Went with 10 friends for Happy Hour and we sat outside in the patio area. Service was great! We ordered the $ 15 Sangria Peach Pitcher and it was delicious! Ordered several happy hour appetizers and all were delicious! Definitely coming back!

Really good food and drinks love this place and the enviroment, the fact you can actually take your dog and eat out in the patio is pretty awsome and unique.

This review was for a visit that occurred over a year ago but since it was TOPWORST experience ever I felt like I needed to leave the review. It was after it had been opened for a few months our server was just horrible she showed up zero attention and pretty much forgot about us after we ordered food and drinks. The server not once asked us for anything instead she was talking/flirting with a group of guys the whole time. At first I thought it was an episode of Punked because it service was sooooo bad but after maybe 30 minutes we couldn’t handle it anymore. It was the worst customer service we have ever had. We should have spoke to a manager to address the issue but we eventually finished out food and were forced to leave zero tip which we have never done before this. We have had bad experience because well who hasn’t but this was like gross negligence almost like she did it on purpose. My wife worked as a waitress for over 3 years so she understands the day to day tasks but it was that horrible that a zero tip was warranted. After the horrible experience we proceeded to tell everyone and anyone about the horrible time we had and still tell people not go to to Lazydog. We also have not set foot back into the restaurant and NEVER will.

Love Lazy Dog! This is probably one of my favorite places to go to for happy hour cause the drinks and food is amazing. Happy hour starts at 9pm and I usually get my regular of Peach or Raspberry Sangria. I’ve tried there beer sampler which is decent, but not great. The Wok-Fired Calamari and Brick Oven Pizza is the best! I even came here for brunch which is served on the weekends, and a must try is there Hawaiian Fried Rice and Blueberry Pancakes. I love there buttery pancakes cause the blueberries they actually mix in the batter. Finally, the dessert is White Chocolate Chip Brownie with hot fudge and vanilla ice cream. Soo yummy!

I like the food here. Been to Lazy Dog a couple of times. I would suggest going during their Happy Hours. You can call to confirm, but I think it’s from weekdays 3pm-6pm and 9pm-_?_pm. Happy hour is only at the bar area. I really like their Cajun fries. I get it every time. If you order the burgers, you can upgrade it to Cajun fries as one of the sides. It costs a little bit more. My friend and I ordered their burgers. It’s very juicy and flavorful. It’s pretty big and it’s hard to bit down. I was super full after just the burger and fries.

I came here before with my dogs and mother. We sat in the patio around 2 pm. Our waitress did not acknowledge us for some time. The wait for the drinks and food was even longer. The food was great but everything else made us not visit for a long time. I wanted to try the food again so last night my boyfriend and I visited. HARRISON gave us excellent service! He was knowledgable with food choices and drinks. I would come back because of the service we received from Harrison.

OMG where do I start? I have passed this place up for years!!! Didn’t know that this was most definitely the SPOT!!! Wish I would’ve taken pics of the food, but sometimes you just start to indulge and forget. They have the most amazing burgers and fries that I’ve tasted in a long time. I would give their burgers an high 5, and their Cajun fries are good to go. Customer service is great and I will be returning soon.

Besides the long wait, I always love the food here. It’s my first time eating at this location and I was blown away. Ashley, our server today, was amazing. She was on top of everything from water to sauces to recommending delicious meals. Ashley treated my family with class and great service. Definitely would ask for her if I were to come in again to this location. Thanks Lazy dog for the great dinner and I will return again! :) Thanks again, Ashley! 5 stars for your service. Definitely deserves a raise.

Okay, this place has a really awesome interior… has a good feeling to it. Nice wood and lighting. Outside they have a cool firepit. We came about 8 deep to watch MNF after school and partake in the happy hour. Sat in the communal hightop table at the bar. Our server was really good… this was 2 weeks ago but I think her name was Victoria. Having been a server before I was impressed with her professional friendly approach and communication. Pretty much ordered every item they have available for happy hour. All in all — I would say get the happy hour drink specials and if you want food just order off their regular menu. The happy hour portions are big — I do recommend the triple humus app… that was real good, the wings were good too. The nachos needed alot more cheese, the happy hour burger is nowhere near as good as their regular burger selection. The other happy hour apps weren’t memorable either way. Anywhoo, had a good time, def recommend this place for a casual time. Again, for food order off the reg menu(I like the mushroom swiss burger). For drinks we had giant carafes of sangrias. they were good.

