My daughter wanted some designer donuts for her birthday party and we called and spoke to AL, he was the son of the owner here. He was so open to all of Our ideas and concepts and we decided to buy the donuts for him. He made peanut butter and jelly donuts, matcha green tea donuts, Oreo donuts, Smores donuts, Blueberry surprise donuts and Macon and bacon. We served it as a donut cake and it was delicious! This is THE place for wedding favors and or donut favors! They were so accommodating and so nice… Definitely a place for customized donuts. See some pics.

I was craving a breakfast burrito so I figured, why not stop here? It was my first time trying the burrito and it one of the tastiest breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. All of the ingredients were perfectly balanced. It’s not like all of the other places where they fill the whole burrito up with just eggs and hash browns with a smudge of sausage. This place has the perfect balance of eggs, hash browns, sausage, ham, cheese, and they top it off with their own secret sauce ! Put a little bit of fresh salsa on it and you got yourself the perfect burrito !

Since it’s National Donut Day and I haven’t had a donut in years I decided that I would go and finally have one! I went to this donut shop because I’ve drove by so many times. I checked out the Unilocal review and it’s pretty good so I went in. There were so many donuts to choose from! I felt like a kid in a candy shop lol. Anyhoot, I choose the blueberry donut. I’ve only had the blueberry donut from m&m so that’s the only one I can compare it to. It tastes a like but not as sweet, which is good! I don’t eat sweets too often because it’s too sweet for me. I hate it when I can’t eat just one whole donut or scoop of ice cream when I decide to indulge. I ate the whole donut and it was satisfying. The worker recommended my boyfriend to get the breakfast burrito with their secret sauce! When the burrito came out, it was huge! My boyfriend loved that it was packed, especially with the secret sauce! And I had a bite, delicious!

Spectacular customer service. Donuts are light and fluffy. Hidden little gem. Tried the blueberry donut and it was delicious, not overpowering or too sweet.

Still come here for my early morning donuts! Finally decided to sit and relax on a Saturday Morning on their chairs inside the store and just enjoy the day off. The two store owners came over and gave me a free donut and coffee and said this one on this house! They said thank you for being a regular here! All about that blueberry donuts!

Went here with the wife to get a sugar fix… nice lady behind the counter… all set and ordering a nice dozen of donuts… me and the wife picking out our choice donuts… then it comes down to the last donut and we couldn’t decide so we get another glaze circle… lady gets it and says is that it… BOMBSHELL… My wife taps me on the shoulder and says, «umm baby what is that»??? I’m hoping it’s not what I think it is… I slowly turn and right there inside the case maybe like 2 centimeters away from the donuts we just put in our unlucky dozen was a damn ROACH!!! Yes u read right… A freaking ROACH!!! I look at my wife and she looks at me and she said just go… My wife tells the lady and she is very apologetic but sorry doesn’t get roach droppings and whatever else them nasty things have off those donuts. I get to the car freaking the eff out cuz I was almost about to eff up some roach donuts… never again… HOLYMOLYDONUTSHOPFRFR!!! made me not what to go to any donut shop in the area… U HAVEBEENWARNEDPEOPLE!!!

I have been coming to this donut deli for a few years now. They seem to be the only one that serves french crullers. The shop is located in a small plaza next to a florist and some other small shops. Even though there aren’t a lot of parking slots, I always seem to get front row parking which makes the experience even better. The shop is kept clean and tidy. They also sell Lottos here so you will see their«winner wall» on the left hand side next to the drink fridges. The lady owner is always smiley and nice when I visit. The male owner is not a smiler but still provides good service. They have a large variety of donuts and again, they are the only local place I know of that still serves crullers. Keep in mind, the cruller supply is limited as the lady shop owner told me the special flour mix is quite expensive and does not hold a wide profit margin. Hence, not very many donut delis carry the product. The owner continued to say, they have many customers that keep coming back for those so they keep it(one of the customers is my husband). Even though they are a small shop, they are always keeping up with the times on specialty flavors(such as the blueberry). Items I have tried: Ham n cheese croissant: The croissant is nicely baked, the ham and cheese is a small strip but is delicious when rolled up. They offer to heat it up when ordered. Jalapeño ham n cheese croissant: May favorite. I think this is the only place that offers it. Same ingredients as the regular with the exception of jalapeño. It is melt in your mouth cheesy goodness. Donut holes: Never tastes only but nothing beyond average. Both owners often throw in a donut hole or two when I order a few donuts. Jelly filled glazed donuts: Nicely made, jelly filled and delicious. Strawberry french cruller: The outside is nice and fried and the inside is soft and chewy. The flavor is definitely different from regular plain donuts so never settle for less if any other shop tells you it’s the same thing. Blueberry donuts: Nicely glazed and filled with blueberries. Very authentic. Bear paw: This is huge! This is my favorite donut shop. Again, they are mostly old fashioned but they do try and keep up with the times to satisfy the new generation. I will continue to frequent this shop for my donut and jalapeño ham and cheese needs.

