This review is for their buffet. I came here about 1 ½ hrs before the buffet closed and I felt like the pickings were pretty slim. Maybe it’s better if you’re one of the first ones there. There were a mix of veggies and meat dishes and typical buffet fare. Nothing really stood out as exceptional though. I will say that what I was able to try of the remaining veggie dishes was spicy and flavorful. They also had self serve mango lassi which was a plus… but the lassi itself was just OK. Not a fan of the chai.

One of the best Indian restaurant around in this area… we have ordered take out and eat-in and very authentic indian food. My favorite is chicken makhani and malai kofta(veg).

This is the first Indian food I had that is not a buffet. The crispy bread they served at the beginning is delicious. The lamb is a little dry but generally OK. We went on a Tuesday night so it is really quiet. Server is nice and attentive. I would rate overall as a nice experience, would probably go back again.

Great Indian food, ok service. Lamb wasn’t all gristly and oily. Spice was flavorful are just right heat, as I tend to like spicy but not just burn for burns sake.

Wife and I had dinner here recently. Food was amazing. Service was awesome. The pre-meal appetizer was phenomenal and their sauces incredible. Best Indian I’ve had in a long time.

Today was our first visit to Aman’s and we had a delightful time. The servers were very attentive, the food was great, and the restaurant was clean. We ordered veg samosas, they were a bit bland but still good, followed by an order of chicken pakora which was just perfectly seasoned. Our entrees were delightful, my significant other ordered lamb roganjosh which was very tasty. The lamb meat was succulent. I ordered the Chhole, a vegetarian dish, it was perfectly spiced. We ended our meals with honey balls or gulab jamun, my fave! Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant, it is extremely affordable. However, some notes were missed on the flavor of the veg samosas and on the texture of the Naan bread.

Excellent service, dined in and got a trio of naan, chicken vindalu and chicken tikka masala. All delicious. When we needed it to take home they gladly packed it up wonderfully. Very attentive and courteous. Definitely will be going back.

Aman’s has been the one and only Indian restaurant I patronize whenever I’m craving an excellent and classic Indian/Indo-chinese meal. The location in east norriton is no longer under the same owner as told to me by the staff. The standard of food in east norriton is not even close to the standard Aman’s Chalfont has. Highly recommended and 6 stars if there was an option.

I’ve been fortunate enough to eat at Aman’s multiple times — whether inside the dining area or order takeout. My experience with their food has been outstanding, especially considering the lack of Indian restaurants within the area. When you enter, you’re in this weird side room with their takeout counter, and have to walk through another door to enter the dining room, which is open and spacious. Nothing fancy, but it does the trick and makes you feel a bit homey. When we went with a large group, we sat in the middle of the restaurant at a large rectangle table(well a bunch of small tables put together to form it). The service is a bit slow, as it takes some time for them to bring you food and drinks, and you have to flag them down often. Their food is on point! I’ve eaten a variety of dishes here, too many to remember to list and review, but I know I haven’t been disappointed. Recently, we ordered the Shahi paneer for takeout and it was fantastic. I know it’s good because my brother is a picky eater and any time we order from or go to Aman’s he says we have to get that. We order it spicy every time and it hits the spot, every time. We also got the aloo gobi and that was tasty too. The cauliflower is extremely large, but they cook it well so that it is easy to cut, as well as the chunks of potatoes. You can taste the spices and the time/preparation that goes into their cooking, leaving you as satisfied as if you just had a home-cooked meal, which is a huge compliment considering home-cooked Indian food is(in my opinion) so much better than restaurants. Their naan and rice are standard, nothing special, and I always ask for the extra red onions sauce, which tastes great. Overall, a great staple in the community and definitely a place I’ll continue to go to, especially when my mom isn’t home!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant that I have been to so far. I can say enough to be honest. The food and service here is so good I could eat here 3 or 4 times a week. Each Indian restaurant is different and this one is very special. Please give it a try you will not be sorry trust me.

Wow. This place rocks! I am so pleasantly surprised by the very delicious, authentic Indian fare from this restaurant located in a strip center in Chalfont. The décor has a zen, modern feel with Indian/Bollywood music in the background. Complimentary lentil chips(I think pappadum) with 3 condiments were served upon arrival. All of which were delicious. We ordered and shared the food family style. Started with the vegetarian special platter appetizer. All items were very tasty and the vegetable samosa was perfectly light and crispy. The chicken curry was a red curry with the right amount of spice and perfectly tender. The methi malai mutter was so flavorful and aromatic– truly an outstanding vegetarian dish. Both paired nicely with the traditional naan. We ordered our dishes with medium spice, which was enough to make my hubby break into a sweat and had me reaching for a tissue. Perfect! We will definitely be back. There is so much more to try!

