Wayback Burgers

I took the family to this location on Friday ²⁄₁₉ at about 8pm. We ordered four burgers and a couple cod sandwiches and milkshakes. The burgers were cooked fresh and came out perfect. Rolls were soft, cheese melted and hot, burgers juicy and fresh.
My three boys raved about the milkshakes and the cod was really frsh and tasty. We were given coupons by the Manager (Thomas I think?) for a return visit and the staff asked us how everything tasted, very good follow up on our order. The order taker was really helpful too, we will be back soon!

Hubby and I are on a quest to try all the hottest new burger chains, and this one came highly recommended. We stopped in for lunch and had burgers and shakes. The burgers were pretty good, but not amazing and fairly expensive. However, we now get email coupons and specials which do a great job offsetting the expense.
And the milkshakes? Out of this world! Hubby had a strawberry one, and I had the week’s special flavor, and we spend the rest of the afternoon debating who chose the better milkshake.
We have been back several times for lunch, and more often for a shake as a treat. Our go-​to place after seeing a movie on date night.

I can’t figure out how to give 2.5 stars. The food itself was great but I went in for the first time today for lunch. 5 people standing around and only two customers eating. I ordered two burgers one with tomato, one with cheese lettuce tomato and pickles. They put everything on the hamburger nothing but cheese on the cheeseburger. I additionally they had stacked the two burgers together and they peeled the cheese off the hamburger. Complete laziness. Again the food was good but getting home to the wrong order makes this place a one and done for me.

Came here for dinner with my family. Initially I wasn’t impressed. Literally none of the employees knew what the veggie burgers were made of (yes, it’s easy to say veggies duh… but some are made with black beans, some are made with sweet potatoes etc.). After several workers asked one another to no avail, I ended up getting the cod. It was actually really good. It was not over breaded nor was it soggy.
They have a .99 kids meal special which both of the children I was with enjoyed. The night we went, Elmo was there and all of the kids enjoyed this too.
Only three stars because you can see them working the grill and once they put raw meat on, they do not switch gloves to handle other food i. e buns, fries, food trays, etc. Other than that, I would definitely return.

The milkshakes are excellent, although they take a little long here. The fries are also good, crispy and just enough salt.
Haven’t tried the burgers because they look too expensive for a burger.
They also seem to be habitually understaffed.
Décor is fun.

2^nd time here, always enjoy a quick lunch of burger, fries and shakes. Great for something different, they always have a burger of the month which I love. The staff is helpful which is a plus!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The good folks that work here are super duper cool! Very pleasant atmosphere. Customer service is 100% awesome. And food!?! Wow! Can you tell it was my 1^st time!?! Lol the food was so good!!! There were three of us. I had the inverted bun burger with amer cheese and chipotle sauce! YUMMM!
The other two had a vege burger and Fritos burger with chili and WE ALL ate our burger in like 5 minutes flat! HA! Good job Waybach we WILL be returning!!! …tomorrow! Lol

Got a burger here today & a grilled chicken sandwich for my wife. My burger was ok but my wife’s chicken sandwich was a joke. Take a look at the photos for this place and you will see the picture I uploaded to show what they consider to be a sandwich. It’s shameful really… half the sandwich didn’t have any chicken.
Given the price of this place (and their crappy «sandwiches»), you’d be better off going to any other burger joint. Our total bill was over $ 22 for a burger, chicken «sandwich», onion rings and a shake (also small considering what you get elsewhere btw).

My husband and I have been twice and my sons (20 and 26) have been 4 times. The staff is very friendly, the food was fresh and I really enjoyed the milkshake which comes in a junior size which I appreciated. Plus, the fries were hot and crisp (one of my pet peeves). We have tried several of the burgers– standards and specials and have been happy with all of the versions.

Tried the suggested burger of the month– the southwest tumbleweed burger– and I was very pleased. Everything was delivered to our table cooked to perfection and in a timely manor. While I did read a review regarding the price for Wayback– there are fast food restaurants like Burger King if you would rather sacrifice quality for price. Wayback is a great alternative to five guys or the like.

