Love Blaze! This location has a great staff who is really on top of their game, they loved through the lines quickly and my pizza was perfect! I grabbed a salad to go as well and it was fresh and nicely assembled. Prices are more than fair, $ 8 for each the pizza and the salad, plenty for two meals. Plenty of seating, clean and bright restaurant, perfect place to take kids and picky eaters!

Staff was friendly. I loved the pizza crust compared to pieology(pieology usually is soggy). If you like the pesto drizzle I recommend to get it on the side because it does look a little oily and doesn’t have that much flavor. But overall pizza was good

I was excited to come in and experience Blaze Pizza after hearing so much about it. The employees greeted me right away by shouting«Welcome to Blaze Pizza!» when I entered the door. I was given a quick run down of the menu, and then was ready to start ordering my unlimited topping pizza! Every item looked fresh and they had a great selection of meats, cheeses, and other toppings. The employee helping me was gracious throughout my decision making process. I chose to have the spicy marinara because I heard it was good, and most pizza places do not offer it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a little more flavor. I chose 3 cheeses and 3 meats, and I felt like they gave me a small amount of each. I was excited to see their assortment of veggies such as zucchini and roasted red peppers. They also had whole roasted garlic cloves, which I would prefer to be in smaller prices. I ordered my pizza to go and was a little disappointed when I actually ate it. The crust was crispy on the outside, but the base of the pizza was soft. I felt it could have been cooked more. I love pesto but I did not like the pesto they had, when the employee put it on the pizza it looked very oily and it created oil pools on my pizza. Seriously gross and I could have gone without it. The pizza was not bad, but I would prefer other quick service pizza places before Blaze.

Came here after hearing all the rave reviews from my co workers. I already ate next door at Pier 76 so I grabbed a pizza to go to eat later at work. Nice customizable pizza and good size especially for the price! This place is going to give Pizza Hut and dominos a run for their money! Can’t compare this to pieology or any other build your own pizza since this was my first time experiencing one. You can choose one of their pizza flavor concepts and add on or take away any ingredients you don’t want without having the price change! I love that!

Blaze is starting to pop up in a lot of areas and I would assume they’re all similar. It’s good for a faster alternative than other craft pizza places. It’s very much like a «Chipotle Style» ordering process. You can pack on as many toppings as your heart desires because the price is still 7.95. I took off the one star because I ordered the green stripe signature pizza and it included the arugula, which I did not receive. I was really bummed about that.

Blaze has got to be one of my favorite create your own pizza places out of all the other spots because their crust is really crispy. I like their variation of toppings but I think most places have standard ones. They keeps things pretty simple and efficient, and their pizzas are cooked with a real fire. I think this location is still working out some kinks because they are new but I definitely like their pizza so I’ll keep coming back

Blaze is admittedly my favorite of the plethora of assemble-and-bake-it-quick pizza chains. This location opened in December 2015 and is my favorite place for thin crust pizza in Cerritos. You can choose one of the pizza creations on their menu or make your own. I really like the flavor of their crust and sauces as well as the fresh toppings they offer. On my latest visit I had the traditional red sauce and a combination of mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese(light on the gorgonzola — it’s got a powerful taste). I also added pepperoni, Italian sausage, black olives and artichokes. The pizza was ready in a few minutes and was wonderful. This location stands out with their customer service. Everyone seems to have genuine sunshiny personalities — no ennui kids here. The young women who made my pizza, the guy who put it in the oven and others who were cleaning the tables all had smiles and treated me like I was important. Which, as a customer, I am! That friendly customer service(and great pizza at a good price) will keep me coming back.

Another fantastic dining option in the renewed Plaza 183! They are next door to another recommended spot, Pier 76. The interior is new, clean, and the side wall has a fun graphic image and a pizza-related quote. Heard the concept is similar to Pieology, but never been there so this is a first. I love the build-your-own concept where you choose your base sauce, meats, veggies, and toppings. Overall a solid selection, and especially love the ovalini(fresh mozza) and arugula! Only wish they had prosciutto, but I guess I can survive without that :-) Though arugula is a final topping request after it’s been baked, I REALLY appreciated how generous the addition was when I asked for extra. Thanks, nice pizza-man maker! Service was friendly and they stayed on top of keeping the place clean. There is ample parking and it’s located at the eastern end of Plaza 183. Stop by for a custom pizza, especially if you want to dine away from the cluster — packed Cerritos Mall.

