Decided to give this place a try on a Sunday after church with friends and it definitely delivered what I needed for that night. Lent already started and so I came in hoping I had some non-meat options and the Shrimp Alfredo pizza was good enough for me! I added a few toppings to it such as tofu for added protein. I have a few more weeks to go until I can officially eat meat again and I can’t wait to come back. They also have a few selections of ice cream you can pick from and once I come back I’m definitely gonna try the black sesame ice cream. Looks really interesting. As much as I love the other pizza places around the area, this place gives me another option to go to and they definitely offer a different set of flavors!

Came here for the first time with my 2 kids and they raved about the pizza and want to come here at least once a week. Definitely coming back good pizza and extremely friendly staff. My 13 year old daughter said it’s 10 out of 5 stars because it’s that good. Great selection of topping.

My husband & I, along with 2 friends just enjoyed 3 Fabulous specialty pizzas, we shared the Korean beef, spicy Thai & the pork belly pizzas. All of us felt that by far the Best pizza crust we’ve ever had!(one of our friends is a professionally trained chef) the blend of flavors & spices in each pizza were Amazingly Delicious! To finish off our meal, we shared 2 types of their specialty ice cream, cinnamon spice & burnt Carmel. Absolutely perfect finish to a Fantastic meal. Owners Tom & Fania have truly created a wonderful delight on every level!

My fiancé works in this center and we keep finding ourselves back at 50⁄50. Their concept is similar to pizza studio or pieology, but WAYBETTER. The toppings they have are really different and fun to mix and match. The crust is stretched out in front of you which i don’t remember seeing at other places. I also really enjoy the variety of sauces they have. All of the people who work here are EXTREMELYKIND and helpful. I love coming here and i know i will be back soon. They even have their own rewards program which is really easy to use. All you have to do is give them your number and they keep track of your rewards for you. If you are in this center and looking for something tasty to eat try 50⁄50!

Pork belly! Kimchi! Bulgogi! What sets this build-your-pizza place from the other fast-bake places is the unique toppings they offer. Their pizzas come in an 11 inch size. You can pick your toppings or go with a house specialty. I did the latter and tried the pastrami pizza. They use a garlic cream sauce and top it with mozzarella, pastrami, sweet pickles and spicy brown mustard. It took about 5 minutes to get to my table. It was a delicious pizza and quite unique. The salty pastrami and cheese mixed with the sweet taste of the pickles was a fun flavor combination. After I ate the last slice I was finished and satisfied which, as odd as it sounds, is what kept me from giving 5 stars. The best pizzas make me wish I wasn’t full so that I could have another slice. As much as I enjoyed this pizza it was more of a novelty. I guess my taste for pizza runs more for traditional toppings. The staff here are very friendly and full of personality. The spunky young woman who helped me and explained their various pizzas really understood the importance of top notch customer service.

The Good: the staff was super friendly and helpful in describing our choices and the menu. Food was ready quickly. The Not-so-good: Some of the«specialty» pizzas are extremely sparse when it comes to their toppings. See: KBBQ bulgogi pizza. Let’s just say it looked like little dots of ground beef sprinkled sparingly on a bed of white cheese. That’s it… opt for kimchi if you want but that’s literally it. Let’s just say I have a certain expectation when I see the word«bulgogi» and it was not met. Pork belly pizza. Again, I have a certain expectation when I see the words«pork belly» on a menu. This pizza basically amounts to a shredded/pulled pork pizza. The flavor was actually pretty good. Easy on the Sriracha though… My biggest pain point with these pizzas was the dough… after about 10 minutes of eating… they became VERY stale and VERY hard to eat. It felt like I was eating pizza left overs. This place has promise. Definitely room for improvement though!

