Starbucks, Target, Kabuki, Baja Fresh, Cold Stone Creamery, and GameStop: these are the stores that most frequently bring me to this shopping center. I like that the Target is open late and that the Starbucks here is fairly large. There’s usually indoor seating at the Starbucks, usually. Beware though, the parking near it is usually pretty busy. The crowd here, and in the area, is mostly consistent of families and the 20 – 40 year age range-many seem to come here to catch a bite to eat and/or shop. The location is bustling with people and opportunity, as the Cerritos Mall Is located directly across the street from the Promenade. My only complaint is the lack of parking. Then again, it is call the Cerritos ‘Promenade,’ and if anything I learned in tango class, it is that«promenade» means to walk or stroll. So, get ready to take a short stroll to grab your ice cream or cup of joe. Overall, this is a safe, clean, and welcoming shopping center. Have fun!

Good number of options for shopping and dining here. This used to be like a young teens and adults hangout but I guess they were not in force today. Wish I could say most of the businesses are small business owners, but they are only that way in appearance. Most are part of chains and franchises. Chris C.‘s review lists all the handy places to shop/eat. Do support them anyway! Or walk around and get a little of your daily physical activity fix. Stopping to shop and eat doesn’t count towards that log now.

With the recent development of Fountain Plaza, located on the other side of South Street, I think the Cerritos Promenade isn’t as popular as it used to be. It’s like the new chick in school just came to town and the girl next door door can’t get any more love from the boys. As Kelis would sing — «My Milkshake Brings All the Boys to the Yard» and all that nonsense involved. The Cerritos Promenade has more stores, I kid you not. Some stores being so exclusive, that you can’t find another one for miles around. Don’t even get me started on the abundant parking that’s available within the lot. Not to mention the cool, dome shaped architecture. For you non-believers, here’s a current listing of the businesses that I vouch for. — Baja Fresh — California Fish Grill — Cold Stone Creamery — Elbows Mac n’ Cheese — El Rocoto Restaurant — Five Guys Burgers and Fries — GameStop — HomeTown Buffet — Island Pacific Supermarket — Jamba Juice — Kabuki Japanese Restaurant — L & L Hawaiian BBQ — Leelin Bakery & Café — Mezza Mediterranean Grill — Panda Express — Starbucks — Target Greatland — Which Wich — Wingstop So instead of opting for the young and beautiful looking eateries nearby like — 85 °C Bakery Café, Class 302, Creamistry, Gen Korean BBQ House, and North Shore Poke Company, why don’t you go with the original gal that’s desperately seeking your attention? And quit being so superficial, YEAH?
