Ice cream freezer broken. Of course the employee doesn’t tell us until we have paid and notice that the ice cream is melted and more like soup. Apparently the manager doesn’t work on weekends and no-one to talk to. This place sucks! Do you think I was offered a refund for a bowl of soup? That’s a big nope!!!

Went to grab some ice cream after having lunch with a friend, when we entered there were no customers, so we assumed we would be in and out rather quickly but that wasn’t the case. We were greeted and asked if we were ready to order. My friend ordered first and the young man proceeded to make her ice cream by this time a few people have arrived and were greeted by another worker and asked if they were ready to order while I was clearly next in line and the young man was still picking up the ingredients for the ice cream my friend chose, I understand there were only two people serving but a bit of communication wouldn’t hurt instead of just ignoring someone and going to the next person. By the time the young man was finished making my friends ice cream, he proceeded to ask for my order and at this point I was already annoyed but decided to still order the ice cream. After all of that I can’t complain about the ice cream because the young man actually took his time and truly mixed all the ingredients evenly, slightly melted when he was done but not that serious. Just a quick tip not the best place to go when you’re short in time because they do take their time, the staff is very young so do expect a bit of teenage attitude when coming in.

Took us about 20 min in the line before we got helped, then when we did we come to find out that they can’t make the banana caramel crunch because they ran out of bananas. Really? They should be more prepared being that it was a weekend. Also, there was either too many new people or they are just slow.

I have to write a review. I had such a great experience and I had wonderful service on tuesday. A young man named Nate made my day. I had awesome ice cream and left feeling very happy, thanks to that young worker. Keep it up cold stone workers. Great customer service!

Worst Cold Stone experience ever! I wanted desert after having a nice lunch at Kabuki and got screwed. I’m sooo irritated I don’t even want to take the time to write all that was done today so I’ll just give you the highlights and the pictures to prove it! 1. Ice cream container not full! In fact it was given to be with about an inch and a half of room left at the top. 2. I wasn’t offered a bag or spoons and had to ask for it and I bought the 2nd largest 8.99 container. 3. Bag was ripped and the carton was damaged when I got it. 4. Unprofessional teenage staff!!!

I always come to this Coldstones and I never had a problem until today. The service was terrible and the wait was really long. To top it off a guy in there was cleaning the counter top with a dirty towel and degreaser. That is very unsanitary and no place of business should have their cleaning supplies exposed for everyone to see. I will not be coming here again.

This location is one of my favorite Cold Stones. I always come here to pick up ice cream cake. Pre-ordering is easy, but even without pre-ordering, they always have a great selection of cakes to choose from — cookies & creamery is my favorite! Staff is always very quick and friendly.

Love this place! Ever since I was little I’d get a French Vanilla Like It with Twix mixed in, never gets old. Although its Funny how they ask you«for here or to go» even though there’s no seating inside, only a couple chairs and tables outside. Nevertheless, the best ice cream around!

Really not my first choice in ice cream anymore. About 10 years ago, Cold Stone was great, now with so many great options, this is kind of the last place that I would pick. Not my son, ice cream is ice cream and he loves watching him mix in the toppings. The quality is ok, but I think it’s pricey for what you get. The like it size is pretty small and will already run you about $ 5. He had the strawberry and mixed in cheesecake pieces and liked it, but I couldn’t help but think for that price we could have gotten a better scoop elsewhere. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

I’ve been into this Cold Stone numerous times over the past few years. My experience seems to be consistent with each and every visit. Workers are always friendly and quick. Ice cream is good and the mix-ins are always done with more than adequate portions. But it’s pricier than it should be. This time I got a small«like it» cup of coffee ice cream with heath bar mixed in. They do have a great coffee ice cream here, I’ll give them that. No indoor seating, just a couple of patio tables outside. Parking in this plaza is always a nightmare. Also a note on their hours — they normally open at noon but open at 11am during the summer.

Always come her with my family. We bring my nephew tonight he loved getting a free taste of the«blue» ice cream lol. I get Banana Caramel Crunch with Graham Cracker Crust instead of Roasted Almonds and Chessecake Ice Cream. Love the service here!

I love me some ice cream!!! The workers are always friendly here. My all-time favorites are the«cookie-dough’nt you want some» and the«founders favorite». It does seem like everytime I visit a cold stone creamery … the prices are higher than the last time. I guess it is still worth it, if you are like me and just want more than regular store-bought ice cream every once in a while. :)

Never a fan of a place that handles my ice cream without gloves and then takes the money with the same hands. There were three people working so why not have one person take the money and the other two people serve people? The cash register is not at the end of the place so it seemed like they were bumping into each other during the rush hour.

Came here with my best friend craving a birthday cake remix. The atmosphere is nice; definitely what you would expect out of an ice cream shop. It’s nice and cool and smells like waffles. However, the staff member preparing my ice cream came off colder than my ice cream when she handed it to me. I felt like maybe coming in for ice cream was a mistake. Why Cold Stone? Why is your stone not cold but your employees are?

