and cheese. This is the second time specifically that I have gotten a bare italian sub, despite all of the other ingredients being listed right on the menu. Heidi’s is too overpriced for what you get to be making obvious mistakes like this. I won’t be going back to this location any time soon.

Let me start by saying they clearly don’t pay their employees enough to deal with picky people like me. Especially the short haired red head. Give her a raise. Like seriously, she could use one. The food is decent as always. High quality meats with fresh bread make for a satisfying sandwich. Prices are cheaper than your fast food restaurants and as far I can tell, way healthier. Although unfortunately with quality comes the price of speed. They seemed to be working hard the whole time so I applaud them for putting good effort into the food production, just don’t expect to get your food as quick as something like subway, bk, chick fil a, etc. Again, that cute red head needs a raise. Oh and pickles are a great addition to any meal. So when they offer, take it!

If your the owner and that’s how you allow your business to run then that’s sad. Maybe your burrito sign should say serving burritos until 1030 while supplies last. F bombs were not dropped until you guys had me sitting there feeling stupid and not knowing what was going on. when your manager talked to me the way he did that’s when the bombs dropped. Horrible way of operating a business even if you did get slammed. No worries went to the new dunkin donuts on Arapahoe and there sandwiches are awesome. people don’t waste your time here you will regret it.

This place is horrible. I’ve been in a few times and it’s been the worst experiences of my life. They try to work very fast but mess up every sandwich they make. They would do so much better slowing down and making sure every sandwich is made right. I went in a couple days ago and there was a new kid working. He looked stressed out and under trained. I don’t blame him at all. He asked for help numerous times while I was there and was only yelled at to move faster. The sad thing was he was the only employee I actually saw wash his hands. I sat and ate and no other employee washed there hands. It was disgusting I couldn’t finish my over priced sandwich and had to throw it out. I will never go there again and I hope that kid quits for being treated so poorly

EMPLOYEES: super friendly and willing to answer any questions you have about the menu and provide recommendations mY ORDER: I ordered a wrap and it was pretty basic nothing to write home about, I still felt healthy eating it, but it wasn’t that exciting deafly just a three-star OTHER: The Sanchez come with a few sides if you get a chips it’s a bag of small Lays potato chips.

I love Heidi’s deli but this location cannot get an order right. I try to order the Cajun Crab Cake Sandwich every time, but it’s always a mystery as to which sandwich they will decide I’ll be having that day. If they do manage to give me the correct sandwich, they forget to put the avocado that comes on it. Or the tomato and onions. The closest I’ve ever gotten was once they only forgot to give me the pickle it comes with. I left today with a turkey sandwich and no pickle. Not sure why I left without checking the sandwich but they repeated it back to me and said Crab Cake. I’m sure the turkey sandwich is great but this is the first day in a week I haven’t brought a turkey sandwich from home and wanted to treat myself-so I reallllly wasn’t in the mood for a $ 9 turkey sandwich I could have had for free.

DONOTGOHERE: IFYOUMUSTEATATHEDI’S, DRIVEFURTHERAWAY — EVENIFTHISONEISCLOSETOYOU. This location has absolutely the worst service and serves very poor quality food. I asked for the Hedi’s combo(½ sandwich and soup) with the Hells Kitchen sandwich. I had 2 modifications so I said the order slowly. The sandwich maker quickly made it and immediately placed my half sandwich in a bag and handed it to the cashier. Instead of asking me what I wanted next, he then turned to the guy behind me and asked what he wanted. I told him hold on, because I wanted the tortalini soup to go with my combo and that I had more to order. He angrily grabbed the bag back from the cashier, made up my soup and finally took my second sandwich order for the ½ ham and cheese. I got chips in both bags for the sandwiches but no pickles. I asked if I could get some but he said they were out. I was going to order more but decided against it because of the poor service I had already received. Besides the rude, sub-par service, the food was also awful: –My Ham and cheese had moldy tasting cheddar. –They gave me the wrong soup — he gave me what I think was tomato bisque. Simply put: Don’t go here. Hopefully if enough ppl don’t the management will see what poor quality their staff is and that food they are offering is not ok and will be forced to change.

Good sandwich shop! Very clean, nice staff, overall a good vibe. I wished the bread was better, it was pretty plain. But a good lunch!