This is the place to go for a donut run. Even in the middle of the night– open 24 hours. Outside: The sign doesn’t really say ‘Rainbow Donuts’. There is a picture of a rainbow, and underneath, the word ‘rainbow’. So I always knew it as ‘Donut Deli’, which is essentially the signage out front. Parking is a breeze. Service: — Great service. I always call in to see what’s fresh, & the workers are nice enough to give info on what’s coming out & what is fresh. — I’ve spoken to 3 different people: a lady, an older man, & a younger worker. All have been great about suggestions & giving me more than what I paid for. — Older man is funnier than I thought he’d be. Joking around, even in the middle of the night when some people would be bored or tired. Talked me into buying an extra donut, but really gave it to me for a quarter. — I was called back by the younger worker so he could give me a blueberry donut to try(said I wouldn’t have room for the blueberry one and declined to buy it, & I guess as a 2nd thought, he decided just to give me one). — The lady gave me a sample of the cruller, which tasted kind of like those long Chinese breakfast ‘donuts’, but kind of soggy on the inside. It was dusted w/sugar, crunchy on the outside, and soft, almost soggy on the inside. It was really nice of them to be personable and willing to give samples. Donuts: — That blueberry one was great. I’m really happy the worker chased me w/a sample since now, I’m sure to get one every time I go. — Other donuts: solid. Nothing bad to say. My friends and I actually did a taste test of glazed, buttermilk, and old fashioned for 4 different places(B&B, Granny’s, Rainbow, &US). Rainbow won ever test.

Although it shows up as Rainbow Donuts in searches. Their sign actually says Donut Deli… I went here later on a Friday night and it was not very good. The dining area wasn’t very clean, and the service wasn’t good. As for the donuts, they were expensive and bad. They tasted like bread with old frosting on them. There are definitely places in the area with better donuts and service. They do however have a wide range of other products from frozen beverages to cigarettes to ramen.

I bought a half dozen of donuts and they were extremely greasy. Now, I know that donuts are greasy and I am not expecting them to be healthy. But by the time I got home, the bottom of the box was soaked in donut oils. The sugar donuts were soft, but left a greasy, unpleasant«oil has been used too many times» flavor. I threw all five donuts away!

Yaaaaaaasssss!!! My cravings are fulfilled and only 4 minutes from my house! The blueberry donut is everything!!! Iced or without they’re both amazing! The staff is so sweet and don’t judge me for going crazy with greed! And she even threw in some extra for free! I will definitely be a regular, I’ve been 3 times already! Totally inexpensive for the variety of donuts! The tiger tails are so bomb! As I’m writing this review I’m planning on going tonight! I’m from LA where donuts are some of the best and these are definitely up there! When you go plan on your eyes being bigger than you stomach and bring cash!

Every time I bring donuts for my coworkers I always go here! Primarily because it’s close in proximity to the freeway and where I live. The lady at the front is always nice and willing to help. This place is ran by really nice people! One time I came to get a donut just for myself and I was running super later to work, and I ran out without my donut but came back quickly and she made she kept it for me. Really nice people! They also give a small discount if you’re a regular and buy a dozen. It’s never too busy either. Will continue coming back!

I’d like to start off by saying that there is no pot of gold at the end of this Rainbow. It’s unfortunate really seeing as there is potential and the location of this donut establishment is primo. But when the customer service resembles that of a fire breathing dragon, you realize you’ve entered the wrong fairy tale and you can’t pay and get your enchanted ass out of there fast enough. The donuts were ok… nothing stellar or special for that matter. I’m not sure I would come back again… how could you not smile when you’re working with donuts? Mind boggling, I know!

I only come here when I want blue berry donuts… which is basically every day of my life but given that donuts are«el diablo»(the devil) when you are striving to loose weight… I ever so sadly stay away. But the minute I fit into my skinny jeans I will be back. I am not a fan of the blueberry donuts with the frosting(or whatever it is) because they are too sweet for me. But if you are into sweet then you should try it. If not then just stick the glazed blueberry donuts they are delicious! *Note CASHONLY. Also KNOW that other people are also aware of the deliciousness of blueberry donuts so I would advise to call in advance to see if they still have some.

Looks like I’m going to be the dissenting voice here. I’ve stopped by a couple of times to get my post lunch sugar fix and have been completely disappointed each time. Rainbow Donuts is located in a small strip mall on South Street and Pioneer Blvd with lots of parking in front. At around 2 p.m. the place has always been empty save the old gentleman behind the counter. I’ve tried their regular, glazed, chocolate iced, cream filled and cake based donuts along with their chocolate bars over a period of time. Price wise these are pretty cheap at 85c a pop. The reason for the one star is that all the donuts that I have got have been stale. Over five visits not once did I get produce that was even remotely fresh. I’m not sure if this is related to the timing of my visit, but there is nothing fresh available in the afternoons. Some donuts like the cream filled ones seemed to have been a couple of days old as the cream filling had started to turn sour. The cake based ones seemed to be weeks old as they had the dry crumbly texture that you get when cake dries out. The regular, glazed and chocolate iced donuts were simply one of the worst donuts that I’ve had. My recommendation for donuts around Cerritos would be B&B Donuts on Artesia and Norwalk in the same plaza that houses Cho Dang Tofu house which I would recommend over Rainbow donuts any day.

Lick it! Get your mind out of the gutter! It gets messy eating sugar donut and you have to lick your lips. Mmmm sugary sweet lips. Sugar donut for $ 0.85 if you are still hungry because your dinner sucks. My ninja knew I was still hungry. They sell lottery tickets and they display the winning tickets on the winner wall proudly. Get your lottery tickets here and maybe you’ll get lucky. The donut was just okay but the lady was super nice. Maybe because I got the donut kinda late but I only ate half of the donut. 3 stars! Rainbow Donuts is almost yummylicious!

French Cruller donuts are one of my favorites and this places carries them. This place has been bookmarked! This place has a nice selection of donuts. Since they have French Crullers, this place has the usual variety of donuts that one would seek out. The woman behind the counter was helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this donut place when you’re in the area. I enjoyed my French Crullers on this visit and hope to be in the area in the near future.
