This is the second time my wife and I came here. The first time they got our order wrong, but the manager was very nice to fix it and comp us our meal. I will say this, the staff is very friendly and that’s the reason why the get the second star. However, the first time we went, we had some stomach issues later that day… we thought it was maybe something we ate earlier that morning. Which leads to my review today. She got the ham and cheese sandwich and the basil tomato soup and I got the regular grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. My wife is now 7 months pregnant and she figured the ham would be warm enough to be safe to eat, but there was a little bit of a white spot on it when she opened up the sandwich, but she figured it may have just been from the cheese or the sauce so she went ahead and ate it. Well now she’s had some bad stomach pains and has thrown up quite a bit. We are now headed to an urgent care to make sure she is doing okay bc now she’s feeling a lot more weak than earlier today. Needless to say, we will never be back here again. It’s too bad bc I love grilled cheese sandwiches(even if it was overpriced).

This place is great. It is not a loud bar, it’s a simple clean place with great food! That makes you think of cold winter night with the family and warm comfy food. Come vist and enjoy!

Having two extremely picky eaters in our home, it can be a little difficult trying to find somewhere as a family we can all agree on when we want to eat outside of the home. We have yet to find something on the menu we haven’t enjoyed and my two picky eaters would absolutely eat here nightly if it were an option. Very reasonable prices, excellent customer service, very clean and tidy! This has been a wonderful addition to Streets of Southglenn!

Stopped in for lunch with my wife and kids after hearing about the chain on shark tank. They definitely know how to make an awesome grilled cheese. Love you can make your sandwich as fancy or basic as you want. Had tons of bread, cheese, and meat options. Add a cup of tomato soup and what more could you ask for.

We went yesterday, and we’re excited! We were missing our grilled cheese place from Texas. It was not busy when we got there, and when they brought our food out, it was cold. I got the Tom+Chee…cold sandwich with cold tomato chunks. slices would have been good, and ripe tomatoes would have been even better. My husband got the sandwich with bbq chips, and his was cold too. Very disappointing. Glad I had a groupon so I didn’t pay full price. On a side note, the staff was very unfriendly.

This was my first time eating here and the salad that I had was pretty good. The sandwiches that my friends had were good also. The staff was adequate and the place was clean, so the next time you are in the Southglenn Mall area this is not a bad place for lunch.

We really enjoyed the grilled cheese and soup. The choices were fun and I tried about 4 flavors. I loved the basic the best. The doughnuts were a bit too much for me but overall the food was great comfort food on a cold night. The staff is super friendly too.

I’ve been to a grilled cheese place in Chicago that was absolutely amazing, so when i saw that we were getting a place here I was like — yay! We finally made it over here and I was a bit disappointed. They don’t have a fryer, so no fries. And then all their sandwiches seemed really complex for no reason at all. I ended up with a pepperoni and hot pepper cheese sandwich and after a couple bites all I could really think was«Where’s the cheese?» Don’t get me wrong, the sandwich was good for what it was. There was a ton of really greasy pepperoni’s on it(it was dripping), and a couple different kinds of peppers on it, but at most there was one slice of cheese. I couldn’t taste it at all. And for a place that has«chee» in the name, that’s a disappointment. So for $ 18 we got 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks, with no chips or anything else. I’m sure I’ll try it again some day, but I don’t think I’ll be in a rush to go back.

I was really synced about this place when I heard it was coming to Southglenn. My hubby and I go to a similar type restaurant in Chicago and love it. However, I must say for me Tom + Chee was just OK, and I think the reason it was just OK for me were the sandwiches. While they have these seemingly long list of great combos(or build your own), I found for a grilled cheese restaurant their sandwiches don’t really have much cheese(packed with other ingredients though). I had the flying pig which kind of seemed like a take on a cuban sandwich. The bread was very buttery and crisp, it was packed with ingredients and if it had cheese on it I could barely tell(I know it did, but it got lost in all that was on there). I guess for me, I like the cheese in grilled cheese. The sandwich was fine, but it wasn’t bring me back time and time again good. I also think if I came back I would just build my own(their sandwiches have way too many ingredients and it doesn’t help the flavor profile, it muddles it). As for the rest of the menu, I am not a huge tomato soup person so I didn’t sample it. And the grilled donut sandwiches sound gross to me. I feel like I should try it, because maybe I am just missing something, but glazed donuts and mozzarella cheese sound bleck! At any rate, it was OK. It is definitely worth a try. It is a fun concept. They also have gluten free and vegan(cheese) options.

I LOOOOOVVVEE grilled cheese and tomato soup. I’ve tried this place about 4 times now b/c friends in other states raved about this place. I don’t know what it is, but the tomato soup here always gives me heartburn. I eat massive spicy food ALL the time, and tomato soup a lot, and never have an issue with heartburn, but this place’s soup always hurts. :(I’ve tried all three tomato soup versions and get the same result, and I can’t bring myself to just get a grilled cheese here without soup. I always try to get a different sandwich when I stop in too: Pesto & Turk — seemed really salty. meh ok. Tom & Chee — OK. I’m not super into regular tomatoes in my grilled cheese so not a go to for me. Pep & Chee — Good! Like a pizza sandwich and their pepperoni is not like your typical pizza place kind. Grilled Cheese Donuts — Blueberry Blue — OMG. awesome. I’m not a huge«donut» fan but this was AMAZING. Desert or breakfast! I’d be down with just a regular grilled cheese from here if only the soup didn’t hurt so bad! Staff has been nice, though it seems most of them are all still in the learning phase as every time I am there it seems there is some issue with them not knowing much, but overall not too bad. Store has always been clean too. Part of me wonders if they are still working out people knowing the proper way to prepare the food at times too.((Work on the soup!!)) Mad-house for lunch, seems easier to get in and out in the evening time, at least when I have visited.