Just a block from my office, I’ve been to Heidi’s a few times for a quick lunch. The service and atmosphere are great, but the sandwiches are a bit overpriced for the quality. The ingredients are pretty fresh, but overall the sandwiches are very simple. The bacon is very thin and reminds me of the microwave variety. The bread is also disappointing, as the ciabatta was simply sliced white bread and the sourdough wasn’t sour at all. The sandwiches are large, but don’t hold well for seconds. I’d rather they be smaller and a few dollars cheaper. There are some cheaper and even simpler sandwich options(I’ve had the Hell’s Kitchen and BLT with avocado), so maybe I will opt for one of those next time.

I don’t know how I haven’t reviewed this place yet– I’ve been here at least two dozen times over the last few years! The food portion of this review is on one sandwich, and one sandwich only: HELL’S KITCHEN!!! Hell’s Kitchen: egg salad, bacon, swiss, cajun sauce and avocado. I prefer mine on Ciabatta with no lettuce, tomato or onion(they mask the amazingness of the egg salad). This sandwich sounds like the most disgusting combinations of ingredients, but it is the most craveable sandwich I’ve ever experienced to the point that I cannot even imagine eating anything else at Heidi’s. I sampled it reluctantly almost 10 years ago and have been craving it, seeking it and ordering it since; I’ve had it at multiple locations throughout Denver/Boulder. I always ask for 2 pickles, no chips. And I love that they have fountain Pepsi and brewed iced tea to drink. This location is in a busy strip center across from Park Meadows by Joann’s so parking can sometimes be tricky during lunch. It’s always clean, staff is always nice, and I love their frequent eater card to earn me free sandwiches. I only have one issue, and it’s really across all Heidi’s: while their breads are always delicious, I find it very annoying that the thickness to which they slice the bread for the sandwiches is very arbitrary. Sometimes I’ve had my bread sliced so thick I can hardly taste anything but bread, other times the bread has been so thin it almost tears. I prefer it thinner, and watch the bread slicing carefully now.

The staff at this location always seems to be friendly and helpful. My other gripe is that occasionally they run out of ingredients on some of their sandwiches. Good place overall.

Went in close to 7pm. They, apparently close at 7(What? At Park Meadows on a Holiday Shopping Season night??) The place was shut down(Still 15 minutes left till closing) already. The chicky doing the cleaning let me know, with her attitude, that my business was not welcome that close to closing. I’ll never understand that. If you want to close at 6:45, then CLOSE at 6:45 for pete’s sake. Don’t grudgingly keep the door unlocked but nothing available and make potential customers feel guilty for(GASP) wanting an effing sandwich. Because, you know, you’re OPEN. Not a Problem, Heidi’s. I won’t be back.

The sandwiches are great but the potato salad is awful. It rates like furniture polish. Staff is great.

I love Heidi’s…I consider myself to be a sandwich connoisseur and this is the ONLY«chain» that I would ever go to. I used to frequent the one in Englewood near the ARC thrift store off of Broadway before it closed :-(. The boys that worked there were SO nice and I never found out if it simply moved instead of closing, but I hope they were transferred because they were so nice and funny. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is great. I love their bread and how fresh the rest of the ingredients are. I only wish there were more in my area… I would go all the time. It seems like they are all clustered in the same area… need to spread out. And I’m pretty sure the one that is closed still has a profile on Unilocal which is kind of confusing.

Ive never been to a NY deli so I can’t speek to the authenticity but it was a good experience. This was my first visit to the chain. I think I was always put off by the name but I regreat that given how much I enjoyed lunch. I ordered a roast beef with Swiss on wheat and my brother had chicken salad on wheat with Swiss. We shared and I have to say I enjoyed both sandwiches. The bread was excellent and the ingrediants were fresh. I will make another visit soon. The one down side was getting sprayed by the staff when checking the soda machine.

I eat at this Heidi’s pretty frequently and it’s always a solid choice. I love the ½ sandwich combos and their egg salad w/cajun sauce is out of this world. Love the fresh bread choices and usually tend towards the ciabatta. They could have more soup choices if you ask me. This location also offers free Italian ices. Who doesn’t love free stuff?
