We called ahead to reserve a table, but still had to wait when we got there. Our server was prompt on our food and drink order, so that was good, but I felt like she was rushing us and had to many tables to take care of or something. I wasnt to impressed with the food. I would never order a quesadilla from this place again, very dry, needs more cheese and oil in the pan for the tortilla shells. I had to smother it in guac and sour cream to get it down. 2 others at the table said the same thing about theres. Chips and guac was excellent, but I suggest the servers should know the price of the sides of guac if they’re not going to put it on the menu, I still never found out.

How can a business simply not care about customer service? Look at these horrible reviews! 5 months ago I swore I would never go back, but one of my employees had his choice and he chose there. As we were pulling in, I told him I swore I wouldn’t be back because the hostess was horrible. I even called the manager after my party and two other parties left because of the same thing. Hoping it would be different, we were told it would be a 10 – 15 minute wait to be seated when there were only 6 tables with customers??? I asked why we couldn’t sit in any if the 20 open tables? As the manager put her head down and walked away quickly, the hostess said«we don’t have enough servers so you’ll have to wait till their section opens up». I asked if we could sit and wait while we have a Coke and she laughed and said«didn’t you hear what I just said!?» WOW! As I was walking out she yelled sarcastically«Hope your day gets better»! If negative five stars were an option, that’s what it would be. Now, I have nothing against Chili’s, its a good restaurant to find food with a big group, and all other locations I have been to are good. But the last time, and the very last time I will visit this location, was the worst experience i’ve ever had at a restaurant. We waited 20 minutes to be seated, which was expected for a Friday night, then we were seated and it was seriously another 20 minutes before we even saw our waitress. So we gave her our order and were on our way. 30 minutes go by, and we grab our waitress for more drinks and casually, politely ask if they are backed up in the kitchen. When she realizes, she COMPLETELYFORGOTTOPUTINOURFOODORDER. Appalled, my dad says, we have been here for over an hour, are you joking? She apologizes and apologizes and says she has been working all day and that she’ll bring out free chips and queso. So she does and another 15 minutes pass. At this point, I am done wrestling a restless 1 yr old, and had somewhere to be, so I just say, have them send my food to go, i’ll get it later. So the food finally arrives, they forgot half the stuff we asked for, so my dad asks for to go boxes and the manager. And the girl has a confused look on her face so he tells her, my daughter had to leave because this took so long, you forgot half the things we asked for, I am just done I would like to let your manager know, we would just like to take this to go and leave. So the manager comes over, apologizes, asks what was forgotten and that the chips and queso would be free and we could each get free dessert as well. The waitress brings us the rest of our food and boxes, my dad orders desserts for us and we think we are in the clear. Then here comes the waitress again saying they can only do 2 free desserts, not four. So my dad loses it. Says forget it, just get me the bill, we are done and we never want to come back. So she panics, runs to her manager and brings all 4 free desserts, my dad pays, for the«free» chips and queso nonetheless, and leaves. Side note: My neighbors were also there that night with a gift card the manager had personally given them because of a similar experience we had, so that they would come back, only to be told by her that they couldn’t use it. I can only hope they can get it together, hire a new manager, because she is completely incompetent, and become a decent restaurant again, otherwise I can only hope they close and a better restaurant takes their place.

This is the worst Chilli’s location I have ever seen! I go relatively often since my work gives out gift cards and this location is near my house, but I know to expect at least an hour and usually an hour and a half or more for my total visit, including not getting my food for the first 2⁄3 of that. I almost always go on week nights and have been once on a Friday night, and usually show up around 6:45 — 7:30. We are typically seated fairly quickly(or at least as soon as someone eventually shows up at the host stand), then the server will usually moseys over after we’ve been there for 10 or so minutes to let us know that he «will be with us soon». Not sure if these guys are just severely understaffed or if they are just bad a planning scheduling because the servers are usually covering WAY too many tables. Its also rough since we have kids so we are always fighting with them until the food comes, and when you are waiting to long for that things can get hostile. They’ve also been out of chip 3 of the last 4 times I’ve been, and on the last they were nice enough to run us out some free ones when they were ready. The food quality has also been sub par at this location, and nearly everything we have gotten has been just okay and some things have been no good. Usually you can call fajitas a safe bet, what can you mess up on sautéed meat and veggies right, well the 2 times I ordered them at this location the skillet was not sizzling when I got them and the meat didn’t taste great and veggies were soggy so I have not since and will not order them again at this location. If you are a manager or owner of this location, please go do something about the terrible quality of everything here, Im not complaining because I am a food snob too good for chilli’s, I love chilli’s it has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I with I could rely on this location, I like chilli’s so much that I still go to this location knowing that it will be sub par compared to other locations.

Sizzling fajita platter with… cold carnitas. When reported to the manager I asked how long it would take to get an acceptable replacement, he said 2 minutes. It’s been 15 and still no food, as well as my party pretty much being done eating. Wtf? Chilis sucks, I was aware of them being Applebee’s Hispanic cousin, which is definitely not flattering, before I walked in. But I was agreeable and followed my party in for an attempt at squeezing a turd into a diamond. Guess I don’t have strong enough hands. Next time, I’ll try the turd magic from the comfort of my home. For those of you who think chilis is edible food, don’t go to this one because it doesn’t even sniff par.