Looking for a place to do a great dog exchange between my cousins in LA and us in Yorba Linda, we found this Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar. We had two dogs in tow, our new puppy and her best friend(my Dad’s dog) Bo. The folks at the front were kind enough to secure us a lovely table on the patio away from the twenty dog birthday party(I’m not kidding, there was a huge party for a dog’s birthday and lots of guests: canine and human). Bo/Frankie shared a meal of chicken/rice and I ate a decent salad. The dogs thought the culinary experience was incredible and they wolfed down their snack. I on the other hand thought my salad was fine but nothing to write home about. Service was great and our server was only too happy to bring us constant ice tea refills as well as an extra bowl so we could split the dog entrée in half. This Lazy Dog is located in a busy mall but we found parking relatively quickly. The patio is pretty large and great for dogs. I felt like we had a lot of room and was able to put down a dog mat for the puppy so she could lay down while we ate(that is when she wasn’t begging). All in all and A-OK experience and if we ever have a dog or two in Cerritos, I would definitely come back.

I tried lazy dog on two different occasions and was massively underwhelmed both times. I wanted to like it, truly I did. What a great setup, nice outdoor patio and my pup can come with me, what could be more perfect? The first time I went I had a pad Thai dish, my boyfriend had ribs, and my pup had the beef patty. I had to drown my dish in sriracha to create some flavor and the ribs were mediocre– but my dog did like the beef. We decided to try it again, a couple months later. I had the pasta carbonara, chicken strips for the bf, and we added gravy to my pups beef patty. It was much worse this time, the only one happy was my dog. The chicken strips had no seasoning at all, just bread crumb and meat. My boyfriend ate one chicken strip and ended up saving the rest for the dog – even with the sauce the strips were so bland and disgusting. All the salt and seasoning must have been added to my pasta, because it was ridiculously salty. It’s nice to have a place to take your dog, the plating is very pretty, but the food is not worth the price(both times we paid around $ 50 to be disappointed). You’d have a better meal getting fast food and going to the park with your dog. Very disappointing.

First time here: Tonights menu: Grilled soy salmon with cucumber salad(light n fesh… a little salty on the fresh veggies… maybe too much soy sauce) Walnut chicken salad sandwich(always a favorite said my friend) Along with sweet potato tots(yummy deep fried yet light tasting goodness) We got seated within 15 – 20 mins, on a Sunday no less, always a plus. Attentive service. And now… back to my cold salmon n veggies now that I’ve spent too much time on this review… lol

This was my second time ever coming to Lazy Dog after a bad experience at the Brea location. I wanted to give this location a shot, and I am really glad I did. I came here really late on a Friday night, and immediately ordered the poke to start. I ended up ordering a cobb salad. I had ordered this previously at the Brea location and ended up with a large bowl with not very much salad in it. At the Cerritos location, I was served a large bowl with a whole lot of salad in it. I was impressed. The waitress even brought me extra dressing and noted that one probably wouldn’t be enough. The salad had so much bacon and avocado. It was delicious! The blue cheese dressing complimented it perfectly too. Great service and great food at this location!

I had Lazy Dog recommend by a friend. When arriving I asked to be seated outside and pretty much immediately go so relaxed I didn’t think I’d ever move again. Very cozy and relaxed vibes. As I arrived for lunch I was first shown the back of the menu, white contains both the lunch specials(served until 4pm) and all the item they serve with LESS than 650 calories. Pretty cool, if I cared. ;) I ended up ordering the Ceviche Tostados, which is a seasonal dish. It’s chilled shrimp and mahi mahi, micro cilantro, bell peppers, tomatoes, jalapenos and citrus, served with guacamole on housemade mini tostadas. REALLY good. My beverage of choice was the decaf passion fruit ice tea. Which was just perfectly UNsweetend. You get sweeterners and sugar with it, if you prøver it sweet. All in all, a really good lunch in a relaxed environment. I’ll definitely be back.