Old friend, how I’ve missed you! I had gone nearly 4.5 years without your warm embrace, the memory of your dal makhani on my mind since we last parted. This weekend, everything changed. Mirchi bhajji, dal makhani, saag paneer, nav ratna korma, bhindi, and naan, all delicious and served up fresh and hot on your glorious lunch buffet. While I ate so much prior to my flight home and surely bloated so thoroughly that I was occupying both my middle seat and half of the window seat next to me, I wouldn’t change a thing. Actually, that’s not true. I would see to it that you join me in North Carolina.

I work in Chicago and have been spoiled by excellent Indian food on seemingly every corner. Home for the weekend, I decided to give Aman’s a shot given its 4.5 star rating on Unilocal. The restaurant itself is busy and kind of cramped but I’m not one to let that affect my experience. I was hoping to be able to order off the menu but lunch was buffet style. Selection wise there wasn’t much there, maybe 5 dishes of which 2 were Hakka Indian-Chinese style. The Indian-Chinese food was actually decent, the chili chicken was spicy but tough like it had been sitting out for a few hours(which it probably had) and the Hakka noodles were tasty. The Indian food, however, was miserable. The chicken tikka masala was devoid of spice and tasted like chicken served in milk. Awful dish, I was embarrassed for the chef. The saag paneer was runny and devoid of spice as well and generally a mess. The tandoori chicken was bland but cooked nicely. I don’t really get why this place is so highly rated and so busy, the food is less than mediocre and the service is sloppy(the guy pouring water was spilling it on the tables, a waiter pushes around a really unappetizing cart collecting dirty dishes.) Never again. 2 stars because the Hakka food was very decent.

Absolutely love this place. I’m from the UK where Indian food is excellent and this place(so far) is the only place that’s on par(or above). Excellent byob place. Chicken jalfrezi. .excellent. mango chutney… always a win. Naan basket… yes! Veg samosas hot temperature but yes! Lol Will be returning here again and again. The one in phoenixville is good but the chalfont one is ever so slightly better. 100% recommended! !!!

I am an Indian and one of my passions/hobbies is cooking. Indian cooking being native to me, I have been a very big critic of Indian restaurants in the US. This place made me happy. The service is very inviting and the food has a lot of variety(love the north indian focus.) love its breads and appetizers the most

Aman’s is simply AMAZING! I love the food here. When you first enter the ambience isn’t amazing«5-star quality» but this is also an affordable restraint so it makes sense. In addition Aman’s is BYOB which I know many people would greatly enjoy. There are many choices on the menu and I recommend picking a few different things and sharing them«family style,» instead of just eating your own entrée by yourself. I’ve been to Aman’s twice, the first time Was a while ago but I had remembered it was yummy so my dad and I decided to go here tonight. We started off with the veggie samosas. They were so delicious and my dad, who is a big fan of Indian food, said these were some of the best he has had. As for entrees I requested the chicken tikka masala and my dad got two veggie dishes for us that I forget the name of(maybe molly kahn and a spinach dish). All of it dishes were amazing and came with a big bowl of rices. Also the bread that comes with the entrees is delicious. Everything here is delicious.

My wife and I love this place. Service is great. It’s a BYOB. Food is outstanding. They have gift certificates on , which is what brought us here the first and second time. If you like Indian, this place is for you. What we’ve tried: Appetizers: Gobi Manchurian(cauliflower) is amazing. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy with the crispy texture of the cauliflower. Chicken Kabob was also very good and a good price. Can’t not like a chicken-kabob. Bread: Garlic naan. No need to ask questions. This stuff is incredible and we’re averaging two orders per visit. Chicken: Tikka Masala is always a go to because that sauce is the taste of heaven. So darn buttery you just can’t stop eating it. The Chicken Patia is another good option. Slightly sweeter than I usually go for with an entrée, but the mango curry is very tasty. Lamb: Roganjosh is our go-to. Love the flavor and the big chunks of lamb. And the Kadhai is in a similar dark sauce with tomatoes and peppers. My wife and I both said we’d get it again. Fish: The tandoori salmon(or fish tikka) was good, but not my favorite because it does get a little dry. I prefer tandoori chicken for sure, but with some lemon it’s pretty good, just probably wouldn’t get it again. Already bought our next certificate and can’t wait to go back and try new things. Highly recommend Aman’s.