Stopped in to give 50⁄50 a try since there aren’t many«build your own» pizza restaurants surrounding the Cerritos Mall area. Asian fusion and pizza? I’m in!!! I have to say this was pretty delicious with some great flavors. I also like the half an half concept for the pizzas which allows you to try more in one sitting. Upon entering, the staff immediately greeted me and my friend. They were more than willing to give us a rundown of the menu and how things worked. I had researched prior to visiting so no intros to the menu were needed. From here, it was cool conversations and joke exchanges between us and the staff which was great. Nothing makes an experience better than a friendly staff. My mind was made up for my choices so I ordered half hoisin pork belly & half pastrami for one and half sunny side up & half Korean BBQ for the other. For the first pizza, this was my favorite of the night. The hoisin pork belly was awesome. I really like the combo of sweet & spicy and the pork belly was simply delicious. The pastrami pizza had a very flavorful garlic sauce under the mozzarella that balanced with the mustard well. I also like that sweet pickles were used instead of regular pickles. It gave just enough sweet without taking away from the savory. For the second pizza, the sunny side up had all the fixings for what I’d envision a breakfast pizza to be minus the sausage. It had bacon however and for me, bacon is life! Pretty good if you’re looking for a breakfast taste for dinner. The Korean BBQ pizza had buldogi which is one of my favorites when going to Korean BBQ’s as well as kimchi. This had a more savory flavor than the sunny side and taste really good with the egg on top. More so than the sunny side up which comes with the egg. Just an FYI, these were the house specialty pizzas which contained premium toppings. You can build your own pizza with unlimited toppings for $ 7.50 but will have to pay extra for the premiums. However, if you opt to try the house specialties which is only a few dollars more, you can also add any toppings to them that’s from the unlimited toppings list at no extra cost. So go crazy with those toppings if you feel the need to haha. 50⁄50 Stone Fired Pizza is a great addition to the number of restaurants within the area. Not to mention its located next to my go to spot for fried Oreos. It’s a win win for myself… delicious pizza and dessert to follow. Dinner 2÷18÷2016

We came here just the other day to try this place out for the first time. It was near closing time but they were not bothering by that at all! The staff here were so nice and helpful. I ordered the korean bbq pizza and I was able to add a cooked egg on it as well! I definitely want to try some of their other signature pizzas. The best thing about this place has to be the pizza dough. It’s not like other places where they have a machine that presses it they actually pull out the dough by hand! Even better! Definitely try this place out they have some really unique flavored pizza combinations!

Went here for the 1st time and tried the Korean BBQ and Hoision Pork Belly. I liked the Hoision Pork Belly, but wished the Korean BBQ had more toppings like green onions, onions, and mushrooms(wasn’t bad but seemed a little lacking). Their variety of toppings do make them stand out from Pieology or Pizza Studio — they have shrimp, pastrami, chorizo, fried hot dog, mandarin oranges, egg, kimchi, sriracha sauce, & spicy thai peanut sauce. The one popular ingredient I noticed they were missing was Go Go Ma(white yam), which Korean’s love on pizza. I wish they had labeled their toppings on the counter — that really helps when customizing pizza. Also, the ambience seems too quiet… could use some music to liven the place. Overall, I would come back to try the other toppings and noticed they have ice cream too… seems like a good place to eat for the summer.

I am so confused by all of these 5 star reviews. I’m guessing they have never been to Pielogy or PizzaRev or even Pizza Hut. I came here on a Friday night and it wasn’t busy at all. Being my first time, I asked for their recommendation which was the Korean BBQ and Hoison Pork Belly(their top 2 popular). The pizza was so disappointing. It didnt taste bad, it’s just it didnt wow me at all like these reviews were saying. The dough was flat, the flavors weren’t amazing, and I was left so confused scratching my head. The $ 10 pizza was not worth it at all. The service was friendly and chatted with me a lot which is nice. However, there were two young workers standing in the front with their cellphones out and a customer came in and they were still on their phones. I think these young girls are taking advantage with the manager not being there, that was very unprofessional. My coworkers told me that they didn’t like this place at all either. I’m starting to think these reviews are rigged. Unfortunately the food didnt live up to the standards, could be way better!

Food was good. Really good. Service was great too. Awesome to see the hand tossed pizza. Truly an art. Cool vibe. Your signage is cool but also confusing. Multiple customers including myself walked straight to the glass just to be redirected to the bypassed wall menu. Need plates, to share Replace your Soda cup lid dispenser, it’s annoying lol

So, my boyfriend and I decided to try this place after the owner came by his workplace with some flyers. He LOVES pizza and is somewhat picky about it. We got the shrimp scampi and KBBQ pizza. It was AMAZING. The bulgogi and kimchi mixed well with everything else. I would have loved some brisket sauce or something mixed in with the pizza sauce though. He loved the shrimp scampi as well. I really wanna try the Thai peanut pizza because I am a huge fan of Dean’s Thai curry pizza. The staff was also very friendly as well without overdoing it! We’ll definitely be returning!