This was a fun restaurant idea. We checked it out and I had the ham and chee which was delicious… the bread was buttery and crisp and the ham and cheese and pickles perfectly melted. We also had the tom and chee that tasted delicious… garlicky. For dessert we had the smore’s grilled donut and it was super delicious and tasty. We ordered a tomato basil soup also which was very good but the counterperson said the soup wasn’t ready yet and we got our sandwiches and finished them by the time the soup came out which took another 10 – 15 minutes. Boo… the whole experience is to be able to dip your sandwich in your soup. I had to deduct a star for that.

We stopped in this past weekend(brrr was it cold!!) — soup and grilled cheese was sounding pretty perfect. I tried the tom chee grilled cheese with a cup of creamy tomato basil; the boyfriend tried the bacon/bleu sandwich. Both were delicious! The tomato chunks on my sandwich were a tad large — I think I’d prefer thin slices — but that’s just a personal preference. Prices are good for lunch. We will definitely come back!

I love the concept, I mean who doesn’t like Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches(Tom+Chee)? Cold day and comfort food, just like when I was a kid! However… I was a little disappointed both with service and with the food. I’m not saying I wouldn’t give them another shot, because again, I love the concept! I ordered The Tom-Chee on pumpernickel and creamy tomato basil soup. My husband ordered the soup of the day, loaded baked potato, and a made to order grilled cheese sandwich of, Hardy White Bread, ham, pepper jack and American cheese. We also ordered a side of Mac and Cheese; For dessert their famous«The Classic», cheddar cheese glazed doughnut. Sooooo…the service, very friendly when ordering, the staff where pretty good. However, it took quite awhile to get the food, then when we got the food we were informed that they were out of Mac and cheese, but she could give us a square of it that they use on their sandwiches. We said ok… this was pretty greasy Mac and cheese. The Creamy Tomato Basil was not seasoned enough and frankly was lacking in flavor. I did like my sandwich, but the tomatoes on it were over ripe and mushy, big turn-off. I picked them off and ate the rest, good flavor for sure. My husbands soup of the day was fantastic and flavorful and his sandwich was perfectly cooked and cheesy; maybe I just make the wrong choices? I did notice other folks taking food back to the counter as well, not sure why, but it does seem the staff and food were off that day. The grilled cheese donut was good, but not great, I would not order it again. Three stars given because I love the concept and I am hoping this was just an off day, I want to give hem one more shot!

Pure comfort food. Nothing beats a nice grilled cheese sandwich on a cool and snowy day. I opted for the make your own sandwich and made it up to my liking. Staff was great and sandwich was delivered to my table pretty fast. The sandwich was just as what my childhood perfect grilled sandwich was like… gooey melted cheese with toasted(not burnt) buttery bread. Perfect meal when not looking for fancy gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches of which there are plenty around elsewhere!

Maybe I had high expectations but it’s grilled cheese, so I probably didn’t. Although I love grilled cheese all the way back to my childhood, this didn’t live up to the standard grilled cheese I can make at home. We had the standard grilled cheese and bacon and the blue grilled cheese and bacon. I like bacon, I really do but every bite I took tasted like I was eating a mouthful of bacon and grease. My girlfriend felt the same way. It just didn’t taste very good. She did have the tomato soup which she said was good. I will have to take her word for it because I despise tomatoes period. My girlfriend does want to go back to try the grilled cheese donut, I will let her tell me how it was. I won’t return because if I am going to spend $ 24 on grilled cheese, it better be damn good and this just wasn’t. 2 stars because of the location, the soup my girlfriend liked.

Ok so it’s just grilled cheese and tomato soup but damn it’s delicious. I had the spicy grilled cheese(forget what it was called) but it had jalapeños and other goodness. Of course I had to dip into my bowl of soup which was prefect. Next time I’ll get the same sandwich but maybe try the cream tomato basil which my wife loved. Overall I’ll be back.

Tom+Chee is a fun concept that delivers both classic and crazy cheesy masterpieces for the kid inside us all. You can get grilled cheese, you can get grilled cheese with ham, you can get grilled cheese with ham on a doughnut. See how that escalated? Yeah The menu is just like that. Sadly, I ordered the Pepchee, a pizza attempt at grilled cheese. It was meh, and as I sat, eating my Pepchee, I read the menu and realized that I missed an opportunity to get something epic like a bacon blueberry mozzarella grilled cheese. Oh well you live and learn. All I’m saying is don’t be conservative when you approach this menu, be bold and try something awesome.

Didn’t realize this was on Shark Tank! Great concept and plenty of fancy grilled cheese option. The flying pig was interesting with bacon, turkey, and pickles — tons of fun flavors. The service was incredible and place was very clean. If I see one of these in travels, I will be sure to visit.
