This was my first visit to a Helly-Hansen store, which is located in the Centralia outlets. Store was decent size with a good selection of outerwear — especially raincoats. How appropriate for the Seattle and Portland weather! There was also a selection of shoes in the back of the store. Signs indicated that prices were 30 to 50% off retail price. I did not buy anything during this visit, but the clothing looks nice and of good quality. Parking was plentiful. Easy access getting back on I-5.

I like how Amanda used the term«pee-my-pants excited» because by the time we got down there I had nearly pee’d my pants… After I used the WC, we found our way into the Helly Hansen outlet store… and Oh My God!!! Granted this isnt the largest Helly Hansen… but it is an outlet, so I was expecting stuff that was from last year etc. The finds that I managed to score were from this season… in fact I am sure I saw some of the stuff at the Helly Hansen Store at Alderwood last time I was there. I am amazed that I spend under 300 bucks there. I had scoped out everything I wanted to buy to get ready for the snow, and it was looking like I was going to have to spend 600 – 700 bucks to get some decent stuff. This was amazing. Absolutely amazing. «What did you get for under 300 bucks?» I know this is probably the first question on your mind… either that or «what’s your sign?» so I will answer the first one. I got a snowsuit for my son(under $ 40!!) A jacket, skipants, my underlayers to keep me dry/warm, a fleece jacket, goggles for both my son and I. I think the only thing I didn’t get was a hat and gloves… which I will find this week. I love it! This place is definately worth the add to the enjoyment… you can shop and then dine at Burgerville after!!!

How do I put this delicately, and without sounding pee-my-pants excited? Ah screw it, I can’t! I LOVE this store. I go here for all my outdoor clothing needs, well, not all, but some: boarding pants and winter jackets. It may be an 80+ mile trek from Seattle, but I usually stop on the way home from Portland so it’s not that big of an inconvenience. This store has current-season Helly Hansen merchandise at amazingly cheap prices. These aren’t factory seconds or anything, they’re just excess, and they are red hot buys. Yesterday I got: a ski jacket, two pairs of boarding pants, a windbreaker that I’ll use while hiking come spring/summer, shirt and pant base layer. I paid only $ 252 for all of that. Based on the tag price, which is what you’d pay at one of their regular, mall stores I would’ve paid $ 252 for just the jacket and one of the piece of base layer. THAT is a steal, folks. I’m sure I saved well over $ 500 by making the trek down here. Oh so worth it. If you’re a Helly Hansen lover, like I am, this is worth a stop.