They have gluten free pizza here, but for an additional $ 3. I do like how they can change their gloves out, so it is much cleaner when they prepare your pizza. I got the BYO which stands for Build Your Own pizza: white cream sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, smoked ham, pepperoni, salami, italian meatball, italian sausage, applewood bacon, mushrooms, basil, green bell peppers, red onions, spinach, roasted garlic, kalamata olives, black olives, and oregano. You can also ask for ranch dressing at no charge. I like that the oven cooks the pizza fast, less than 10 minutes and it was not overcooked or undercooked, just right. There are half boxes and a full pizza box if you want to take your pizza to go. The servers are really nice, they even say your name repeatedly when they ask what toppings you want. The tables are plentiful and clean. The place is located in the Plaza 183 in the city of Cerritos off of 183rd and Gridley. Parking can easily get packed(half star off) and the lot directly in front of this place is small(half star off). So if you want to blaze it up in Cerritos, then go to Blaze Pizza for a pizza pie that will surely satisfy!

Create your own pizza or choose one of their selections! I decided to make my own but was a little disappointed that they ran out of a few items, including the pesto drizzle. We actually placed our order online which was super convenient. If you do order online, make sure you check in with the cashier once you arrive because they’ll have your pizza made but won’t fire them until you get there for the ultimate freshness! Be prepared to wait an extra few minutes for that to wrap up when you get there. I made mine with gluten free dough and it was really good! Suuuuuuper thin crust and I didn’t feel that bad eating the whole thing!

The fast-casual concept of restaurants, popularized by the ever growing Chipotle has finally expanded into on my favorite food groups(yes you read that right), pizza! For round $ 8 with tax, you get a pretty sizable personal pizza with your choice of unlimited toppings or you can choose from one of their pre-made creations. The ones I saw didn’t have enough spiciness for me, so I opted for a combination of jalapeño, banana peppers, bacon, chicken, pepperoni, spinach and feta cheese. Price: GREAT. You can’t really go wrong for basically whatever pizza you’re in the mood for for under $ 10 Location: The Plaza 183 across from the Cerritos mall has been attracting a lot of new business lately. One nice perk is that plaza often isn’t too crowded which brings me to my next point. Parking: Didn’t have any issues finding parking. Pizza: Cooked I believe in a wood fire oven which gives the crust a nice char and crispy crunch as compared to a regular oven you might get from other chains. Frankly I’m a fan as I’m not much of a heavy crust person and this is just the right amount. Tech: I love it when a company embraces the digital age. Blaze pizza allows online ordering and it is really convenient. Once you place your order online, they have your pizza pre-made and sitting off to the side. You can skip the line and go straight to the counter and tell them you’re here for an online order. They’ll make sure your order is correct, give you a receipt and start firing your pizza right away. This is to insure quality and it isn’t just sitting under a heat lamp. Takes about 10 min. Would definitely return for a quick bite or craving.

