I giving B&B 5 stars based on their glaze round donut and chocolate bar. Omg, so amazingly chewy and delicious. I grew up with B&B donuts and didn’t appreciate them until I moved away for college. Donuts in other towns I’ve lived in are not good! B&B may not have the looks, but love their donuts.

This place, despite it’s drab and blight, serves up very strong memories of youth. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. When I was about 6, I would walk with my sister and our recycling money, having earned it at the local composting machines at the neighborhood grocery store(to what was called Lucky’s back then). Once through with lugging cans and bottles, we would walk back with an empty onion bag in hand. With all this new found freedom of wealth, we could look forward the joys of sweet capitalism that happened to be conveniently on our way home. Between feeling the jingle of change in my pocket and arguing with my sister as to which donuts to get between the $ 1.40 between us, I shared a tasted, tried, and true memory here on several trips. Despite everything else I could consider about B&B, I wouldn’t trade these experiences for anything else in the world. It has a beloved bias attached to it, having served me(and my arteries) so well with buttermilk bars, bear claws, cinnamon rolls, sugar crusted and glazed twisted, and sprinkled donuts. B&B offers the cheapest donuts around, and you get what you pay for. In comparison to many gouging donut shops in LA, you’ll pay 85 cents for a twist and about a buck-fifty for something bigger than a cinnamon roll. Coffee, made every hour starts at $ 1.10 and is what coffee was before coffee. They are straight forward in offerings, and don’t cater to the new-age garbage we’ve all become accustomed to(endlessly) gleam about. B&B is an old-school institution to this neighborhood, having been under the same ownership for over 25 years, and here since the 1970s. Way to go, old donut shop guy, for sticking to your guns. It’s your old school donut shop and stop, where cops used to hang out and recent high-school graduates loiter with retirees. No sir, you won’t find that friend with skinny jeans, jeggings, dolphin shorts, or an undercut here. Just simple folk. Parking is always an easy thing around this neck of the woods, even with the famed Cho Dang Tofu house next door and Bank of America flux. It’s right off the 91 Freeway’s Norwalk exit too. This donut shop isn’t going anywhere, and it’s certainly not going to look any better. It’s what has become of many American donut shops with their sticky veneer countertops, and aging equipment. It’s the pit stop for those who can see past that, and find beauty for more than just a good, cheap donut. For it’s nostalgia and much more, it’s the type of place you can find me at 3:00 a.m. getting a freshly made donut, or just harvesting old energies and joyed senses.

The best buttermilk donut anywhere! It’s like cake and very hard to find at other shops. Not even the chain ones make them. Best donuts around since I’ve been a kid. They are all good. I’ll always be partial to my childhood neighborhood donut shop. And you always get some free donut holes.

I went there yesterday and got 12 donuts, and everyone in my family loved them! The donuts included maple bars, buttermilk, and a chocolate rainbow sprinkle donut. I like how it feels welcome in the shop but there is little seating. It is family friendly and professional.

I have to say, my last three experiences at B&B left me highly unsatisfied(that is, donut unfinished) due to horrific donut quality :(I know they changed owners a few years back. Maybe I’m ordering the wrong thing or maybe there’s something wrong with their frying oil, I just couldn’t let my six year old review sit and represent any longer.

It’s nearly 4PM and I’m sitting here eating a ham and cheese croissant and I have a donut twist waiting for me. The place is simple, clean and the owners are friendly. I walked in through the door and instantly the owner came from the back and greeted me. Warmed up my croissant and bagged my donut and was kind enough to toss in some donut holes. The ham and cheese croissant was huge, flakey, and fluffy and filling, the price wasn’t bad either! It was under 3 bucks. Let talk donuts now(for the sake of the review I did have to sacrifice my diet –yea right lol) melt in your mouth! They are soft and fresh, wow and this is that remember it’s almost 4PM. Try the cinnamon twist, you wont regret it. I’m one happy customer and will be returning and satisfying more of my pregnancy cravings here.

Ham and cheese croissants are the best here! One time, we came here after going out clubbing and the owner says the ham and cheese croissants would be out the oven soon. So we waited for about 20 min and oh my god. They were so good fresh! Usually the croissant gets kinda flat and deflated(not a sign of a bad ham and cheese croissant– there’s just no other way bc the heat and moisture from the ham and cheese suck the pastry in), but the fresh, ones were nice and fluffy. Omg I am laying in bed hungry right thinking about food and started craving a ham and cheese croissant and thought of this place. Thus the review. Donut holes here are good too! Sometimes the owner throws in more than you buy.

I know it’s just another mom and pop donut shop, but it’s one of the better ones that I’ve encountered during my lifetime. A great selection of donuts and they even have a crumb cinammon swirl donut(blending of my favorite two kinds of donuts). I’ve been here numerous times and each time, I’ve been satisfied with my purchases. Their donuts are very soft and tasty and always taste like they came fresh from the oven. They also have a good selection of drinks and a variety of other items such as sandwiches, croissants, and lottery tickets. Another great thing about B & B are the very friendly people who work there. I always try to stop and grab a donut or two every time i’m in the area. And I believe they are open 24 hours which is another good thing.