Fitty Fitty, you make me giddy! 50⁄50 Stone-Fired Pizza occupies the former location of a hair salon at the bustling Landmark Square in Cerritos, on the right of Gyu-Kaku. Like most new pizza places, customers can choose from house specialty pizzas or fully customize their own creations. Unlike most new pizza places, 50⁄50 is family-owned & not a chain. Pricing goes as follows– Cheese pizza-$ 5.50 Pepperoni pizza-$ 6.50 Unlimited toppings-$ 7.50 House specialty prices vary Sauce-hearty marinara, creamy garlic, pink, olive oil, BBQ, pesto, sweet Manila, hoisin, spicy Thai peanut Cheese-mozzarella, parmesan, cheddar, feta, ricotta, gorgonzola Toppings-bacon, Canadian bacon, chicken, salami, Italian sausage, pepperoni, chorizo, fried hot dog Premium toppings for an additional charge(varies)-shrimp, bulgogi, longanisa, pork belly, pastrami, egg Veggies-basil, roasted red pepper, green bell pepper, corn, cilantro, olives, carrot, red onion, green onion, caramelized onion, jalapeño, sundried tomato, fresh tomato, kimchi, artichoke, pineapple, mushroom, spinach, pickled vegetable, pepperoncini, sweet dill pickle, garlic, mango, Mandarin orange, Kalamata olive I had the opportunity to attend the Grand Opening, where a complimentary sampling of the house specialties greeted all those that made it– Manila style– Korean BBQ– Hoisin pork belly– Spicy Thai peanut– Sunny side up– Soy green– Shrimp scampi– All of the specialty pizzas were delicious, each having their own distinct flavor profile. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try the pastrami pizza. But, of all those I tried, the hoisin pork belly was my absolute favorite. Hoisin & sriracha melded together to create the perfect pairing of spicy/salty/sweet. For the Grand Opening, customers were given 50% off everything, which I happily obliged. For those looking for lighter fare, salad with unlimited toppings is $ 7.50. Fountain drinks available, but I highly recommend the lychee lemonade. Not too sweet, not too bright, it quenched my thirst immensely. Service was great! All the staff were friendly, efficient & hospitable Minimal amount of seating, indoor & outdoor, 50⁄50 Stone-Fired Pizza is more for takeout than dining in. Parking is at the Landmark Square, which can be atrocious during dinner hours. I recommend parking in the rear, when available. 50⁄50 Stone-Fired Pizza is a great & welcome addition to my local neighborhood. Compelling ingredients, affordable prices & smiling faces from lovely husband & wife owners & staff, are what make this place a great option the next time you’re in the mood for some pizza. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

Awesome little pizza joint located in the shopping center right across from the cerritos mall where Lucille’s is and next door to Gyu-Kaku. With that said parking my be a hassle sometimes but well worth it. This is a yummy build your own pizza spot which have specialty pizzas as well. Similar to Blaze and Pieology but better because it have an Asian pizzazz.(see what I did there?! =P) lol Also the pricing is a steal! I went in a few times during their soft opening. Through their different crusts to toppings. I must say they have evolved well and their pizzas are on point. I can never decide on what I want so I always go for the 50⁄50 on 2 specialty flavors. So far I’ve tried the Manila-taste like Filipino spaghetti(yummay), bulgolgi(es bueno), Thai spicy peanut(Um Yummmerz) and my favorite pork belly with hoisin sauce added kimchi and srirachi and that made my heart melt! My all time favorite!!! I also tried creating my own a few times but I think I get topping happy since its unlimited lol. I LLLLOOOOVVVEEEPIZZZAA! ANDASIANFOODEVENMORE! I could possibly be bias being Asian and all bit hey I get the best of both worlds here! The place is really cute inside. Awesome place to chill! Décor was simple yet cozy. They have a huge chalkboard menu. The wooden walls, and the lightings! Shabby cute! Even the restroom looks great! The workers are there CUTESTEVER! They’re funny, silly and makes bomb a** pizza. Don’t be shy to ask for more of your toppings if you’re an oinkster like moi, they’ll do it with a smile! The owner/manager Tom & Fawnia are also really friendly! They always check on us to make sure our pizzas are tasting well when they’re there. My friends and I have been here at least once a week since their soft opening and absolutely love it! We’ll definitely be regulars here. Sharing is caring so the secret is out! If you wan t some awesome pizza or is bored of the usual this place can definitely spice up your foodie life!(^_^) BTW they’re having their grand opening tomorrow with pizza tasting and half off everything all day tomorrow! This would be the best time to check out the place yourself. Bookmark it, put it on your alarm and hurry on over tomorrow as the yumminess will start early but for those of us working we can still enjoy the half off til the day ends tomorrow(^_^)

Very similar to Pieology and Blaze Pizza in that you are able to create your own pizza with sauces and toppings of your choice. What sets this restaurant apart is its specialty pizzas — many of them influenced by predominantly East/South East Asian foods and flavors(Longanisa, Pork Belly, Sriracha Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Bulgogi, Kimchi, etc). We ordered two 50⁄50 pizzas: half Manila Style & half Hoisin Pork Belly and half Shrimp Scampi & half Korean BBQ. The Hoisin Pork Belly was definitely our favorite! Finding the restaurant in the evening was a bit difficult as they do not have lit sign. Not sure if it’s because they haven’t had their Grand Opening yet. But it’s to the right of Gyu Kaku! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely consider coming back here if I’m ever in the area!

