I wanted to try something new so I stopped by this place to pick up a menu to see if I wanted to get lunch here or at any of the nearby stores in the vicinity. I walked in and as soon as I went to pick up a menu, I was asked«CAN I HAVE A NAMEFORTHISORDER?» by a rude, older woman who seemingly did not have any social skills. I told her I was still deciding whether or not I wanted to eat here and I would let her know if I wanted to order something. I took a while to order because there were a lot of options(which often isn’t a good thing for any one restaurant). Believe it or not, a veggie burger was $ 8.79 here. Ridiculous, and the lettuce looked near rotten and the cold slaw tasted like garbage. Way too overpriced.

The first time I went to this place with my husband and my daughter we had a server(older female blonde hair) come up to us and rudely take our order. Okay everyone has a bad day that’s fine. After that we still went back a couple of times and had no problem with any of the younger servers. So I asked my husband to run a few errands and grab me a large Oreo vanilla milkshake. First he had trouble using the card she asked for ID and he didn’t have any because it was my card. Obviously it wouldn’t look like him. But he explained to her it was his wife’s card and she swiped it. So he went out and came back and when he came up to the counter she hands him a large VANILLA milkshake. Okay he calmly says«I ordered a a Oreo vanilla milkshake» She rudely almost yells at him saying how he ordered a vanilla milkshake and it had no Oreos. It was such a simple fix she could have made but decided to argue with a customer. Very smart. I call her back and I ask for a refund but then she tries to argue with me on the phone! It’s like she’s never worked in the service industry or even know how to talk to someone else like a human being. Maybe it’s just my family she doesn’t like me or my husband. I have actually heard her take other people’s orders and she wasn’t rude to them. I should have recorded the conversation or something but I have never had anyone talk to me like that before. Honestly I just wouldn’t go to cheeburger anymore. The food isn’t amazing and I like being treated like a human being. Maybe if she likes you you’ll be fine. I would ask for the manger but I’m assuming it’s her since she said she would put a refund on my card.

We have eaten in the restaurant several times, with 2 adults and 4 kids the bill with tip generally comes out around $ 70. The food is ok and the kids like it. Shakes are good. Generally the waitstaff is friendly and helpful, but it’s hit or miss. Today was enough of a bad experience that I will not be going back. I called in an order for pick-up. The manager answered the phone, began to take my order, then had a two minute conversation with someone in the waitstaff without saying«excuse me for a minute» or anything to me. That wasn’t bad enough yet though. After I placed my order, she said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I let her know that I wouldn’t need it for 30 minutes, which she replied to saying that orders go in to the kitchen as soon as she enters them and can’t be changed(this is a very small restaurant with little staff, keep in mind). As I was asking her to cancel the order so I could call back later to re-order, she hung up on me. That’s enough. No reason to tolerate a rude manager for mediocre food. I hope this place finds better staff or closes so that something nice can take it’s place. FYI… Wayback Burgers is right around the corner. 429 W Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA18917(267) 477‑1786

Very nice atmosphere and service. I went for the ONe Pounder ! No need to order sides with it.

After ordering take out burgers from here twice(which were awesome!), I decided to bring my family here for dinner. We all ordered various burgers with different toppings, milkshakes and the best of both worlds fries/rings and sweet potato fries. Although dinner was a little pricey($ 72 for the 5 of us… all the toppings really adds a lot price-wise to each burger), we really enjoyed our burgers immensely! Tender, juicy, melt in your mouth… the onion rings were sooo good(light, crispy batter). Milkshakes were delicious!!! The service was friendly and we ordered, ate and were out in under an hour. Would definitely come back.

Yikes, Unilocalers. This place is nasty. There was a fly in my salad that has been there so long it was withered and may have been decomposing. We let the manager know and showed her the fly, she apologized and quickly dashed in attempts to not alert other patrons. After the fly in the salad«mishap», I couldn’t enjoy the rest of my lunch obvi. Then management came back to say«Hi ladies, how did you enjoy your lunch» Lol. «Um, you mean the fly you dipped in ranch for me, it was terrible». She seemed shocked and offended. I said, «Welp, you asked!» No attempts in reducing the price, just quickly dashed. Stay away!