I just tried one of the hot stone creations for the first time. I could tell the employees were trying to make it for their first time too. It was delish! It took 5 minutes to make since they sprinkled the cinnamon on the churros and warmed it. Glad that it was made to order and wasn’t sitting warmed up for the past 5 hours. You have to eat it pretty fast or else the churros get cold. They gave us spoons to eat it with, which was hard to do with churros. Next time I’ll ask for a fork.

After dining at Elbow’s Mac ‘n Cheese, my friend and I paid a visit to the Cold Stone Creamery which was conveniently next door for something sweet. She was full after her entrée, but after all that savory cheese, I needed something sweet to top off my dinner. It was already pretty late – close to 10 p.m. – but there was still a small line at Cold Stone. We were both initially confused when walking into the ice creamery, though, thanks to the set-up. The line doesn’t start in a logical place – you have to walk much further to the left and into the eatery, where it’s hard to see the menu and the featured flavors of the day. This didn’t make much sense to me, but luckily, there weren’t any people behind us or many customers in the store in general. I ended up having to step out of the line to get a better look at the menu and the cartons of ice cream while my friend held our place … but I digress. The staff was cheerful and I tried a sample before I decided on my order. I haven’t been to a Cold Stone in probably more than half a year, and there always seems to be something new featured every time I go. I always opt for one of the«Signature Creation» flavors, but I noticed that the«Like It» size is slightly cheaper if you choose one of the standard flavors, and you even get a mix-in for free. Though the«Peanut Butter Cup Perfection» and«Chocolate Devotion» are some of my go-tos, I decided to try something new and opt for one of the traditional flavors and get a mix-in. I didn’t realize – until looking at the Cold Stone website – that certain locations have special featured flavors, one of which I probably ordered from this Cerritos store because I couldn’t find the flavor I chose on the website’s menu. But hey, good to know that each location is slightly different. Here’s what I ordered during this round at Cold Stone, as well as some of the other standard flavors I want to try: «Fudge Brownie»: I was in the mood for something super rich and chocolaty, so this fudgy flavor didn’t disappoint. I didn’t see this flavor listed on the Cold Stone website, so I’m wondering if it was just featured locally at this Cerritos location. Anyway, I appreciated the dense chocolate flavor, which was accentuated with the brownie I had as my free mix-in. The brownie itself was just how I like my brownies to taste — moist, rich and chewy. My «create-your-own» concoction was the epitome of a chocolate lover’s dream. «Falling in Chocolate»: This decadent fudgy flavor is a seasonal one at Cold Stone, just in time for Valentine’s Day. I saw a poster for this ice cream flavor AFTER I had placed my order … so I missed my chance to get it, but it sounds really yummy. It includes luscious«Fudge Truffle Ice Cream» mixed with chewy brownies, fudge and a whipped topping. I would be fine sans the whipped topping, and I do hope to try this seasonal, chocolaty V-Day treat one day. This sounds even better than a box of chocolates! «Fudge Truffle Decadence Cake»: I’ve never ordered one of those Cold Stone cakes before, but this seasonal Valentine’s Day selection sounds absolutely heavenly. It includes moist layers of red velvet cake, «Sweet Cream» ice cream, «Fudge Truffle» ice cream, fudge ganache and chocolate shavings. Wow. I’ll certainly have to try this at some point because it includes some of my favorite ingredients. I do love a good red velvet, and this one sounds even more amazing because it features fudge ganache and chocolate shavings on top. Although I’ve never really had«Sweet Cream» ice cream by itself, I’m sure it provides some balance to all the fudgy, chocolaty flavors in this indulgent cake. «Sweet Cream»: I’ve never had sweet cream ice cream in of itself – it’s usually mixed with something – but because this is the base of the«Oreo Overload» signature flavor at Cold Stone, I’m sure the sweet cream flavor itself is good. I think the only sweet cream flavor I’ve ever had was at Sprinkles Ice Cream, since that’s the basis for the signature«Red Velvet» ice cream flavor that I so love, so I’d be down to try the Cold Stone version at some point. «Cinnamon/Cinnamon Bun»: I don’t remember seeing either of these flavors at the Cerritos Cold Stone, but it’s nice to know that they’re available. I love the fragrant spices of fresh cinnamon rolls, so if this ice cream flavor is representative of one of my breakfast favorites, I’m sure it’s a hit! I’m not sure what the difference would be between«Cinnamon» and«Cinnamon Bun» … but perhaps«Cinnamon Bun» is stickier? «French Toast»: I don’t recall seeing a «French Toast» flavor at this Cold Stone location as well, but if this is an option at another store, I definitely want to try it. French toast is one of my favorite breakfast foods, so I’m curious to see what the ice cream flavor of this traditional breakfast starch would taste like.

This has become my fav Coldstone. I have to miss out sometimes because the parking can be a mess. But the employees are always polite and the ice cream always perfect. And i didnt know they had a punchcard rewards.

Great customer service. I really liked the Cherry Vanilla ice-cream– super sweet vanilla ice cream with black cherry bits and pieces. I really don’t like how expensive it is for the smallest«I Like It» size… $ 4.50? The ice-cream is way too sweet(sweeter than other places). Anyways, I only came because I had a $ 10 gift card.
