I know this is a chain restaurant but I absolutely love it here. It gets crowded on weekends, can be loud, and can be a bit pricey but the quality of the food and the convenience of self ordering and customization is so worth it. My favorite things: sweet potato fries and your choice of awesome dipping sauces(like sriracha ketchup), and their milkshakes. Oh my god. I don’t even like milkshakes but these are just incredible. So fresh it’s like the cow is right in the kitchen.

Our server Desiree was great the whole night. Very attentive and guided us through putting in our order through the techy iPad menus they have. We were a party of 6 so it was very convenient to customize our order ourselves and the check out was even better. We were all able to split our checks and they brought our change right away if we were paying with cash. Even faster if you’re paying with a credit card because you can just swipe and sign. I used the 50% off an appetizer so my appetizer came out to only about $ 5! That’s $ 5 for a whole plate of wings :) I decided to customize my burger but was VERY disappointed that my meat was overcooked. Everything was going so perfect but I’m very picky with the way my meat is cooked :(I hope their kitchen pays better attention to the way the meat is ordered but besides that I will definitely come back.

Much better dining experience this time! Our server Nicki was attentive and well-informed. The food was great and the wait wasn’t very long for 6 o’clock at night. Will definitely be back.

I was highly impressed with STACKED!!! From the service to the food to the dinning décor. I had a build your own Blackened Salmon Burger with a gluten free bun, and gluten free French fries. The gluten free options are amazing. I love that they offer gluten free buns, condiments, sides, etc. .awesome! The salmon burger was delicious and juicy and tasted perfect. It was seasoned very very well. You can get all or some the condiments on the side, or on the burger. They have«premium» condiments such as bacon, avocado, etc. My salmon burger was ordered with a gluten free bun, lettuce, ketchup, grilled onions. I like to keep it simple, and I believe it came to around $ 10.50. A large order of gluten free fries was around $ 3.50. For the size and taste of the salmon patty, I think $ 14 is definitely worth it. I even shared the fries because it was a large portion!

I really like that you’re able to customize everything on the menu. They also have many dipping sauces to chose from. Burgers are thick and juicy. The employees are very helpful, attentive and friendly.

This was my second choice of restaurant for a lunch date with a good friend. We ended up here because there was a long wait at my first choice. Initially, I wasn’t impressed because this new way to order your food on an iPad seemed annoying to me(I’m old, lol) & it actually made me feel like it was self service. However, when our overly friendly server, Matt, came to see if we were ok, he explained to us that he could do it for us. Old dog, new tricks wasn’t exactly how I wanted to spend my afternoon and I expect«service» when I dine at a restaurant. Matt continued to make us feel comfortable and I have to say that all the food we ordered was ABOVE par. The lobster mac was exceptional. The prime rib sandwich was delicious & well presented and the veggie burger hit the spot. We ordered dessert also, both were delicious. The bread pudding & the peanut butter chocolate cookie with ice cream. I’m still not a fan of using the iPad to order & pay, but I’ll play along…

The bad: Kind of expensive($ 18 for a «well built» hamburger) and not too friendly if you don’t know how to order using an iPad and a credit card. The good: The food is top notch, whatever you order is good and the portions are very generous. We had hamburgers, mac n’cheese and salads and all 3 were superb. Be ready to wait if you go for diner, especially during weekends

Came here on Saturday 1÷23÷16 for an early dinner. It’s located near the Cerritos mall or promenade, so parking can get busy. I called them at 1:30pm that day to make reservations for 4 o’clock the same day, and they were able to accommodate me. There was 6 people total in our party. The place is pretty big, and the seating is all spaced out very well. We were seated at a booth, which was good but we added an extra seat since we had a baby with us. Our server was great! His name was Matt and he was very informative and showed us how to order and how to send our orders in, etc. The menu is huge, and you can either look at the iPad and check out what they have, or look at the menu. They have pre-made items which you can order or add items on. I ordered the twosome burger w/grilled onions, roasted poblano peppers, sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, pickles, stacked sauce and a lettuce wrap. It was delicious!!! =) Everyone in my party ordered something different and they all loved what they got. They even have a jalapeño bacon that was good, it wasn’t too spicy but had a little kick to it. Dessert was ordered, but I was too full so I just snuck bites of the peanut butter heaven and it was yummy since I love peanut butter and it even had slices of Reese’s peanut butter cups in it. Also what made me give this place 5 stars was that Matt changed the station on the tv so that we could watch the Cavs game! Super nice of him to, and made sure we had a great first experience there.