I’m so sad. I wanted to have a new burger joint. I wanted to find a great place like. I wanted to feel like I was at a 50s diner. I didn’t get any of that. What I got was food so greasy, it was inedible. I had been to the Langhorne location before and really enjoyed it. Since I recently moved up this way I was excited to find a cheeburger within 5 min of my home. We ordered take out bc the hubs has cancer and is currently bed ridden. He hadn’t eaten in days and had a craving for a burger and fountain soda. The pros: ok burger. Way to greasy, but edible. I was mad that I could only get medium or burnt, as I’m a rare girl. That prob made it taste worse to me. The lettuce on my burger was gross and brown. Burger was a good size, topping were forgotten. Milkshake was awesome, as was cherry cola fountain soda. Fried mac and cheese-delish The cons: fries sucked. Greasy mess, cold and limp. Sampler was small as heck. That made me sad. Fried pickles were disgusting. So grease covered they couldn’t even be eaten. Like I tried one, now my stomach hurts. Did I mention grease, yea lots of grease that my phone actually has a film I can’t get off. Ewwww. $ 50 for 3 burgers, an inedible greasy sampler(other than the mac and cheese), shitty fries, a milk shake and fountain soda. I won’t be back, except for maybe a shake, they do have a million options, but otherwise this place is NOT worth it

Meh, wasn’t feeling burgers and fries that night so we got salads. My family and I are used to the Cheeburger Cheeburger in Langhorne, so I was used to the level of satisfaction I had experienced there and was expecting the same. Did not get the same level here in Chalfont. My salad was issing half of the extras I ordered. They were super chincy with the dressing. There was a ton of lettuce and very little room left for half the other toppings I ordered. The chicken on the salad was a small portion and not done to any kind of industry standard. My spouse got the veggie patty salad. The patty was cold. Ill be heading to Langhorne for my Cheeburger fix in the future.

ABSOLUTELYHORRIBLE!!! Don’t even waste your time walking into this place. It took over 20 minutes for us to order our drinks, took forever to get our food. For one adult meal and 2 kids meals was over $ 40 and the kids meal doesn’t even come with the milkshake, which cost $ 4 and is the size of a kids cup. The manager was the worst part of my experience out of everything. She doesn’t even look happy, she yells at her employees in front of the customers, and she isn’t very nice to her customers. The food sucked, burgers fall apart as you eat them, fries were under cooked and the kids meal burger was very tiny… way more bread then meat. There are plenty of other places around to go to eat. That manager does not deserve any business with the way she acts, she is very immature.

My kids like this place better than I do. The only thing worth ordering are the burgers. They are very good. They also have great milkshakes. Other than that, everything is fried. If you are a calorie counter… This is not the place for you. This one is under new management and the service was very good. I’m a big tipper for servers that are good to my kids, and they always are. The down side is that it always takes a long one to get your food. Better than before. A nice afternoon treat.

Great place to have a burger and a shack. I’ll be back again with the family. The service was great and the burgers were done just the way we ordered them. The fries were good, but a little overdone. They weren’t burnt… Just overdone. The only reason I gave this place a 4 out of 5 stars is because of the fries.

