Went on a Monday afternoon, place was not busy, so it was easy to order directly from the Sushi Chef, vs. eating off the conveyor belt. Aside from running out of a couple of items, such as scallops, all of the items we ordered were great. Fish was very fresh. The service by both the Chef and the wait staff was excellent. Very impressed, as we have eaten at conveyor belt sushi places in Japan before. Will go again.

The food here is completely MEDIOCRE with a lot of tempura options for ‘sushi’ Also, I found out that this place has been investigated by the U.S. Department of Labor for withholding pay from its workers for their overtime pay and taking money away for ten minute breaks. Horrible sushi and horrible treatment of its workers! I am never dining here again!!!

This sushi place is mediocre at best. It’s best asset is really the conveyor belt. I was moderately happy about the sushi here. The slightly cooked salmon roll with the special sauce is actually some pretty amazing stuff. Also the fried whole sushi rolls are very tasty as well. I wasn’t really happy with the quality of the rice bowls. The garlic chicken was cold by the time I picked it up off the conveyor belt and I wasn’t really happy with it. The fried chicken bowl seriously was 75% chicken fat and 25% meat. In any other circumstances, I might have lost my appetite, but I was really hungry there. The pricing model is easy to interpret. Each of the sushi plates are 2.50. The bowls without rice are $ 4. With rice are $ 4.50. At the end of your meal, the waiter or waitress will count up all the dishes by plate. I wasn’t particularly impressed with their drinks selection either. The hot green tea felt like a it was served in a — quite literally — fishy smelling container. No sodas were available that day, which felt a bit weird. All in all, it was okay at best. I may come back here later on, but no plans to go back any time soon.

I don’t know how to put this gently. But, there wasn’t anything good about this place. When my group and I first walked in we had to sign the wait list sheet which was crazy considering they weren’t busy at all. So my group waited… and waited… the waiters didn’t look at us… finally after about 8 minutes one of the chefs looked at us wondering why the waiters dropped the ball, and points us to a booth. After we’re seated, we wait because there are no bowls for the soy sauce, so we wait… and wait some more… finally we just decide to get the bowls from other empty tables ourselves. Having finally obtained the essentials for sushi, we start pulling things off the revolving table. I picked up some chicken and calamari off, and was disgusted by how cold and mushy the food was because it had apparently been revolving for a long time. The avocado on most of the maki rolls I saw were brown, and the nigiri sushi was cut in a way that made it look like it was torn. The rice was tasteless, and I questioned the edibility of some of the fish. I didn’t like this place, and I generally like all sushi establishments, even the«all you can eat» ones where quality is generally lower than other establishments. The fastest thing the wait staff did was get us the check(thankfully), and then offered us a $ 5.00 off coupon that was good until February 2016. We left that coupon, with the paid bill and tip, because it will take more than $ 5 off to get me to step foot in this business again. OVERALL — Poor and slow customer service — Gross/old food — Overpriced for what it was + Close to other businesses with better food.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since forever, and now that I have. sadly, I’m a bit disappointed. Which leads me to say that this place is overhyped for everything it has to offer. I’m down to try it again, it could be a hit or miss. First impression, parking is the worse since it’s located in a somewhat small plaza with a bunch of other food spots like Panera and Lucilles smokehouse BBQ to name a couple. Second, the place itself looked small from outside. There’s more parking located behind the stores but even that is packed from employees working here. We drove around the parking lot twice and almost left. Thankfully, we got lucky. Everyone greets you as you walk in and make you choose between booths or the side sushi bar. I’m all about the booths even if there’s just 2 of us. We happened to get seated right across the door into their office and that bothered me a little because people kept going in and out more than they should. Jeff started helping us but eventually, the other server finished us off. She checked up on us more for sure. Picking from the belt was difficult as most of the items looked dry/old. I wasn’t having it so I ordered from the menu the whole time. Plus, you’re welcome to ask for soy paper if possible. Try it for the salmon skin hand roll and salmon ikura. So good. The rest didn’t impress me. The hubby enjoyed the eel a lot as he ordered 3 plates! A yellow plate is $ 2.50. Majority of the sushi plates are, red plates are $ 3.50. Be careful. Bowls are different pricing as well. Thumbs up for our sushi chef named Akira. Sadly, we overheard that it’s his last day today. We’re lucky to have him today then!

They fairly recently changed their pricing system — all plates are now $ 2.50(versus the old yellow and red plate system which denoted different prices). Also, strangely enough the last few times we have gone they havent seemed quite as crowded… They also discontinued their stamp card. In my opinion when you do things like that, you should honor the existing cards until they are redeemed and then just not give out anymore.