I received a coupon in the mail a few weeks ago to try out a new restaurant opening in my neighborhood called Blaze Pizza. The coupon was for buy one full price pizza, get one Free. Now mind you, I’m a Pieology lover. Ever since I went there, I loved it. So i was kind of skeptic about Blaze. I had heard that it was pricey and a knockoff. FALSE! I won’t bash the competition but I will tell you why this one excels. Here’s how Blaze Pizza REALLY is from the experience my mom and I had yesterday: The time was 2pm on a Saturday. Visually: You walk in, and the place is CLEAN! The tables are wiped down, the floor is spotless, the bathroom doesn’t have any water spills or paper towels on the floor, and the behind the counter area is very clean. The menu is very detailed and easy to read. There are handicap tables inside, lots of seating inside(community style and individual). The seating is either bar stool type seats or regular chairs, you pick where you wanna sit. The lighting is nice and the paint and décor is very simple, modern, and pleasing to the eye, not distracting. Service: First off, no less than four people greeted and welcomed us as we walked in. Thumbs up there. Then, as we walk up to the counter(only one family ahead of us), the woman asked us if it was our first visit. We said yes and she made sure that she outlined the menu for us(though it would have been nice had she spoken a little louder) and what was what. I chose the BYO(build your own) and my mom chose one of their pre-set pizzas. The cashier, Monica, was SONICE! She didn’t pressure us for a soda or anything, offered us water cups, and smiled throughout the whole transaction instead of monotonously reading us back our order. Then, the pizza was ready(took about 5 minutes. They don’t bring it to your table, they actually ask you your name at the beginning and call out your name at the end. Efficient for now but potentially a downside as the crowds start coming and the noise level increases) and my mom realized that she accidentally ordered the wrong pizza. She took it back to the cashier, Monica, and explained what happened. Monica grabbed an order sheet quickly and took her new order. When it was ready, she delivered it right over to our table and asked if it was correct. Another girl, who was on BREAK at the time and saw what happened, quickly came over to my mom and handed her a FREEPIZZA card to use for next time. Everyone was SONICE! They even came up to us at the end of our meal and asked to take our trays from us(which I saw them doing for others also). When I decided at the end of our meal that I wanted to try their S’more Pie for $ 2, I asked if it was possible to cut it in half. The manager said they could but it wouldn’t turn out well cuz it’s a cookie and it would look bad. So he threw in an extra one. HOWNICE! We started chatting about how they will soon be offering beer and wine and he ASKEDMEMYOPINION on which beers they should have. WOW! He didn’t just want his own favorite, he’s taking the time to ask the customers their own opinions, Very customer service oriented. Food: The dough has an indent in order for there to be a small crust area. At first I thought they were skimping on the Spicy Marinara sauce, but then I realized, ITISSPICY! So it was actually just enough. I think next time I’ll get Spicy and Regular Marinara(if they let me) to even out the spicy flavor. The pepperoni looks weird(as in it looks soy but I doubt it is) but tastes DELICIOUS! They offered to add Oregano to my pizza and I’m so glad I said yes cuz it had a nice hint of goodness going with it. The pizza doesn’t burn your tongue, it wasn’t greasy in the slightest(I only needed ONE napkin), there was no residue on my fingers during eating, and it was still hot but not too hot to eat. The only thing I would nit pick about would be that the slices could have stood to be smaller. But whatever. Once my mom got her new pizza, she loved it also. As a note, I got my pizza at the same time as my mom’s first pizza. I waited to eat until she got her new one, and my pizza was STILL at a good temp. I ate my whole pizza and didn’t feel overwhelmingly full afterwards. In fact, I wanted to try the S’more Pie. They warmed it up for us. I must say, I was a very messy eater with that Pie. There were crumbs EVERYWHERE! It was so delicious. Just think of your perfect s’more. It was just like that. Want to know more? GOCHECKITOUTFORYOURSELF! I might just go again right now. All this talk about it is making me hungry all over. Enjoy!

Build your pizza for only $ 7.95, as much as toppings as you want, can’t beat that :). Highly recommend paying an extra 2 bucks for double crust!!! It’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. As far as ingredients go, liked the white sauce, sautéed onions, roasted garlic and peppers. For finishing drizzle, you can choose from bbq, pesto etc. The service was really great as well! 5 stars for the server Devon… he was very attentive and helpful even if they were about to close :)

Really impressed! I’ve been to a lot of similar restaurants, but I think Blaze has to be my favorite build-your-own-pizza place. First of all, the inside of the place is clean and modern, which just somehow made the pizza taste that much better. Second, service was fast and friendly! While I wasn’t timing, I think the pizza did come out under three minutes? Lastly, I LOVE that they had togo boxes on the side, because I always feel bad bothering the cashiers up front. All the pizzas are $ 7.95, and while I can’t say anything about the pre-made options, my pizza was delish. Note: the spicy marinara sauce wasn’t that spicy… no worries though, there’s tabasco bottles on the side! Another note: I believe you can order online, if you are short on time. I came on Monday for lunchtime, and there was no line. I didn’t find parking to be an issue either. Definitely coming back!