Let’s start with the menu… SOOOOOO many choices and combinations, not to mention the board/menu itself is super cute! We were greeted by the owner and her staff as we walked in the door. They gave us suggestions and patiently waited for us to finally make up our mind. We had a party of 10 and no one was disappointed with their choice. The pastrami pizza was my favorite! They are not shy with the toppings either. It’s a little hidden gem in the corner of the complex. The whole time we ate the staff made sure to check on us and made sure we didn’t need anything. I’m all about promoting small businesses and this is one that deserves to be promoted! The other owner also came up and explained they use the best ingredients from Italy, which you can tell by the taste of the crust and sauce. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The customer service was the best. The staff was very sweet and attentive. They asked if you wanted more meat and more toppings, and they described all their specialties pizzas. 5 stars for experience and service. I got the pork belly specialty, it wasn’t my favorite because the hoisin sauce was sweet and overpowering. I enjoyed the breakfast pizza! I was able to taste all the ingredients. The peanut Thai specialty pizza was also delicious. It tasted like a Thai dish on the pizza. And lastly, the kbbq pizza was«v lit» says my friend rox. Haha. I would either come back for the breakfast pizza or try another pizza. Don’t be afraid to ask for extra of whatever you want ! I also want to try their lychee lemonade! Enjoy(:

Finally a BYOP place that has really set itself apart from the competition that I ended up enjoying a lot. After a recommendation by a fellow Unilocaler I decided to grab lunch here today and since it just opened I was surprised this place wasn’t packed. There’s not a big sign posted up yet but it’s located right next to Umaya Ramen which is in the plaza where Lucielle’s and Panera Bread are. When you walk in there’s a giant sign of their menu and it really stands out. They got specialty pizzas that the other places don’t offer and that’s what makes this place unique. You want a Korean bbq pizza? Or a pastrami? How about a breakfast pizza? They got you covered. But their main concept is doing the pizza 50⁄50. You can choose to build your own like the other places and load it up with all the toppings you want but I decided to go with their 50⁄50 and got their pastrami and hoisin pork belly pizza. Since this was a specialty pizza it did cost me more than what I’m used to paying for between $ 7.50 and 9 bucks. My pie costed me a little over $ 11 but I felt it was well worth it since I was quite surpised on how it tasted. I loved the pastrami with the sweet pickle and spicy brown mustard on top. I felt it could’ve used a little more pastrami though. The hoisin pork belly had tons of flavor and I just wanted to eat more of it. The crust had a nice crispy texture and I thought their dough was a lot better overall. And to top it off the size of their pizza is quite bigger than the other places offer. They have a rewards program so when you buy 10 pizzas you’ll get one free next time. You just have to give your number. Staff here was excellent. All of them. I’m glad I tried this place out. I’m definitely a big fan of this place and I normally don’t eat at BYOP places often since they are all nearly identical but I definitely see myself coming back here to try their other flavors. Great job to the crew that served me today.

Had the pleasure of eating here last night after hearing about it from talkCerritos on FB. If you’re planning to try it out before their grand opening sometime in January, be warned that they’re not officially open yet. Their soft open hours are not exactly set in stone. Tried to call the number but no answer. Walking up around 8:30pm, we were a little confused. The ‘open’ sign was turned off and there were no signs outside, but we saw people inside. Luckily, the owner, Tom, welcomed us in as their last customers for the night. The employees were very gracious to stop their closing procedures to serve our party of 4. We were excited about the specialty options they had on the menu. Definitely sets it apart from Pieology and Blaze. The custom toppings all looked great, too. I ordered the hoysin pork belly pizza, my cousin got the Manila style pizza, her husband tried the Korean bbq and my bf did a classic bbq chicken pizza. We all added extra toppings. It was evident that the employees are still training and some of our pizzas were a little burnt. They could have been pulled out of the oven a minute or two sooner. Also some of the flavor of the toppings didn’t come thru as expected. Maybe a little more seasoning? Overall the experience was good. The owner is very gracious and accommodating considering we waltz in after half of their cleanup was done. The employees were very nice and are doing a good job. The consensus amongst us 4 is that the concept is amazing. The topping selection is very enticing. And they will do well once the kinks have been worked out. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the other options and hopefully I’ll be persuaded to add another star to this review!
