Awful experience. The sales people lied about taking my insurance. I waited over an hour for my appointment. They tried to make me pay for an eye exam my insurance covered. Also they never called or texted to let me know my glasses were ready. When I went to pick up my glasses they asked to confirm my telephone number to see why I didn’t get the text message. It was correct. I called corporate and they never followed up on my phone call. They too were surprised that they said they took my insurance because even he knew they didn’t take It.

The customer service for shopping was okay. However, do not let them make your glasses and mail them afterward! I went to their store on last Tuesday(7 days ago), they said they would finish the glasses on Wednesday and send them to me(in Manhattan, New York) by UPS mail, which will arrive on Thursday. However, I did not receive the package on Friday and then called them. They said they just mailed the package minutes ago and will send me a tracking number after the calling. That number never come. On yesterday, Monday, I called again, they gave me a tracking number, which shows a mailing label was created on Friday, but UPS never received the package(which means they still haven’t sent it out). The women answering the phone said they definitely had sent it on Thursday(while on last Friday, she said they«just» mailed it, and the tracking number says the mailing label was created on Friday), and there must some problem with UPS. She will call UPS and get back to me. However, again, she never calls me back. When I check the tracking number this morning, it shows UPS received the package on last night, half an hour after my call, which means they finally sent the package after two of my phone calls, while lied to me that they already sent it five days ago. I will never recommend people from NYC to go to their outlet store to buy glasses and have them mailed. The customer service on phone call and mailing is just horrible!