Spotted B & B Donut upon exiting from Cho Dang Tofu House so decided to give it a try. It’s a standard donut shop with regular selection of donuts. During these situations I tend to procrastinate a lot but the lady behind the counter was very patient. I finally decided to go with the basics so got a simple chocolate iced donut along with a chocolate bar(75c each). I was almost done but then I saw that they had cronuts which looked pretty good for a very reasonable price of $ 1.50. In the era of cronuts that go for 6 bucks a pop, I decided to get a simple glazed cronut. In the comfort of my car I started with a bite of the chocolate iced donut — not good — supermarket quality, then went on to a bite of the chocolate bar — same result. This was turning out to be a flop show. Anyway expecting the worst I dug into the cronut — not bad, no in-fact pretty good. Layers of light flaky dough fried to perfection. No lumpy or doughy feeling. This cronut would give their gourmet cousins a run for their money so the cronut saved the day for B & B Donuts :)

Honestly, this is one of the millions of mom and pop donut shops that you would not rush to seek out, unless you needed a sugar fix and this was all there was. Well, adding a CRONUT to their offerings sure makes a big difference. I was too late(saturday around 2) and they were sold out. Boooo… Only $ 1.50 for one here, which is by far the cheapest I have seen. The owner was super sweet and I didn’t want to just walk out so I picked my usual fav, a custard filled, chocolate topped, 85 cent. Meh…it was your average donut, could get the same taste at the supermarket. Nothing stood out in flavor as well as not tasting super fresh or soft. Extra star for offering cronuts and good service.

I DONUT know why your hating on them! I like this place. It’s family owned and they work their butts off in here. I was introduced to this donut place many, many, many moons ago when I was in college. I have always had a great experience with them and I have had more than the donuts here. EVERYTIME I have bought donuts here they are always fresh and NOTDRY! In fact if you come early enough they are even better warm. They also have pretty good coffee. I don’t know what kind it is but it taste fine to me and does the job which is to wake me up so I can drive my car. I have also had a chance to taste there croissants and they were not bad at all. I had the one with ham and cheese once and it was waaay better then the plain olé croissant. Flakey and buttery just like it should be. Once in awhile I’d get a muffin or Danish and they were both ok but I really like there donuts. I haven’t been here in a very long time because I think I may have out grown donuts if that is even possible and I don’t tend to come this way in the morning for work. Maybe I’ll stop by one Friday and pick up a dozen for my office. Like another reviewer said try them out for yourself. GO in the morning when everything is fresh.

I donut why people are complaining about the people being weird; it’s a donut shop that’s open 24 hours. Enough said. I’ve only picked up donuts from here early before work, so they taste pretty fresh and fluffy. I usually prefer the chocolate bars and the chocolate frosting or whatever is just enough — not too thick and sugary but a nice thin crispy layer of it. I usually pick up a dozen or so for work and they are always gone by the time lunch rolls around. I think that’s a pretty good indication of the level of tastiness.

The old fashioned maple syrup was a little to sweet/syrupy for my taste. The«dosaint» was decent. Def not«cronut» material.

I use to come here more often, since it nearby. I don’t really go for their donuts anymore, however they are decent and totally edible. I only sometimes come here for some thai tea, lots of ice/sugar/caffeine. Yum…

This place is practically open 24 hours. Sometimes my friends go there and hang out until sunrise playing cards. They have a spacious sitting area but no public bathroom. Although they make a wide selection of donuts, they are a bit too dry, but it could be because they’ve been sitting out for a while, since I’ve only ever been here at night. My last visit was close to midnight on a Thursday. On my way home on the 91, I decided to pick up a box of donuts for my co-worker. This place is just off the 91 and Norwalk, so it was a convenient stop. They were open, but no one was at the front of the shop. As I entered the store, I made a disturbing discovery. The TV was on, which faced away from the customer’s view, and from the sound of it… let’s just say it’s something that shouldn’t be watched in a place of business. I turned and left right away. Hopefully this was just a creepy one-time incident, but I’m not going to go back and find out.

To keep it simple, I’ve been a fan of this place since forever. People are friendly, doughnuts are consistent; tender crumb, soft, and chewy. Like I always say, YOUWON’T KNOWUNLESSYOUTRYITFORYOURSELF!

I walk over here when I do not feel like having any Filipino sweets somewhere else at this strip mall. The donuts are satisfactory. No particular one stands out here. They are all just okay enough. It is a convenient place to stop in, and the staff is fine.

This B & B has been here for quite some time and it hasn’t changed much over the years. I really like how it is open practically 24/7, which makes it a great place to chill late at night or if you need to pull an all-nighter studying. their donuts are good enough, you should just try to catch them when they just make fresh donuts. Although, they will hook you up if you’re a regular so keep that in mind. you cant really complain much about a donut shop open 24/7, and also you should bring some cash because they are cash only.
