Worst place!!! Uncomfortable beds. Bubbling paint on the counter. Yes they painted the counter tops. No hot water only warm. The room stunk like cleaner mixed with gas. Toilet wouldn’t flush. You might ask why I stayed? I am a heavy hauler. I haul large equipment and were not allowed to move when it gets dark. Well I got stuck in traffic which put met out past dark. This was the only place available. You can bet this won’t happen again. At least not here!

My company decided to put us up at this motel for a night. Super 8 is usually not too bad as far as value and the smell of Curry is always a plus and they got a nice little light breakfast if you like cereal, toast, oatmeal and cheap danish. The price is usually right so 16 of us from my company stayed therethere for one night and as usual we have a bunch of smokers and of course there’s no smoking in the rooms we were warned to stay 20 feet from the doors which we did for the most part. There is a $ 250 fine for smoking in the rooms. We have couple of guys that smoke pot but for the most part we we’re good about smoking cigarettes outside. So we check out and Indian owner decided he was not going to give us a receipt which was kind of odd. Its imperative to turn into a company to get reimbursed we were a little agitated he was not forthcoming with that so it turns out he decide to charges $ 250 per rooml for smoking in the rooms so I’m pretty sure that’s a great way for him to make some extra money and he’s got us by the balls because he has our credit card and he wasn’t afraid to use it. So the guy is definitely a thief. So he gets us for 1500.00. So it turns out there isnt much recourse for us and he gets paid. There’s another super 8 in Richmond that was much nicer and far more hospitable. This isnt the first time I have smelled curry while being ripped off. i have been transformed into a bigot i am afraid.

Room was what you would expect from a super 8. Nothing fancy but clean and spacious. It did have a small microwave and mini fridge along with basic cable. What put it over the top was service. I got food poisoning while on the road(see applebees review for those exciting details) and the girl at the desk pulled a rush job to have the maids clean a room I could check into at 8 am and recover. The staff was friendly and got me what I needed, access to a bed and a bathroom until I felt better.

I cannot recommend this motel. I have no idea how this can be a Super 8!!! Maybe that is part of the problem; Super 8 has lowered their standards. They are charging the same price as other motels but you get a lot less. There are so many problems it is too many to list here. The only reason they stay in business is because there is no other place to stay in the vicinity for people to stay. The standard for cleaning is way below the normal for any motel. Super 8 needs to shut this motel down and require a complete renovation.

I was on a road trip and was shocked to see a billboard for a Super 8 room starting at $ 37.99. We got here and the room was $ 79.99(it was a Friday, I get it). But with tax it came to $ 90 for a room with a sticky and damp rug, no shampoo or conditioner, some outlets didn’t work, toilet hardly flushed, shower head was dripping, there were mouse droppings or something on the bathroom floor, a flea(only saw one so I can’t say fleas). The sheets were stained and they didn’t even have fitted sheets on the bed just a top sheet tucked in underneath another top sheet. The room also had a weird smell. The only reason we stayed there was because we had been driving all day and really needed sleep. It was really difficult for us to get into the bed and fall asleep. I will definitely not be staying here ever again! The reason it got a 2 instead of a 1 is because I was able to sleep, I didn’t die and my stuff in my car/uhaul wasn’t stolen.

Driving on a road trip and seeing that there was nothing for a few exits on i70 east bound this is the first and only super8 we saw in about 3 exits. The place is old and the sheets that was on my bed seemed to be dirty or with oil stains that were never washed out. My friend bottom sleet had cigarette holes in it. Although the place is somewhat decent to some of the motels I have stayed in, it’s in need of a update on the bed a d the carpet and most of all the bathroom. It’s also missing some of the shampoos and other adminities that are standard in super 8. It’s a ok place to crash for a night if your really tired but if you can keep driving its better if you go forward or stopped three stops back. Lets not even go and talk about the hot breakfast… There is prob a Waffle House or Cracker Barrel in a few more exit. And the price for a January was steep for its adminities 66 dollars for one night… I think I later priced out the comfort in it was 58 down the road. Needless to say if ur on a road trip and but your start hallucinate its time to stop and it wouldn’t matter it’s still a safe place.

I stopped here late one night in need of rest and was happy with what I got. My room was inexpensive and my sheets weren’t dirty like the other reviewers. There’s also free wifi and free continental breakfast. I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I was making another long drive.

This place is plain nasty. My room was visibly dirty, the shower and toilet(!) in particular. My «non-smoking» room reeked of smoke; even the pillows on the bed smelled. The sheets were strangely sticky. I understand that this is a cheap hotel, but no hotel, no matter how cheap, should be this filthy.
