Decent food but the service is always horrible. Waited 15 minutes to place order while our waitress got other orders from customers who sat after us. Thanks

My husband and I came here Valentines weekend. Everywhere else had long waits. The service was quick, the food excellent and we even got warm biscuits to snack on while we waited.

Found hair in food. Complete order did not come out. Could not get server’s attention to bring out missing items until meal was over. Eggs were cold. The rest of food was barely warm. Bacon was burned. This location consistently seems to be worse we visit. Hopefully the other locations aren’t this bad. The pineapple tasted like it had been stored with onions.

We come here regularly and my fiancé is in love with country boy breakfast. The service is always quick and attentive and our food is quick to be brought out.

Wow! First time in a Cracker Barrel. This one was pretty good. There wasn’t too much of a wait when we were there during the weekend for breakfast. I liked their pancakes with fruit topping. You could choose from apple, peach, or blackberries. I had the apple topping the last time I went. Their sausage and eggs were good too. Sometimes the egg comes out dry, but not here. Also some places have some weird tasting sausage. I liked the sausage at the Cracker Barrel. Their bran muffins are also good and the yogurt with fruit and granola was good too. I would come back.

Service was good. Grits were soupy and had to send the eggs back; ordered over medium and got easy.

I have been to this location in the past and had great food, and great service. My husband and I took our good friend out to dinner last night and had the worst experience ever! First of all, I had a short, dark, curly hair in my food… DISGUSTING! So I finally get the waitress who takes my food and says«Yeah that’s nasty,» only to return with another plate of food. This wouldn’t have been as annoying, but my potatoes were cold, and the dumplings were mostly chicken chunks, and gravy. I think there may have been 10 actual dumplings in my dinner. The corn tasted terrible and bland, and normally it is pretty good. I drink a lot of soda when I eat, but still… the waitress only came back to drop off the bill and then was never seen again. After having terrible food WITHHAIRINIT, you would think she would be trying to kiss our hiney… nope just disappeared. No manager checking in to see how things were, nothing. I was pretty embarrassed that I had spent the half hour on our way there telling our friend how great the food and service are here only to have the worst experience we have ever had. I’m giving it a 2 because normally the food is good and so is the service, but last night’s experience is DEFINITELY a 1.

As with most Cracker Barrel stores, it is part restaurant and part merchandise. The Sunday afternoon fried chicken special is usually very good; the portions are large and the chicken is moist and tender. The restaurant can get quite crowded, with a waiting line for table, but the combination of good food and friendly service make it worth the wait.

I enjoy the biscuits with stone mill gravy the most. The store is always fun to look around at. The candy is sort of cheap and good. Breakfast food is good anytime of the day.

Friendly service, great meal for the price. Always a long wait but I guess good things are worth waiting for.

I have been to several Cracker Barrel’s on many occasions and this was exactly the same as the ones that are local to me. Pleasant staff, quick service and despite a large group of 10 we were seated within 5 minutes and despite having two waitresses, everything came out at the same time and was equally good. We all ordered from the breakfast menu around lunch time. In and out rather quickly with food as expected. My wife & I were dying just to have eggs and bacon, something we hadn’t had in several days due to our schedule as chaperones for our Indoor Drumline who were practicing excessively and competing at the WGI championships in Dayton.

I am a fan indeed! I enjoy perusing the cute little shop while waiting for a table and then again browsing on my way out. Prices are very reasonable and you can find some pretty neat finds. Onto the food… Their food is not 5 star but their service generally is. Food is classic comfort foods… fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, biscuits and the like. I love that they have a low-calorie menu to choose from. Their oven«fried» chicken is delicious. I do splurge and have the fried apples. I con myself into believing they are fruit therefore they are healthy. Hey it works for me! Overall we come here pretty frequently. They a generally pretty busy, particularly after church on Sunday. That’s ok though… shop the store while your hubby takes a load off on one of those rocking chairs. :)

Even at 2PM on a Saturday this place is packed. Try the Country Boy Breakfast with Virginia salt cured ham and eggs to order. Excellent! My waitress Alexis was absolutely great. She truly loves her job and it shows!

Wife and I come here about 3 times a month(she always says it feels like we’re on vacation when we eat here) breakfast is good and the chicken and dumplings are real good great tasting coffee good service. we only live about 2 miles from the place so it’s a short drive to get that vacation feeling. The only complaint is it’s very noisy.

The plus side, my cousin had a gift card so it didnt cost me anything. I like how they have a fireplace always burning real wood. We sat close to the fire. Best part of the morning. Our waitress was either new or had been doing that job too long to give a damn anymore. The service was as bad as the food. Its breakfast, early morning, people NEED coffee. She made us complete our order before she would even consider grabbing a pot. Strike one. Our food came and she lumped our biscuits together, tossed one bowl of gravy on the table and didnt give us a spoon. We used my father in laws spoon. We would have been better of without one. That gravy tasted like lumpy wet dough. No seasoning, no sausage, just thick, wet, dough. Im not a fan of «family style». If i ordered it, put it on my plate. Personal issue there but… Strike two. She dropped our check off about midway through the meal and that was the last time we ever saw her. Strike three. I guess if another friend has a free gift card I may find myself coming here again but it would have to be good friend. I prefer Bob Evans by far.

You can’t go wrong with chicken and dumplings, green beans, and hash brown casserole! The food is great, and the service is good.

Jim and I enjoyed our midday meal this afternoon. He had all you can eat fried cod and veggie soup and a nice grilled chicken salad. 60 and over made up the majority of diners.

A classic turn and burn operation — the parking lot is totally packed, the lobby/old time country/crap you don’t need but might buy because you’re stuck waiting for a table store is full, yet you get in with only a 10 minute wait… That’s probably because they ask you 3 times in about as many minutes if you’re ready to order as soon as you sit down, and then once you’re just about finished a busser stations him or herself just a few feet away from your table so they can spring into action the instant you step away. All of the above are irksome. Service wise the young lady helping us was pleasant enough and our food came fairly quickly considering the masses, but she disappeared for 15 minutes after the food was delivered and let us know she had been double sat and was unable to get back to us. Service fail. Why service fail? Because when our food arrived it was barely warm, and eggs are about the worst thing you can eat cold — especially medium eggs. The menu makes it sound like this is home cookin’ at its finest, but you get package creamer, packaged butter, and the icing on the cake — an individual serving, in a glass container, of syrup. Not sure how much more garbage they’d like to produce, but why not put syrup in its own container too while we’re at it. They should also try seasoning the french toast — dipping bread into egg and milk and cooking it a little isn’t cutting it. Ever heard of cinnamon? Nutmeg perhaps? Superbly mediocre food and service, cheesy atmosphere, and one of those things that we knew going in but figured we should try. I actually like dinner better, but only a little. Last resort or only when traveling.

The only thing I care about at Cracker Barrel is breakfast… their menu is so blah otherwise. I’ve visited so many different locations throughout the country and all I really care about is breakfast… delicious pancakes and yummy thick cut bacon… as far as everything else, it sucks. Trying to walk to the hostess is a very difficult task. You have to navigate the ridiculous amounts of trinkets that they try to sell you as well as other people… horrible layout. Once you are finally seated you have to deal with how loud this restaurant is… the same can be said about every location. The service is ok. nothing out of the ordinary. I’ve never encountered a nice waitress. they always seem pissed off at life. One thing that sucks at this location is the coffee… it is sooo weak! Super watery… it’s like they are using the same coffee grounds over and over… but in a city where there is no IHOP, I guess Cracker Barrel it is.
