Every time I come to this place I’m baffled that I continue to come back. There is another Starbucks just a mile away and it would be well worth your gas and time to go get your coffee there to avoid coming to this Starbucks. I’ve been through the drive-through about half a dozen times now and every time the lack of customer service is beyond understanding. Nothing is wrong with the coffee or the product or how fast they get it out to you. The problem is just the basic fundamentals of customer service. They don’t say hi to you, nobody smiles, the second your vehicle comes to a stop at the speaker the barista promptly says«what would you like?» Without the slightest effort to build rapport. Now I understand that some customers may prefer a no Smalltalk kind a process but the mass majority of people still like to believe that their patronage is appreciated. The worst part of this type of problem is that it’s not a result of execution it’s a result of simply not caring enough to do it.

Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to more than just a few all along the West AND East Coast. I’ve been enrolled in the Rewards program for over 4 years now, so I’m pretty well versed in how the not so intricate system works. I’m used to getting my free birthday reward loaded on my card a week or so before my bday as it has been in years past. My bday was on the 27th and I’d been checking for the Reward on my app for over a week. When my bday came and went and I had no reward, I just chalked it up to Starbucks getting rid of the feature as part of this new rewards program they tout. So I was extremely surprised when I got an email yesterday(the 29th) saying the next drink was on Starbucks for my bday. I check my app and realize I still don’t see the reward but I figure it’s no big deal coz Starbucks has always(till I visited this location) been about doing right by the customer. I go into this store and the cashier doesn’t know what to do since the bday reward is only good till the date of your bday but I showed him the email I received with the date and time stamp on it also. So he asks the incompetent supervisor fellow who teaches me all about how the bday reward is only good until your actual bday and now it’s too late, blah, blah, blah. I reiterate that this is not my first rodeo with Starbucks’ so called Rewards program and it is not my fault that they sent me the email 2 days after the fact and STILL have not loaded the stupid free bday drink reward on my card. He suggests that it may be that my email just didn’t refresh in a timely manner… uhhhhh…riiiiight…my gmail has a 2 day time delay. Sure… it’s Google’s fault and not anything to do with the possibility that Starbucks’ fan-dangled new program may have some bugs they need to work out. So after being made to feel like I was trying to cheat Starbucks out of a free cup of coffee, the original cashier obviously saw the disappointment on my face and said he will just take care of it. By that point, I wanted nothing to do with an establishment that makes a loyal customer, who has spent thousands of $s in their stores over the years, feel so cheap like I was trying to swindle a free drink out of them. This store, evidently(from other reviews as well), has poor excuse for management and it clearly shows in what people have to say. Your coffee is just coffee… the experience you create for customers is why people come back. You guys completely fail in that aspect. Thank you to the cashier who tried to right the situation… unfortunately, the guy you asked for assistance has ruined Starbucks for me. Ceres is a small town… I’ll be sure to share about my experience to folks I know there.

This Starbucks is the closest to my house and practically next door to my gym. I enjoy studying here as well as getting my pre-workout and post-workout drinks. All the baristas I have encountered have been patient, kind, and had great work-ethic. I was out of state for a month and when I came back I was pleasantly surprised to find the inside of this Starbucks was renovated. It became more spacious and had more room for studying and causal meet-ups. The drive-thru is very efficient!

Talk about bad and gloomy service. My money and time are better spent at McDonalds across the street. At least they look happy, treat the customers great and have better positive energy and customer service than the employees I came in contact with this morning at Starbucks. This location has such bad customer service, bad energy and negative vibes. Inside staff looked rushed, not connecting with customers, in their own world. No comraderie seen. What heppened? You guys can do better, I’ve seen it. Be better. Or you risk losing more customers like myself.

Every time I come here I know I’ve made a mistake not to go to any other Starbucks besides here. This one is close to the house so sometimes I have no choice. Hands down the worse Starbucks. I’d rather have went to mc Donald’s to get coffee. Customer service sucks it’s just they don’t know how to make good coffee. It always taste like water. You can’t even taste the coffee. I know it’s not just on certain days, but every time it never fails to get burnt bagels you can’t chew and coffee/water. I try to avoid this place as possible.

I love my Latte with an extra shot. I even got myself a Starbucks card, and put some money on it, for those times that I don’t have any extra cash on hand, for my caffeine. love the iced lattes with a topping and some cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Favorite Starbucks, they always remember my name and drink and always take up a conversation with me, even though they don’t have too. All of the girls are so pretty and nice and the manager Mallory is amazing too. Best Starbucks ever!!!

Ima busy mom running around and desperately need my fix. I come through here several times a week. I always do the drive through since I have two babies with me. Normally I wouldn’t even complain but I’m hoping Starbucks may want to remedy this! Coffee is literally something that makes me happy and what a huge disappointment to receive this drink. I’m paying inflated prices and should. E receiving what I ask for. I have no time to run in n complain. I had already sat in line forever!!! My order was a grande iced americano … Light cream n sugar free vanilla. What I received was a cup of fricken creamer!!! I hope someone tries to make this right… Not happy

This is by far the best Starbucks I have ever been too. The staff is always giving their best while working. I’ve never been to a different location and been 100% satisfied like I would be here. My dad comes in every single day and the minute he parks up his coffee is ready. I come in a lot also and they all remember my name and drink, very good locations no one compares.

Currently sitting at this Starbucks right now, I usually always come through the the drive thru & they’re pretty fast but today Elise at the cashier was EXTREMELYRUDE& not just the first time I ordered but also the second the time when I went to inquire about my drink because it tasted so bitter. The first time I asked for caramel drizzle and she basically barked at me «well that’s an extra 60 cents.» The second time, I asked her if I can get it remade & she started telling me why it’s bitter because it’s mostly«coffee» I have never been told this at Starbucks. Starbucks has a barista’s promise that states they remake any drink if it is not up to their standards. Not only was her tone rude but she was rolling her eyes at me which pissed me off. Never have I received such terrible customers service. She acted as if she knew everything & made me feel stupid all because I did not like my drink. Never coming to this Starbucks again.

My mom goes to this Starbucks almost every day and they never fail to impress me with their service. They know her by name and always have her drink ready. Any time she has had any issues, they immediately fix it for her. Everyone is human, so mistakes are made occasionally. Their service more than makes up for any of that

You pay extra $$ for friendly customer service. This local rarely provides that. Worth the drive to go to the Starbucks on Herndon. CHECK your order at the drive thru there, not the first time today they mess it up.

my favorite starbucks, some of the employees started recognizing my sister and i at the drive thru every morning: blush: they’ve offer us a buy one get one deal for next time on certain drinks a few times. total customer appreciation and nice staff. the parking lot gets wierd and crowded at times if you go down –just a heads up

It’s true that Starbucks is Starbucks – that being said, I feel this particular SB has an efficient and pleasant drive-thru service. The few times that I have gone in store have been unremarkable. This last time, the barista I had was in training so the process was a bit slow and awkward but I was not particularly in a hurry. Less one star because they were out of low-fat milk and their half-half cream was also running low.