First time here today and I can definitely say I’ll be back… probably next week, since it’s the closest«build-your-own» pizza place to where I live. It’s $ 7.95 for the«build-your-own» pizza, which is on par with their competitors such as Pieology and PizzaRev. What stood about this place is that the pizzas are ready quicker and for you vegans out there they have VEGAN cheese as an option, just thought I’d let you vegans out there know. The employees here are really friendly and helpful even more so than their competitors, hence, customer service is on fleek lol. And third, I liked the fact that they have to-go boxes out in the open so that you can just walk up and get one without having to ask. The place has like a modern industrial chic ambiance to it, which is becoming pretty prominent but I digress. Bottom line, this place is aesthetically pleasing, poppin’, and if you’re a fan of build-your-own pizza joints, you do not wanna pass this place up. I’m glad I won’t have to go to Pieology in Lakewood or PizzaRev at the Town Center when I’m craving BYO pizza.

Been craving for pizza the past few days so we decided to go to Blaze. Not wanting to fight our way thru traffic to Pasadena, I checked on Unilocal and whaddya know? Blaze in Cerritos? Way nearer. The line was pretty long but I thought it was just because they just barely opened. We waited in the cold outside for maybe 30 minutes till we even got to the door. No sweat. From there, the line moved pretty quickly. The servers were very friendly in spite of the huge # of people they had to serve. Meat-Eaters * comes with pepperoni, crumbled meatballs, red onion, mozzarella, and red sauce however you still have the option to add any ingredient for no added cost. The sausage is really good so of course I had to add it on there. Plus jalapeño and mushrooms and I’m good. S’more pie * great to eat while its still hot, fresh from the oven. Going up to pay, I thought they made a mistake so I reminded the cashier not to forget and charge for the two pizzas. But SURPRISE!!! Pizzas were free on their opening night! He said, «Why do you think there’s a lot of people lining up?» Well, sir. You won’t hear any complaints from me, sankyu very much! Definitely will be back. I’m so glad I don’t have to drive to Pasadena for some great Blaze pizza.

Thank you Blaze pizza for the free pizza today. We arrived around 3:45pm. The line was not too long. I think we waited about 25 mins or so. Pizza: I got the build your own pizza. The toppings are fresh and delicious. We got our pizzas pretty fast once we ordered them. Service: friendly and helpful. They tried their best on such a busy day. Parking: we had no problem finding parking. It could get busier on the weekends. Will be back again to eat more pizza!

Free pizzas today for their grand opening, just like Blaze on Social Media. It’s located across from Los Cerritos Mall on 183rd side in the Chuck E. Cheese Center. Always a good pizza here, size wise it’s smaller than others I’ve been to. I like to build your own and the less you put on your pie, the crunchier it will be! I do love my Art Lover and Veg Out and add arugula here.

Tonight is a family and friends soft opening of Blaze. There was a huge line when my party of 9 walked in but it has moved quickly. Everyone seems to be on their toes, efficiently taking orders. All seemed well, until they forgot my red onions and pesto topping. Oh well. I’m not one to take food back, so I ate it as is. It was yummy, I like thin crust but the sauce to cheese ratio was off. Too much sauce. Not enough queso. To top it off one side of my pizza had a lot more toppings than the other half. What I really liked was the blood orange lemonade! I had to water it down a bit but it was really tangy and yummy. They forgot one of my party’s pizzas and remade it – it took extra long & we were all about done with our pies by the time she got her refired pizza. Blaze is tasty, but not very memorable. I may or may not be back… There are a lot of new cool restaurants in the 183rd plaza that’s been revamped.