I love myself a Chilis, but unfortunately this location has regularly been less than par, and I don’t know that my feelings can handle another heart break. One time we went in with a small group, ordered, waited like 40 – 45 minutes and they forgot my burger. Waited another 10, got my burger but it had no cheese on it, they took it back, and when it came back out it was the same burger with a large, thick cold block of cheese on it, not even close to melted, so I was like whaaaat. I’m out!

This is one place that everyone in my family can find something to eat and we’ve been to this location quite a bit. I’ve been surprised how great the service is here in Centerville. Their email coupon program was really great while it lasted, but now they’ve switched to a point accrual system(new since June ’15) and I’m a little bummed that I won’t have coupons for a free kids meal coming each week . If you’re going to go to Chilis and the choice is between Layton and Centerville, make sure you go to the Centerville Location! **They also have a system where you can pay your bill at your table with a tabletop scanner. I really like this system and wish other restaurants had the same setup.

Been here quite a few times and last night was pretty typical. Great service and my wife and I were surprised how quickly we got our good because it was pretty busy. The table was a little sticky but that is our only complaint. It would have been 5 stars otherwise.

I give this place a big EHHH… In general, chili’ menu was ok. Nothing really stood out to me. But we went in at 10 and there was what seemed like one server and the manager for the whole restaurant. We got the 2 for 20 and took forever to get our appetizer. Would I come back, probably not…

Some definite perks going on here with the tablets at each table — makes it super easy to pay. But unfortunately, I went with my vegan friend who ordered a dish and specified no chicken. It came out with chicken and the server said she would have them remake it. Turns out they took it back to the line, picked out the chicken and brought it back. We discovered this when my friend took a bite and ended up with a mouthful of chicken. Not cool, Chili’s, you should be more vegetarian and vegan friendly!

I really wish I could give Zero stars!!! We sat at our table for an hour before anyone got their food. This place is a joke!!! Everyone got their food and they are almost done eating then the manager decides to come over and say they messed up on my SALAD a freaking salad are you joking me!!! I absolutely hate this location! I would never recommend it to anyone!!! The manager did ask what she could do to make it better so we got a few deserts for free… They will probably take another hour to give us that! It has taken me 10 min to write this and my food is still not here FYI

This place is walking distance from our house so we go here often… It usually meet our needs and we get what we ordered and leave satisfied. It’s Chili’s…and they do a decent job at being Chili’s. My only concern is that it is often not as clean as I feel a restaurant should be. Sticky menus, tables not wiped down, food on the floor under some of the tables after they have been reset. Although, the way some people with children leave their tables it would take way too long to clean up to 100% perfection. Lots of families with kids who make HUGE messes frequent this restaurant… This is why we usually sit in the bar…

We frequent this location, at a minimum once a month, and have not had a bad experience until tonight. Our server dropped off our drinks and said he would be right back for our order, but to no avail. We attempted to signal other servers for assistance and were ignored. It was either pay for our drinks and leave or get the manager. So I called the store and spoke with the manager, Tyler, who quickly took our order, got us silverware and straws for our drinks, and was super nice. Our regular server, only saw him twice the rest of the night. We will be back, but overheard the table behind me had no bacon or avocado on their turkey club(um a basic staple right?!), so hoping tonight was just a bad night and things will return to better service. Either way, I was impressed with Tyler and his quick response. That is what I expect when I escalate to a manager and it is because of him that I will be back.

Came to eat around lunchtime with my nana. The service was quick. The server looked an acted very professional. This was defiantly the coolest chilies I have ever been too, because they had these cool machines where you could pay the check from your table. We ordered the chicken salad and it was amazing and huge! The appetizer was really good too we got the new pretzel sticks and it came with cheese and caramel. Yum! :D

So disappointed! We called ahead for reservations. When we arrived, we had to wait to be seated so the wait staff could«catch up». Less than 50% of the tables were seated and I counted 6 waiters on our side of the restaurant. We have been here 1 hour and 10 minutes and are just now getting our food. After 45 minutes of waiting I had to find a manager so someone would take our order. Our waiter said they were swamped tonight. Um… if this is swamped, I’d hate to see a Friday or Saturday night! They comped us some guacamole but I don’t think that is going to bring us back.

This Chilis is the worst that I know of in my area. We have been to it a dozen times with the same experience. I would expect lower than average service if it was really busy, but it never is. In fact, today, it was quite slow and the service was still terrible. Waited 10 minutes at front just to be seated because the Hostess was too busy talking in the back. Got seated by a waiter and then waited 10 more minutes for a waitress to take our order. Then, they forgot some of our food, our refills were non-existent, even after asking for one, and the food was so-so. We will only go there now to use up gift cards. Other Chilis that I have been to are not so bad. This one just seems consistently terrible with service.

To go! Is the way to go. We decided to get Chili’s to go. The girl who helped us was GREAT!!! She took our order, we paid, she asked if we wanted a drink while we waited. It was ready in about 10 — 15 mins. And we were out of there. The food was great.

We go to this location quite frequently as it’s the ½ way point between our home and Grandma and Grandpa’s house and we enjoy meeting up for Sunday lunch or dinner. The service is hit and miss but the menu is dependable if not spectacular. This past Sunday we were enjoying our dinner but they had the TV on TNT which was showing a disturbingly graphic movie, especially for my young children. I asked several people to change the channel or turn it off but no action was ever taken. Sad that a Family Dining restaurant would do little to improve the experience of their in house diners. Luckily there are other restaurants nearby we will begin frequenting instead.
