Absolutely delicious. I ordered the trio Mac with the cajun mac, fajita mac(with steak), and the Don’t Be Afrai-doe. It was my first time there and they were so friendly. The ingredients were fresh. The wait time wasn’t too long either. I’ll definitely be ordering the rest of the menu soon.

. Im disappointed on the service I received today. The blonde lady In front didn’t greet me walking in. I said good morning and she ignored me and rolled her eyes, I told her I was ready to order and she said«give me a second» I was ready to walk out… But I was starving so I stayed and ate my food mad, I should had walked out. Bad experience not returning.

I really enjoyed my visit — I got the regular sized More Cheese 4 Me mac n cheese and an order of the shoe string fries. Excellent service, pretty clean space and the food was quite tasty. My only complaint was that my main dish was overly salty — the baked topping, especially(I scooped off the last bit of it because it was just too overwhelming.) But overall, really good and very filling. SO glad I didn’t get the large size entrée, I never would’ve finished it. This would be a great place to share a big bowl and a side or two. Also great is that they have several veg friendly dishes. I will definitely be back — can’t wait to try something different and bring the BF, too(he’s been dying to try this place — don’t tell him I came without him! Shh!)

I don’t know of any other restaurants that specialize in Mac & Cheese. As a big fan and lover of Macaroni & Cheese, I can’t help but give it a 5. I’ve tried three different macs so far and they were all pretty good! Also tried some of their appetizers.(* indicates favorites) 1. Wingin’ it: Hot wing sauce in cheddar topped with breaded chicken and blue cheese 2. Easy Cheesy Caprese: roasted tomatoes, garlic, and basil *3. MACsala: Exotic Indian spice, peppers, and onions 4. Garden Salad: Got the half Mac & half salad combo(Caesar or garden). It’s literally a garden salad. I thought it was a waste of money. If you’re here with a friend, don’t get the combo but just get a regular salad to share! There are more salad choices to choose from. *5. Truffle fries: French fries tossed in white truffle oil, Parmesan, parsley, and garlic. Surprisingly really delicious! A must get. 6. Tomato soup: their soups change on a daily basis. We tried the tomato soup and ended up wasting most of it. Too sweet and too creamy. Where’s the tomato?

Got the when pigs fly mac n cheese and my homegirl E-Mo got the philly steak sandwich. It was okay. I would echo the sentiments of an earlier reviewer and say it was good, but wouldn’t come out of my way to eat here. Overall the place was quote clean and everyone was friendly.

Glorious. Decadent. Indulgence. Imagine your most luxurious dream vacation and all of the exquisite pleasure it elicits. Imagine this week long feeling condensed into a compressed 30 minute excursion into taste bud satisfaction. Go to Elbows and order the Fun Guy Mac N Cheese. It’s mac freaking perfection that heats you from the inside with soothing cheesy love, while simultaneously waking your tummy to life with garlic and savory truffle flavor. Yet all this richness is situated in a totally laid back, warmly friendly restaurant with an always welcoming staff and a fun atmosphere for hanging out with friends. And by the way, if you hang out there with friends, just know that the conversations will be mostly a lot of «Mmms» and«Ahhs» and«Cheese Covered Christ this is good!!», no matter what you order. Go to Elbows NOW, because you never know when you will die, and you don’t want to die without having tried this food.

Plenty parking in large strip mall with Target, Panda Express, California Fish Grill, etc. Got my order of Lobster Asparagus Mac to go. It was good with nice chunks of lobster, but not enough asparagus and kind of pricey. May come here again to try something else next time.

Elbows is located in a bustling Cerritos plaza with terrible parking during peak hours. A restaurant that serves mostly mac n cheese? Sounds like a dream come true! Mac n cheese is the ultimate comfort food, and Elbows plays the part with the cutesy menu names and their welcoming staff. But does the actual food stack up? I had the HOLYCOW(regular: $ 8.65), which has Angus burger, bacon, mushrooms, cheddar, and Swiss. I enjoyed the crunchy top layer of Panko, but the flavor of the cheese itself was lacking for me. I felt like the burger was also not seasoned well so it all tasted kind of bland, but not awful. This particular item I had did not showcase the quality mac n cheese I was hoping to get from this place. Luckily there is a check-in offer for 10% off, but it’s still practically $ 9 for this average mac n cheese plate. The people working here were so sweet though, which I definitely appreciate. Food: 2, Service: 4, Environment: 3, Price: 2