I have to say, I was skeptical of Cheeburger Cheeburger because of the horrible service I had received when it was under old management. I was told to give it another try by an employee who came in to my work giving out flyers. I decided to give it another go. The menu was simple. Burgers, wraps, fries, onion rings, and milkshakes are the majority of the choices. If you order a burger, you need to order fries separately. My friend and I each got a classic size cheeseburger and split a medium basket of fries and rings(«Best of Both»). That plus one soda was 22 dollars, which is pretty reasonable. The portions were the perfect size. I was full, but not uncomfortably, and I did not need a doggie bag. The onion rings I had experienced when Cheeburger was under old management were large and soggy. The ones I ate tonight were a nice size as well as crispy and delicious! I ordered my cheeseburger«as rare as you are allowed to cook it,» which for Cheeburger is medium. I would have preferred it a little juicier, but it had a nice amount of pink. It was falling apart a little, but delicious nonetheless. The service was fast and friendly. It was a quick meal; my friend and I were in the restaurant for just under half an hour. The timing was just shy of making me feel rushed. The atmosphere was really cool. Definitely a 50’s thing going on. Some people don’t like that kinda stuff, but I’m picking up what they’re putting down. The only thing unconventional was the lack of silverware and napkins. Instead, each table had a roll of paper towels. Weird and tacky, but tolerable. Overall, I’m glad I gave Cheeburger another shot. I’m sure it won’t be the last time I’m back. Especially with the new frequent buyer card I got: after buying 6 sandwiches, burgers, or wraps, you get one free. I dig it.

Unfortunately, the experience does not satisfy. Service is extremely slow and every time I have eaten there has been inaccurate. I love the concept and the convenience to my home but for a family of 4, this is $ 60+ for burgers and fries that are served cold and too late. 2 stars for the fact they have good milkshakes. Anything else may start good but the process of cooking it turns it into a sub-average meal. For $ 10 more dollars, my family of 4 could have eaten at Outback Steakhouse just down the street.

If your looking for mouth watering burgers, where the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth. This is your place. I love burgers and these burgers. Well let’s say I eat here at least twice a week!

Sad when it closed. Sorry that it re-opened. If your job is to cook a hamburger, only a hamburger, it makes sense to me that you could cook a hamburger. Both my wife and I ordered ours medium. They came out well beyond well done — crispy, in fact. The fries were from an earlier meal time. Food score: 0 stars. Shakes were okay, but not worth suffering through a meal. The tattooed staff clashed with the clientele. Just seemed freaky to so many tattoos at once. I think if owners knew who their customers were, they would institute mandatory long sleeve tees… unless I’m wrong and they are trying to attract greasers from the 50’s. Regardless of their look, the staff was the best thing they have going.

We like to bring the Kid here every once in a while. Its the kind of place where if your 2 year old decides to take off her shoes and make loud«vroom vroom» noises with the paper car her meal comes in, no one really minds. Yes, it can be a mob scene; yes, it is a chain; and yes, the owner has a weird sycophantic vibe. But, Good God, can they make an onion ring. On our visit last Friday, I went with my go-to combo: a large order of onion rings and a grilled chicken salad. DH had a burger,(the Serious), which he proclaimed«Delicious»(a man of few words, that man o’ mine) and a mint Oreo milkshake. The Kid kept stealing sips of the Hub’s shake, wore two of my onion rings like bangles before eating them, and generally ignored her own meal. My salad was just average, the chicken is nicely grilled, but the portion is kind of skimpy. I’d award points for that I can get it with whatever veggie toppings I want, but have to subtract a few as they always forget one or two of the choices. I always find myself wishing I’d eaten an apple in the car and saved more room for onion rings. The rings are phenomenal. Medium cut, fresh sweet onions, thin without being shoestring, freshly fried in a light, ethereal batter. They want for nothing but ketchup; ignore the fancy dipping sauces. Be warned, like Indy and the Holy Grail trying to cross the Seal of the Temple of the Crescent Moon, these rings do not transport well. They begin to break down to mush almost immediately once placed into their paper bag. Delicious mush, but a pale imitation of their former selves. Eat them on-site or do not eat them at all.

Cheeburger is a classic down home location with exceptional service and great value. The staff strives very hard for complete customer satisfaction. Burgers are custom cut per your precise specifications. Start off with a ½ lb and work your way up to higher levels. If you can muster a whole pound, you get a hero’s reception, with your picture hung up on the wall. Perhaps the best thing about the Cheeburger Cheeburger model is not the onion rings or the fries or the shakes, but the gluttony of practically unlimited combinations of free burger toppings! I don’t see how you could go wrong here.