A few friends and I decided to try this place out so one night we finally did… The environment has a sports bar type feel, there’s plenty of TV’s playing games which is a huge plus, but downfall to this place is the ordering process… Mind you that one can opt to place his or her food with a waiter or waitress but they encourage a person to use their tablets to order food… That’s a first for me, but it literally takes forever for a table to share one tablet and order a meal one after another… I don’t know about most of you but I got a bad case of OCD, and you can tell those tablets aren’t clean, and they’re smothered in food grease and oil… Kind of disgusting if you ask me…

Place is pretty cool you order off of a the tablet you get to choose all the different components of your food We ordered actually over the counter with the bartender and I ordered several but the person I was with was surprised at what he got his salad. Burger was good, I’m a pretty simple eater so didn’t jump into everything they had available but if you’re looking for a bunch of options on everything from burgers to high end sandwiches to burritos you can find all of it here. Place was full with a pretty hip crowd so they have the draw they need to get going and I am sure I will be back to try something else!

Not very impressed due to all the hype. I expected it to be a lot better. I built my own burger. I got a 1⁄3 patty(well done) wrapped in lettuce with American cheese, jalapeños, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, and Stacked sauce. The patty and the cheese were good, but the jalapeños tasted like they just came out of a jar. There wasn’t much avocado which really saddened me. They were quite generous with the pickles and jalapeños. There wasn’t much onion and one slice of tomato. For almost $ 11 I expected to have better tasting ingredients. I can go to Norms in Whittier and pay $ 7 for an entire meal that has that gourmet taste I enjoy. I went half on a large order of fries(about $ 4) with my best friend and those were delicious. With ranch and campfire sauce, it was perfection. I enjoyed that much more than the burger. To top it off, the service here is terrible. My party and I waited a long time to even receive water and almost two hours to get our food. The server did not even bother to help us with the kiosk even though we told him it was our first time here! Maybe I’m just nitpicking, but I won’t come back. I’m glad I tried it though. If you’re planning on coming here, just be prepared to pay a lot of money for an okay burger. You’ll easily pay $ 15 for a burger and fries. And if you want a drink, $ 20. You’re literally paying just to create your own burger, which isn’t even that great in my opinion. To me, it’s all hype. But maybe you’ll enjoy it :) As for me, I’ll stick to the burger joints I know and love rather than coming here to blow money to fiddle with a kiosk.

Excellent burgers, shakes and fries. The whole entire digital approach to ordering adds a Dalit of awesomeness and makes for a fun futuristic meal ordering experience.

I love this place. I normally get my hamburger with out the bun. The hamburger practically melts in my hand while eating it. They’ve changed their menu a since it’s been open, I like the the new items they have added. I would also recommend their garlic fries too. Surprisingly their Mac & Cheese is good too, and I say surprisingly since its a hamburger spot.

I think the great thing about Stacked restaurant is that you order from your table using the touchscreen. I love the service you. You you did a big portion. The food is yummy. I recommend this restaurant to everybody.

How I’ve viewed and enjoyed this restaurant has changed so much since it opened. I love going here now and the fact is, I don’t go enough. I love not talking to people. It probably sounds harsh, but sometimes you don’t particularly feel like talking too much. It happens. Also, I’m vegan now and I wasn’t when I started eating there, but what I’m pysched about is the fact I can’t have pretty much almost every item I got before, and get it deliciously veganized. Also, it’s just so much easier to order on an iPad when you eat a certain way that a lot of people don’t understand.(Like, «Oh, but I asked you if there was dairy.» and people say, «Oh, cheese is dairy?» which actually happens, btw.) I love that I can just build my food and send it to the kitchen. The food has also improved much over time as well. In the beginning, I didn’t like their fries at all, but they come out crispy and good now. Everything has great flavor. I love getting a veggie burger with a bunch of stuff on it like onions, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, vegan cheese, mustard, tomatoes, pickles, etc. It’s pretty tasty. My boyfriend and I took our roommates here and now they’re hooked as well. Now what I really wish they would do is add non-dairy ice cream to the menu so I can totally indulge in sundaes there with my boyfriend!