I stopped by to check it out because I thought it was Ilan interesting concept. I placed a phone order, because I was on a lunch break. After walking in and paying, the girl at the register prepared my salad. SHEDIDNOTWASHHERHANDS, or have gloves on. So, am I suppose to eat this salad, that was prepared with dirty hands ?! I ended up throwing it away. Aside, from my contaminated salad I ordered half soup half Mac and cheese. When I got back to work, my soup has spilled all over. Which I don’t understand why the attempted to fit the soup with the macaroni, why not just place it on the side of the bag?! The tomato soup tastes just like bacon, and has celery and bell pepper pieces. Idk if I would go back, but if I do DEFINITELY will be pushing the issue for gloves !

There are so many options here it’s almost confusing! And the fact that you can create your own mac just doesn’t help my indecisiveness. After reading the reviewed, I ordered the truffle and mushroom mac which was pretty tasty. My sis ordered the combo with the pigs mac and cheese(had bacon pieces) and tomato soup and she enjoyed it as well, but between the two macs I would say the truffle one had more flavor. We also ordered the sweet potato fries which was a little on the soggy side, wouldn’t order again. The food took about 15 – 20 minutes which was a little long to wait in my opinion. The service was eh… cashier had no smile and did not initiate any eye contact. The food itself tasted good overall, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. It is quite convenient if you are shopping in the area, but parking can be a headache.

I love their mac and cheese! I wish there was one closer to LA. I am a huge fan of the lobster mac and cheese, it’s so cheesy, gooey, flavorful and delicious.

I love me some Mac & Cheese, so a visit here was long overdue… and I was overall pretty happy… Parking was fine, but we were here early, and snagged a spot right up front. Went in and asked the girl on the counter about the Unilocal discount of 10% with check-in, which was honored for ONE entrée(87 cents). I had a Regular«When Pig’s Fly» with Bacon, Swiss & Gruyère Cheese. My hubby got a «This Little Piggy got Pulled» which had Pulled Pork on top of it(also Regular). The place was almost empty — and the food came in 15 minutes. When it did, we were a bit disappointed in the size of the entrees, they were smaller than expected. OK for lunch, but if it was dinner, I would have wanted a large. But they were good. I totally loved the Mac & Cheese — Lots of cheesy goodness — delicious pasta — even breadcrumbs baked on top. Overall, it was fine — and if we are in the area again, we will be back!

My family are big fans of Mac and cheese, so this place seemed right up our alley. Overall, it was good, but not great. There wasn’t anything wrong with the food at all, we enjoyed it and were content, but it wasn’t impressive enough for us to want to go out of our way to go back. The jalepeno business Mac was the best, I think because the jalepenos made up for what might otherwise have been a lack of flavor. Service was a bit slow for how empty the place was. Decent place if you happen to be in the area.

I will definitely come back for that Vegan Mac! I love when restaurants offer a vegan option so we can still enjoy the delicious food. Thank you Elbows!

Hmm it’s not the best mac and cheese I’ve had. Truffle fries were a bit on the soggy side. The pepperoni pizza mac and cheese had a lot of cheese look wise but the flavor was missing. That cheesy cheddar goodness flavor. Clam Chowder was too soupy but was good to me. And the mac and cheese fried bites also lacked that cheesy flavor. Mendel Y who reviewed this nailed it, flavor is very bland, NEEDS to have more flavor and taste. Change the bland cheese and use real cheddar cheese! Food definitely underwhelmed.

Gotta love a strip mall with Mac n cheese parlor in Cerritos, no less. When you read the menu it definitely makes you smile. When you check out names of their various themed Mac n Cheeses you’ll see why. Fun-guy, Jalapeño Business, Pigs fly and many more. Truffle fries were not great. Too much parmesan cheese and not enough truffle oil or salt. I had a Cajun concoction with Andouille sausage and my some had the Pigs fly(Bacon and Gruyer cheese) They come with a crunchy panko floating on top, crispy, buttery goodness. A solid 3.

