Fuji Sushi

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE service here. We’ve gone several times for lunch when they haven’t been busy at all and they’ve been slow taking our orders, getting our food out to us, and getting us the check. This last time we went was the very last we’ll ever go. We showed up on a Friday night already knowing we’d have to wait but this time it was as if they just hired some random guy off the side of the road to be their host. He had no clue what he was doing and was so disorganized. No one greeted us. And once we were seated, we didn’t even get water until 15 minutes had gone by. They clearly don’t know how to run their restaurant efficiently.
The food is good but the service sucks.

Great service! Delicious food I love this place! I definitely will be back again. Every time I came here they always greet me with sunny smile, the waitress is so nice and cute.

Service was good. Shiso tacos and Mikey mouse were very good. Sashimi was fresh. We got the Godzilla and the cops cabana roll and didn’t really like either of them.

Good food, you can smell the freshness of the seafood. I order the firecrackers (spicy) and Geisha (Sweet). Both where definitely very good.
The ambiance is good, I chose a personalized booth, which is great for a date atmosphere. The service is very friendly. I would definitely come back again. Overall, good place to eat.

Great Sushi place. We come here often. I get the Kiss Roll without the Krab on top — instead I add more spicy tuna on top (Yum) they also have good Miso soup and a fresh house salad (get the dressing on the side)

My friends and me are really love this wonderful sushi place, we were so excited with new owner, they have so great fresh food and excellent service, we are make sure will come back soon, I love my Mermaid and Shiso taco

Really good sushi place in Centerville with fresh fish and high quality rolls.
This place is often packed on the weekend, so get there early!
Shiso tacos is a must try.
The restaurant has great atmosphere with awesome services.
you can pick from hot items from the kitchen, soups, salad, large plate for those that don’t like sushi. it’s perfect for a group to try different things and share it all.
Overall, great experience, and I would definitely come back!

This place was PHENOMENAL! This is the FIRST time i have ever written a review on any place so i am very pleased. The sushi had to be the BEST sushi we’ve eaten since we’ve moved to Utah from San Diego, CA. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly and attentive even when we came so close to closing. Also the amount of food you get for what you pay is great. I have recommended this place to all my friends already!

I can’t say enough good things about this little Gem. It’s always a pleasure coming here, the service has been great. The hostess has always been prompt to greet and seat me as soon as I walk in the door. The Chefs always serve up the finest cuts of fish and the servings have always been generous.
I love that this place is always clean, quiet and the booths offer just enough privacy to enjoy your meal and conversation, but not so much that you feel alienated from the restaurant.
The all you can eat deal is amazing! Finally I’m able to get my sushi fix without breaking the bank.
When I’m done with my meal and I’m stuffed, I’m already thinking about my next chance I’ll have at coming back soon!

We moved from Vegas to Kaysville about 3 months ago and have been extremely disappointed in customer service here so far. We are excited that our server was EXCELLENT tonight at Fuji Sushi!!! Attentive, quick to refill drinks and food arrived quickly. The restaurant felt good and was clean. The ONLY reason I’m not giving five stars, is because the sushi was all too much at room temperature. The flavor was good but the cold sushi should have been colder and the cooked rolls should have been hotter.
We will definitely be returning!!!

The sushi is great. The service is excellent. This is really great fresh sushi! We had the Sunset and Caterpillar roll. The sunset roll was my favorite, with a touch of lemon. Our waiter was Daniel. He is really on top of things. The hot Sake topped it all off. Don’t let the outside of this place fool you either. It’s very nice inside.

The service was amazing, their Gyoza was pretty good, and the chicken was very fresh. I enjoyed the sushi, and the service and overall experience made it a win. My wife loved it.

I’ve really enjoyed the sushi I have gotten here. My favourites include the Morris Roll (not on the menu), The Cowboy, and The Playboy. The octopus (I can’t remember what it’s called on the menu!) was slightly overcooked when I got it, making it extremely difficult to chew. Besides that, I have never had any complaints. Quaint atmosphere.

While this place is a bit of a pain to find, it’s worth the chore. If you can stay out of view of the extremely odd and out of place cabinetry in the front by the door, then the ambiance is very nice, particularly in the enclosed booths. It’s a pretty cool place to chill and hang out and the green tea was excellent enough to allow that, which I find more and more lately, is a major, major component of that… at least in Asian places.
The calamari was a miss, as were the sauces for it. You can safely skip those and not miss anything. Very pedestrian and I’m willing to hazard a bet came fresh from frozen. The sushi was considerably better, nearly universally well constructed and executed, to the point where several needed little, if any, accompaniment. It’s very nice to find places like that, where the sushi can breathe and the ingredients can mesh and marry in a happy harmony, unlike the places that nearly require a dose of soy sauce and/​or ginger on top to continue on with.
Frankly, it was surprising to find a place of this caliber in Centerville. While not competition for the heavy hitters of Salt Lake or Tona in Ogden, it definitely supercedes everything south of the Tsunami before the Point. With some very solid interior guidance and possibly some menu tweaks, this easily could be competition for those places I mentioned and is definitely the best bet between downtown and Ogden… service was pretty good overall as well. Definitely a nice surprise.

Everything was perfect. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food. Best sushi I’ve had in a long, long time. The prices are phenomenal for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend the pink lady roll. If you’re in or around the Centerville area and looking for great sushi, make this the place.

I will give this place another try and am glad I found it, however I won’t say it is the best or worst sushi I have had. There were highlights — the crazy tuna roll, specifically the pepper tuna on it was divine and when I asked for some rice for my 10 month old they gave it at no cost. And there were lows — the salad was swimming in dressing (enough for 4 salads!) and the philly roll was off (I can’t put my finger on why but it didn’t taste right).
I will definitely try Fuji sushi one more time and will be ordering an appetizer of pepper tuna and some different rolls.

One of my favorite places to eat! Try the hawii if u like sweet rolls. Really everything is delish, good services and great portion Size

My husband loves the yummy roll I love the dynamite and angle we always finish with the sunset roll! This place is always our go to!

THEY DO NOT SKIMP ON ANY INGREDIENTS!!! every roll is filled and jam packed with raw fish and other wonderful ingredients. Angel, caterpillar, and playboy are my favorite.

Great service and the sushi is pretty good! I usually the shiso tacos for appetizers! Mmmmm