Lazy Dog is what I consider to be main stream as it is a chain with food that’s decent for the price. Stopped in with friends and tried out some dishes. This isn’t my first visit to Lazy Dog but it is my first visit in a couple of years. First thing I noticed was the menu had changed since my last visit. This is great as I like dishes to change while keeping top sellers on the menu. One of which was the chicken tortilla soup… huge in portion and flavorful. The mac n cheese left a bit more to be desired as it states it has bacon and hatch chili but none of the flavors were present. The chicken enchiladas had a pretty good flavor for being on the lite menu and the chicken poblano with tamale cakes was the winner of the night. I have to say I was impressed with this dish… tons of flavor, presentation was cool and I’m not sure what type of cheese was in the tamale cakes but it was damn good. Service was cool. There was a small mix up with the soup in the beginning but nothing critical and nothing on our waiters part as the confusion came from another. I remember my last visit a couple of years back being somewhat of a miss but this trip the experience was a lot better. Dinner 8÷7÷2015

Happy hour here is the best. Lazy Dog has been here for like 2 – 3 years now and every time I’ve come here it’d been during happy hour. That’s good considering there are other places in the area that I’d never consider going to even if it’s for happy hour. But it’s bad compared to the places that I always think of when I’m hungry. The thing about Lazy Dog’s menu is that it’s modern fusion food with like American, Asian, Hispanic, and a dash of Middle Eastern foods mixed in there. With high prices. A lot of their menu items and prices were similar to a gastropub’s menu that I’d just been to except lazy dog is a chain and the gastropub was locally owned. Where would I rather spend my money? The local gastropub. But Lazy Dog has happy hour and the gastropub that I’m comparing Lazy Dog to doesn’t. That’s why you’d find me here during happy hour. Food is nicely presented. The happy hour Cajun fries were a lot for $ 3. Crispy with a kick of spice. We didn’t even finish it because the layers of fries were never ending. Chicken tenders are good. Décor is cozy. Plus you can bring your dog on the patio.

Ever since trying this place, it is quickly becoming one of my fave spots to dine. It isn’t the fanciest, nor is it the worst! For myself, it is just right! I have had good experiences coming here, especially with what I have had to eat! Located right in Cerritos Mall, this place is already situated in an area that has a variety of other eateries! I have had their burgers and fries mostly. On my last visit however, I came with a group of 7. Mostly everybody in my group opted for burgers and/or fettucine alfredo pasta, which is amazing by the way. I ordered their fennel sausage, goat cheese and mushroom pizza. What caught my eye? The mushrooms! Yes their pizzas here are just amazing. They come with 8 – 10 small slices. I was barely able to finish mine. I did not share! Yes that’s right! It is spacey inside with a beautiful outdoor patio to sit and enjoy your food as well. Happy hour here is from Monday through Friday at 3−6pm. On Thursday through Sunday in the bar/patio area, happy hour runs from 9pm until close. Yes I also have had their 6 beer sampler which runs about approximately $ 7. They give you some of their brewed concoctions, my favorites being their Red ale and their Lazy Dog IPA. It is definitely worth the try. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Lazy Dog. I like the name, I enjoy the eats and I dig the courteous service everytime I come. By the way, at times there can be a wait. If so, feel free to cruise around the mall until you are called upon.

On my one recent visit here I found this Lazy Dog to be a place very friendly to dogs and diners of all ages. Servers were friendly; the place bright and inviting; and the food ample in quantity and above average in quality. My 2-year-old granddaughter enjoyed her Kid’s Pizza, French Fries, and slices of carrot and avocado. Smart girl! An Inside Out Quesadilla was filled with gooey Jack and Cheddar Cheeses. A big and fresh Wedge Salad with Bleu Cheese Dressing was excellent. And, a large and hot Chicken Pot Pie loaded with potatoes, carrots, peas, and fresh white meat chicken was a bit peppery and salty, but otherwise quite tasty. With dog décor on walls and statuary, this is a great place for dog lovers. But I would not recommend it for cat aficionados.
