Did I just go back in time to 1987? No I just went into Eddie Bauer. This is definitely a store for the over 50 set. Boring clothes and I didn’t see many discounted bargains here. Yawn!!! I did fall asleep while looking through their shirts.

Sometimes you come here and find the killerest deal on an amazing jacket — which is all I’m looking for when I come here… though I did find boots once that are so caveman, I’m sure a woolly mammoth was killed to make it, it’s amazing ;) ;) ;) Didn’t find anything in sales/clearance racks — not much in my size(XS, Small maybe). Husband did find a bunch of cargo-type shorts he was looking for though, so he was a happy camper. Decently priced as well.

The Eddie Bauer label graces some great outdoor clothing and gear; usually with high-end pricing to match. This location is a company«outlet» store– so one would expect to find bargain-bin prices on overstocked, discontinued, or blemished goods and the like, right? Not quite. It’s really just another retail store, but with perhaps more frequent sale pricing in effect. Gear such as backpacks and travel accessories are also sold here. There are some great values to be found at this store on occasion, especially in the back corner ‘clearance’ section, but I can never count on finding a bargain here on any given day. On my most recent visit, a garment that I had previously purchased for about $ 30 on clearance had been restocked and was selling for $ 70. Guess it’s worthwhile to stop in and see what they’ve got once in awhile if I’m in the area, but not worth going out my way to shop here.
