Great Italian shaved ice. Love this place because they let you try everything they even let you try different combinations which most are delicious. My favorite is either the cherry bomb(taste like a bomb pop) or the sour gummy worm. This place is a must try.

−−29÷100 reviews for 2016– This location is the best I’ve been to so far. It doesn’t get as crowded as the Cypress and Del Amo mall location. It’s in a good location next to Gatten Sushi, Panera Bread, Fusion Tea — and it’s right across from Cerritos Mall. Super convenient! The employees are very helpful and attentive, especially to customers who haven’t had the«Frostbites experience» yet! You can sample an ample amount and mix and match different flavors to get that certain combo. My favorite is the Jolly Rancher. It’s basically the Watermelon & Green Apple sorbets with vanilla custard. It is to die for! Another sorbet I enjoy alone is the passion fruit with custard. I recently just got introduced to the lychee, orange cream, pineapple mix with custard. It was really yummy. The lychee sorbet had lychee bits in it and it was chewy and very enjoyable! What I also like about this place is that if you’re lactose-intolerant, vegan, or allergic to dairy, you have the option of just getting their scrumptious sorbets. Don’t forget to mix and match!!! ;) And finally, if you’re not in the mood for an icy treat, you can opt for their crepes. They have lovely combinations and they NEVER disappoint. They’re beautifully made right in front of you through a glass window. They’re also quickly made. Add ice cream on the side if you’re feeling risky ;) it won’t disappoint!

Frost Bites is a delicacy from the highest level of heaven. The flavor gods have blessed this place with flavor so powerful and satisfying that it leaves your taste buds crying from longing. Sour Gummy Worm, Mango Pineapple with Tajin, and Red White and Blue are the go-to. Better than Ritas and Joes.

My friend and I stopped by on Friday after dinner. The wait was not long at all. Best of all, the customer service was excellent. Both of us tried a bunch of samples of the italian ice, and we never felt pressured to hurry up and make a decision. The ice is really well flavored and the texture of it is smooth. If you have absolutely no idea what flavors work well together, ask the employee helping you to whip you up a mix. They have a few tricks up their sleeves. We settled on 2 sorbet chills: Mango+Pomegranate+Passion Fruit and Strawberry+Passion Fruit. I’ll be back again soon!

My mom and I stopped in just to take a look at the menu. We were full from a lunch at Gyu-Kaku across the way. However, Mel was so good, giving us a variety of samples, that we each ordered some of their delicious Italian ice with soft serve. Everything was delicious, service was excellent and the prices are reasonable so we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Mel!

I instantly fell in love with the pineapple and cherry combination. This place never disappoints me! The only downside is that the parking lot is small. But the place itself is great!

Really really delicious, and such an interesting concept! I don’t think the employees could have been more dedicated to serving each customer than they already were. They really took the time to inform us about the different flavors and which flavors they liked themselves, as well as provide us with as many samples as we wanted before we were ready to make a decision. For what you get, the soft serve + Italian ice are priced reasonably. I would definitely come back, if I were in the area more often!

Parking: They have a parking lot that is shared with other stores in the strip mall. Go when it rains cause you get either a discount or more stamps. Also you should go when there isn’t a crowd cause they really let you try some interesting combinations. I went there when it wasn’t crowded and the guy gave us what felt like 10 samples. So many different combinations and so delicious. They had a gummy worm flavor combination, peanut butter chocolate combination, and crunch cereal combination. If you order the medium size one you get to chose a flavoring on the top and a flavoring in the middle so you can mix the flavors.

I was introduced to this place in Torrance location and wanted to try the Cerritos location. I must say the peanut putter flavored ice cream and yogurts are awesome and they let you try a variety of samples to help you make an informed decision of your purchase. I love that and they are very patient and very customer service centric and oriented and business

The service here is amazing. They are so helpful and let you try a bunch of flavors before deciding. They mix Italian ice with a custard or cream. I ended up with the pumpkin pie with custard option and it tasted just like pumpkin pie! So good!

Frostbites has the best Italian ice and custard! I love that they have been expanding because they offer such delightful desserts and outstanding service. I don’t mind visiting here frequently :) This Cerritos location is across from the mall and shares the parking lot with many other eateries, including Lucille’s BBQ and Tasty Noodle House. The custard here is the bomb. The next time I’m here, I will probably just order the custard by itself. They offer vanilla and chocolate flavors, but vanilla is better! My favorite ice flavors: raspberry, sour apple, and peanut butter. They also have salted caramel, but it’s hard to get that creamy texture with ice. The peanut butter ice goes well with the chocolate custard though. The last time I visited, Jack helped my group decide what to get. He’s really good at what he does! He recommended flavors and offered us plenty of samples. He was so smooth haha. Our experience with him makes us want to go back to this location. Thanks, Jack!

