Always so good!!! You can’t go wrong, everything tastes so fresh and authentic. Service is good. Always looks clean & no dirty tables left sitting.

I love their menudo. It is on point. I just wished they would give me more of thr side items that go in the menudo. I highly recommend this resturant. Also they make delicious carne asada nachos, pretty darn good. Great customer service, very friendly staff.

I came in through drive-thru around 9:45 then ordered one chicken enchilada and one cheese enchilada. when I got home around ten I noticed I got two beef enchiladas. I called back and the woman said they were closed so they wouldn’t offer me a remake or refund. The least she could have done was let me come back the next day for the enchiladas I originally ordered. She just said that there was nothing she can do. Bad customer service.

Carne Asada fries are just a drive thru away! Maria’s has some of the best Mexican food in the Ceres/Modesto area.

It is so dirty in here we didn’t even eat our over priced meal! We just got up & left all of our food sitting on the dirty plates they were served on! Even the basket that held the chips was dirty! Gross. I’ll never go here again.

Well, I have picked out a favorite dish and I haven’t tried anything else on the menu, yet! The menu is varied so there is a lot to choose from. On a friends recommendation I had a chorizo and egg burrito and that’s all I’ve had(on five different occasions) from this shop. Some day I’ll order something else and can revise my review. But for now, the burrito is a decent size for the price and is always hot. I like that they have a drive thru, but I always go inside so I can choose a salsa for my burrito. I order to-go and they usually offer chips, which I gladly take. I’m not sure how long it should take to cook my order, but I seem to have to wait longer than I would expect. Of course, good things come…

Drive thru Mexican food that’s not Taco Bell for the win. Extensive menu . Decent pricing A little on the slow side The two tacos I got were horrible and tasted stale but all the other food was decent . I would go here again

I got the nachos supreme with beef, the cheese wasn’t melted and the meat tasted old. They didn’t even put much beans on there it was disappointing. And I ordered a side of guacamole which was brown. Yuck! I also got 2 taco truck tacos not worth it. The food just wasn’t good. And it was expensive $ 13. I definitely won’t be back anytime soon.

I was hoping for greatness, and I only found a satisfactory experience. Hopefully, there are better places in Ceres, especially since there are two Mexican places between this location and SR99 – and much more along Mitchell Road. It’s in the same shopping center with Dollar General Market and it’s close to the skate park, meaning that I pass it quite a lot. I’ve had it bookmarked probably since October or November. They have a drive-thru, and from what I learned later, it was incredibly busy. The dining room is big enough, though not as clean as I’d hoped. I took a while to view the menu. I ended up with the number 12 combination – fish tacos, rice, and beans. You can order meat instead of fish. I also ordered a Jarritos Limón. It came to just under $ 12.00. While that isn’t horrible, I didn’t expect to be over $ 10.00 – the rice and beans put me over the top. Elsewhere, when I order rice, they charge me $ 2.25 or thereabouts. She asked if I wanted chips and I did not. Since I make my own at home, I almost always find those at restaurants to be not very good. They just seem to be filler. In fact, after I sat down, I noticed that they had stacks and stacks and stacks of the chips under the heating lamps. Is that fresh or what? She brought out my food after a while – the drive-thru was BUSY. There was a lot of food. As is typical with fish tacos, they are made with medium-sized tortillas, instead of the tiny tortillas you expect normally in California. Everything was good, but it wasn’t great by any means. They did have two tortillas per taco, so they didn’t skimp. The fish tacos used a white sauce, but it didn’t seem to be mayonnaise-based. The taste wasn’t any better though. I think I’m still happier with a typical salsa, instead of any white sauce. The rice and beans were surprisingly good. I can only say that the experience was satisfactory. Maybe, some of the other selections would have been better for me. I don’t see a reason to return, unfortunately.

We order number 1, nachos supreme and a burrito. First of all I said no tomatoes on the nachos I open them and boom tomatoes!!! Also number said enchilada taco, my fiancé open that and boom Chile relleno wtf! He was upset that we spend 25 dollars and got everything wrong. I ate my nachos they were okay but my fiancé not happy at all. Please get it together!!! This was our first time there we just moved here.

Delicious food, friendly staff, good prices. Sometimes a bit slow in the drive-through, usually pretty decent times. Recommend the Carnitas here – very delicious.

It’s a very small shop and the drive-thru is a bit off. You can’t pull right into the drive-thru since there’s no entry/exit. You literally drive in and make a sharp u-turn. I had to wait for about seven minutes to place my order bi ended up calling them and telling them that they had a line in their drive-thru. They were nice enough to give me a free drink. Food was decent. I always love their nachos with two different types of chips and their hot salsa. Horchatas are always yummy not at all watered down.

The first time I came here was through drive through. They service was quick, fast, and the lady even hooked it up with fresh chips. Usually anything to-go at the orangeburge location chips are not included. This first time around the chicken burrito was beeping delicious! The frilled chicken burrito with everything was ! —- The second time I came here was at night. I could have sworn they were open, I was there 30 minutes until 10pm closing. Their OPEN sign was flashing, I was assuming the inside was close and the drive-thru was open. Waited there for a good 5 minutes, circled around the shop, came back to drive thru and, damn i guess they closed 30 minutes early without a sign up and OPEN sign still on… starved and annoyed. —- Third time here, was today. Ordered the usual Grilled Chicken burrito with everything inside. The burrito lacked so much flavor. I couldn’t pin point what it was missing. The avocado they now use is a sauce type, it was pretty watered down, I couldn’t taste to avocado at all. The chicken had no taste. The entire burrito was basically refried beans, barely any rice. The condiments was missing something, all the sauce taste the same, couldn’t distinguish the spicy content. —– Pros: Always great service and clean eating area Cons: 1. What’s up with the cheap avocado sauce? WEWANTTHEREALAVOCADO. 2. Less refried beans, and more rice. 35⁄35 and the rest chicken please! Maybe that guy was right about the«need to learn from the original» shop(orangeburg location).

Best place in ceres to get your Carne Asada fries. The employees are always nice and try to get you in and out as soon as possible. The drive thru is a plus. I haven’t tried anything other than the carne Asada fries here but let’s be real I don’t need anything else lol. It’s a little hole in the wall in Ceres that’s worth your time. They give you free chips and salsa :) haha.

You really need to know what to order here to get something good. Asada tacos, asada fries, any taco, sopas, nachos, guacamole, chips and cabbage salsa are the only menu items I’ve had success with. I’ve had items that where straight up horrible and inedible. Stick with the items I listed and you’ll be very pleased.

Awesome place. The tacos and burritos are good! And the price is really low compared to the taquerias in san Jose. Cheap kids meals too.

This Maria’s is a notch above the others in this chain. Very friendly service. Offered us free chips, which is something that the locations in Merced and Atwater don’t do.