I always came here before I was vegan. Who doesn’t love Mac n Cheese? Honestly. WHO?! A great deal for anyone who’s eating with friends is the Trio Mac. Three Mac n cheeses for $ 29.50. Which is awesome because the large Mac n cheese runs for around $ 11-$ 13 depending on the selection. A regular sized bowl is around $ 9. If you want to make an option vegan, it’s an extra $ 3. But they do have a standard vegan mac n cheese on the menu for no extra charge: «I Can’t Believe It’s Not Cheese» mac n’ cheese. Or what I usually call a fajita mac, because it sorta tastes like that and has the components of a fajita mac n’ cheese. I’ll start off by saying that my favorite Mac of all time, from years ago, was the truffle Mac. Which was mushrooms and truffle oil and ugh, just goodness in a bowl. I’m not sure this is still officially on the menu, but you can always ask for it. I’m vegan now, and I still was so fond of Elbows but knew I couldn’t eat it. BUT! They carry vegan Mac n’ cheese. Yep. Seriously. They’ll make anything on the menu with the vegan cashew cheese as well. So that’s awesome! It’s perfect for people who can’t eat dairy as well. Try their amazing appetizers! My favorite is the Chip Stix, which is probably the most popular. It’s a spiral potato on a stick. So crispy and so good! The people here are always so nice, and the service is fast. The restaurant is kept up and clean, always. The parking can be cramped since it’s a shared lot with all the other businesses. This is located across the street from the Cerritos Mall. Love elbows, and I love that they have options for everyone.

I’ve had this place bookmarked forever as a joint my kids might love. However my 18yo son reported that his friends said it sucked so I have avoided it for a few years. But recently I suggested it for my weekly Wed. dinner out with my kids and surprisingly they all said yes albeit my son was a little reluctant. Ok first off finding parking for my big truck in this center really sucks! You’ve been warned. Once inside I noticed the place is kind of small maybe 6 – 8 tables. No worries it was half empty. Its an order from the counter deal and I suggest you go here and read the menu if you are a noob like me or you will be overwhelmed by the variety of M&C that they have to offer. I know I was as were two of my kids. But for my youngest it was eazy peazy. So after a few min of pondering the menu the rest of us figured out what we wanted. My son ordered the large«Wingin’ It» … Cheddar M&C with hot wing sauce covered breaded chicken pieces and blue cheese. Daughter #1 had the small«Don’t be afraid doe» … Chicken Alfredo M&C Daughter #2 Not suprized was small«The Blue Box» for her. She is an admitted blue box(Kraft M&C) junkie and needs a 12 step intervention. I ordered the large«When Pigs Fly» … Swiss, Gruyère and BACON M&C And I ordered a spiced up «Chipstix» to share DIY your own drinks — no booze served We got our own drinks and in short order the Chipstix came out. I blew off the fact that it had no spice other than salt and ate it anyway. It was kind of like Pringles on a stick. Soon the M&C’s came out one by one. I liked the little pans that they came in because they kept your food warm the whole time. TASTE D#1 really liked her Alfredo M&C, ate almost all of it. I got the leftovers to take home and I agree it was pretty good. 3.75***Star for both of us D#2 didn’t like the baked crust on hers but ate everything underneath. She’s a blue box purist. I got her crust to take home and thought it was ok 3***Stars Son really liked his Buffalo M&C except for the bleu cheese which he picked out. He inhaled it all. I tried a bite and thought it was gross. He gave it a 3.5***Star I gave it a 1*star My Bacon M&C was fantastic! I loved it. There must have been a half pound of bacon in there as it complimented every bite. 4****Star The service was polite and rather quick considering all things are made to order. The place was clean and neat. We were checked on 2 times, unusual for a fast-ish food place. My only complaint was my stomach hurt from eating too much. Next time its a small for me. Also I gotta agree with Gigi, the leftovers were great for breakfast. I’ll be back … lots of interesting things to try.

I bought a groupon for this and it was definitely worth it, and it’s a place I would go to regardless of having a deal. I truly enjoyed the Truffle Fries, the Four Cheese Mac and Cheese, and the Smoked Gouda Melt. The service is friendly and fast, though it’s a bit cramped(reminds me of Melt It! A Grilled Cheese Co. in Pasadena) The quality of cheese and the amount they put in are generous, so I can’t wait to come back to try more things. I want to try the Mac and Cheese bites and the So Shellfish(Lobster Mac and Cheese) next! :)