Great dessert spot in Cerritos! Located amongst many other restaurants, there is a large parking lot. The funny thing was that even so, we had to drive around several times to find a spot since the area is really busy. Inside there is a few tables and counter to eat at. The instructions for how to order is explained clearly on the monitors on the wall when you walk in. The servers were great. They let you sample the many flavors and combinations before you buy it, and make great recommendations as well. The sorbet cream is, I believe, what they’re known for. It is delicious! I got the vanilla chocolate swirl sorbet cream, combined with the pumpkin pie and salted caramel italian ice. The server recommended this combo after I had mentioned that I wanted those two italian ice flavors. It tastes kind of like a pumpkin spice latte! So good! Overall, great place to grab some dessert if you’re in the area!

We really enjoy Frostbites. You can get a variety of sorbets with or without vanilla/chocolate custard. They have great flavors from your standard strawberry and cherry sorbets to watermelon, peanut butter, and taro. When you get to the counter, a friendly employee will ask if you’ve ever been there before and will give you some samples to try. The night we were here we were given red and blue sorbet over vanilla custard that tastes exactly like the red, white, and blue rocket Popsicles I remember as a kid. Yummy! You can opt for a sorbet chill, which is sorbet alone, or a sorbet cream which is sorbet over frozen custard. I always opt for the sorbet cream because why would I not get ice cream if given the choice?! I usually get the vanilla custard with cherry sorbet. Deliciously creamy and refreshing! You’re also able to get more than one flavor of sorbet. Note that if there are some ppl ahead of you in line, it may take some time. The employees do a good job of giving loads of samples of fun and delicious flavor combos to sample so it takes some time. They have a punch card and if you fill up your card you’ll get $ 2 off your next order. Also, if you visit on a rainy day you get double the stamps. They also offer crepes but I’ve never tried one. Maybe one day, but it’ll be tough getting me to pass on a sorbet cream if I’m there.

Atmosphere: Casual. Small ice cream shop. Ordered Items: Strawberry Cream sorbet and a Chocolate Strawberry banana crêpe. SooOOoO. Im NOT a fan of Styrofoam plates and that’s what they put their crepes on, so thats a No for me. But the person who helped us, Amanda, was amazing she was extremely helpful and as sweet as the ice cream :) The mixes that I tried were good, so I may be back just for the Italian sorbet. **Yelp Offer of $ 3 off $ 15 or more**

Whenever I trek down to Cerritos, I almost always make sure to stop by Frostbites. Frankly, I am in love with what they have to offer! Located right across the street from Cerritos Mall, this place is situated in a small shopping center that already boasts quite the eateries such as Guppy House, Chronic Tacos, Lucille’s BBQ and much more. Service here is always pleasant and prompt. If you want samples of what they have to offer, all you have to do is ask and they will be more than happy to help you with that. They have many different flavors of sorbets, such as blue raspberry, sour apple, cherry, strawberry, orange, peanut butter and much more. My usual fave is the blue raspberry! They have sizes that vary from small, medium and large. Im pretty sure I could gorge down an extra large if there was one! If you are confused as to which flavors to pair your cup with, the courteous staff can always be of a helping hand! Frostbites also have crepes and ice cream cakes. Believe me, their crepes are to die for. For an extra 80 cents I believe, you can add anything to your crêpe, such as nutella, strawberries, bananas, chocolate and much more. Seating is limited inside, as there is always a long line and so many people taking all the spaces! So good luck with that. Parking can be ample but a hassle more than half the time, especially if you come during the evening. Be sue to get your card stamped when you come here! For myself, it was love at first taste, bite and savor!

Service here mimics the service I received at the cypress location. Employees are quick to offer samples and suggestions and ensure that you will choose something that you like! It seems like they also serve crepes, which I have never tried before, but everyone comes in for their ice and cream. Delicious! Definitely will be back and willing to try more flavors! Double stamps on rainy days! (Visited 04-30-2015)

ADDICTED to this unbelievable blast of flavors. Shout out to my sis Jennifer N. for the intro. Sorbet Chill is Frostbite’s authentic Italian ice made fresh in their store. I KNOW I KNOW… some people HATE the icy crunchy kind of shaved ice, but this is soooo different. I hate the icy artificial shaved ice with food coloring as well. Their sorbet chill is very velvety and soft. Below the sorbet chill consists of their secret sorbet cream. It’s SO creamy and rich. Sorbet Chill –3.10 small 1.70 regular 4.20 large Sorbet Cream– 3.40 small 4.10 regular 5.00 large Step UNO: pick yo base– vanilla, chocolate, vanilla chocolate swirl Step DOS: pick yo poison: ANY of the italian ices to layer on top. SUPERGOOD Sour gummy worm: Super excited with my choice. The velvety touch of the sorbet chill layered beautifully on the luscious sorbet cream. It wasnt SUPER sour for those of you who do not like too much citrus. It was sweet, rich, with a kick of sour. Best combo ever to roam my tastebuds!!!