For almost $ 20, my husband and I each got a 1 patty specialty burger and a jr size milkshake. We shared a small order of fries. So it should have been great!
The burgers had no taste, no texture. They and their buns were anemic and floppy. Really just didn’t even taste like meat.
The fries were not very hot. Not crispy. Not flavorful. Even sharing a small order between us, we didn’t finish them.
None of it was Bad… just not good! Boring, blah
The milkshakes were good. But not good enough to come back to eat.
We were told that this was like 5 Guys. Kinda like filet mignon is like a hot dog.

The burgers here are pretty good. I personally like thinner burgers, not some monstrosity that is too big to take a bite of, and their burgers are on the thinner side. Probably go for double patties if you want a lot of burger. The toppings are good and not skimpy.
The staff tends to be younger which sometimes leads to some issues, like forgetting to include any dipping sauces you’ve ordered (and paid for) if you’re ordering takeout. I usually order online and my husband goes to pick up and he’s often left without items we’ve ordered because he, y’know, expects the staff to ensure all items are present before they say, «Have a good night» and send him on his way. It’s frustrating but the burgers are good and it’s close to our house, so we continue to order takeout when we want burgers but don’t want to cook or go out.

I’m still not really sure about this place. The employees were very nice and helpful. I would go one more time to try a burger again. The burgers remind me somewhat of five-​guys but i just found the whole burger to be really soft and I felt like I was slurping my burger. You need two hands to hold it up/​together. It didn’t taste bad, it just tasted like I could go somewhere else for the same price and better food. As mentioned in another reviews comment, get two patties as they are really thin. I don’t know, just not my type of burger. Fries were meh, probably wouldn’t get them again. Also got a coffee milkshake, I’m sorry but ew. Tasted like fake vanilla flavour and cream. Not very good.

Been there twice with 2 completely different experiences. First time the burger was absolutely delicious and I couldn’t wait to go back. The second time all I could taste was grease which was also dripping off of the burger and onto the plate. I couldn’t even finish it. Still, will give it another try as it could’ve been a new trainee who cooked the second burger.

Good choice for a burger and fries. Very new and hip place. Went on a Saturday, line was almost out the door. Service was decent for place that had just opened, I am sure it will improve with time. Perfect size for the burger. Will return and try a shake next time. Nice addition to Chalfont.

Always willing to try a new burger joint and this one is going to be a gold mine in Chalfont because there really isn’t anything else like it less Chee Burger Chee Burger.
The place was definitely busy. As others mentioned, the staff is very friendly and the place is super clean. Plenty of choices on the menu or you can create your own burger.
I definitely would recommend getting two patties versus one because they are very thin. My girlfriend got a single patty and there was more bun than beef. I tried the Rodeo Burger with double patties and it was really good. Very fresh since all the food is MTO. The burgers weren’t really greasy either which was a pleasant surprise.
Great place to fulfill that burger and shake craving.

Okay. I liked these burgers better than I like Five Guys Burgers (and they have BACON –something Five Guys does not!)They also have awesome onion rings. The interior is small but quaint and clean. There is a ‘bar’ you can sit at and look out the window or you can sit as tables. There is one big screen TV.
I was there a few days after it opened, and the cashiers/​cooks were cheerful and enthusiastic. I think the are still working out the kinks, but that’s to be expected an didn’t detract at all from the experience. One thing I’d suggest — it is a bit confusing when it comes to ordering. Do you sit down and wait for someone to take your order or do you order at the counter?
You order at the counter. leave your name, and then an employee will bring it out to you. I wish this was made clear as soon as you walk in.
Other than that — the buns were fresh — the hamburgers fabulous — the fries were good and the onion rings outstanding. I also tried to Wayback sauce — a mixture of BBQ and mustard — pretty good for onion ring dipping.