I ordered the Garlic chicken Sandwich. The garlic aioli really livens up the entire sandwich. The garlic chicken had a bit of a crunch to it and is served on a French roll with roma tomatoes, avocado and green leaf lettuce. I also tried the garlic fries and they’re no joke. There’s a lot of roasted garlic goodness topped all over the garlic. This was truly a garlicy goodness experience. There’s enough garlic to ward off vampires this Halloween, that’s for sure! We couldn’t decide which of the dips we liked best. Butternut Squash Aioli gets you in the autumn mood and the roasted red pepper adds more flavor. My husband and i enjoyed the Garlic Chicken Pizza and bacon pizza. We both took a slice even though we were stuffed, but we had to grab another to share because it’s simply awesome. You can always customize your pizza to your liking but we had ours standard which comes with Mozzarella cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, garlic sauce, grilled chicken breast, grape tomatoes, applewood smoked bacon, and green olives.

Been here a few times now, even been here when back in the days it was the Japanese Buffet! But I have to say, the last time I was at Stacked, I didn’t have the usual burger.(I’ve always ordered the burger here and the experience was 3 star worthy) Instead, try the Maple Glazed Bacon(it comes in 4 pieces). It’s so darn good! Applewood smoked, thick cut bacon drown in maple syrup. Also, the Pizzas here aren’t half bad.(Yes, order the pizza and it wasn’t soggy). The dough wasn’t the greatest though because I’m all about that dough. I like it rustic and chewy and it just didn’t have that. The craft beer selections here are quite decent too. I was able to get a Left Hand Milk Stout(In bottle). They have about 5 different selections for craft beers. Yes, the Ipad ordering does seem like a gimmick but I can tell you that your order is never wrong!

I LOVED my experience at STACKED the other day! We checked it out for dinner and at around 7:30 we only waited a few minutes for a table. When we got there we were shown how the iPad ordering system works and we loved the visual display. In the same vein as Minecraft, you can visually create what you want to eat by dragging and dropping your foods of choice. For example, I created the most amazing turkey burger by dragging a brioche bun, a turkey patty, blue cheese, applewood bacon, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, Dijon mustard, pickles and green leaf lettuce from the right to the left of the screen. My burger stacked itself to my visual liking and then I dragged over some bbq sauce to the middle of the screen because that makes it on the side. We checked in on Unilocal and were granted a half-off appetizer so we got some grilled wings. Those puppies were delicious and I wanted to take their buffalo sauce home with me(it had a really interesting flavor). Since ordering is your responsibility we got to time out our meal the way we wanted. We fired our app/drinks first then put a second order in when we had those on the table. Would figure that the control freak ex-server in me would LOVE controlling the timing! For our second course we ordered burgers and a small side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were average but my burger should be on the standard menu. I finished my entire burger and savored every moment. If we had any room I would have wanted to create an ice cream sandwich. You can drag and drop your cookie choice, ice cream choice and a syrup like caramel and out comes this perfect sandwich wrapped up and placed in a bowl(we saw two at the table next to us and it looked divine). Couple of tips for those newbies to STACKED: 1) Obviously check in on Unilocal for your half-off offer on an app. You could use it on a bouquet of bacon or any of their other full priced apps(it’s only 25% off at happy hour). 2) When you use the check in offer just show it to your server. The server will tell a manager who will take the correct percentage off the bill(and you can see it happening on your ipad) 3) If you’re a germ-a-phobe like me bring hand sanitizer because a lot of people are probably touching the iPad screen and you don’t want to have to get up and wash your hands before shoveling food in your mouth 4) Ask your server for water if you want it. Our server happily brought some when asked. 5) If you come with little kids know that the iPads don’t lock, so if they accidentally send out an order you’ll want to quickly tell the server to cancel it. We will be back!

Sooooo we ordered take out. Burger bytes(dry) Chili cheese fries(not enough chili for the amount of fries) Stack your own burger — turkey burger avocado n tomatoes(was okay) Ready in 15mins… more like sitting in a bag for 10min. We’ve had better chili cheese fries from Rocky Cola in Whittier for less. We took some bites of the fries and were done. Burgers were disappointing. Overall… over it. Gonna unfollow on IG. I’m sure it’s better when you eat there but dang…

The Jalapeño Burger is what I ordered with a couple substitutions when I visited Stacked during happy hour a few days ago. The burger was really juicy and full of flavor, even though I ordered it well done. That’s hard to come by, because most places will just burn the patty and it gets dried out when you ask for well done! I had pepper jack and jack cheddar cheese in my burger, with onion strings, lettuce, chipotle mayo, jalapeños, and last but not least avocados. We ordered off the ipad, which is pretty cool. The bartender helping us was very friendly and gave us all the time we needed to decide on our order and figure out how to use the ipad. :) Off the happy hour menu, we ordered the small side of chili cheese fries and the grilled wings. The chili was not very good, it was like canned chili and lacked flavor. The wings were OK, sauce on the wings was good. The wings come with carrots.
