Snagged a few gluten free cupcakes and two vegan ones. The vegan ones weren’t the best I have ever had, but my gluten-free coworkers said their cupcakes were delicious! Good range of flavors, and the prices weren’t too bad!

The donuts were really tasty without being overly Sugary and we just loved them! The store is clean and quaint and we will be back even though it’s a 30 min drive — it’s worth it!

If you want free smells, this would be the right place! Also, their cinnamon crumb donut gave me life. Wasn’t expecting it to be anything special initially, but I’m happy that I stopped in!

By far the best gluten free desserts I have ever had! Even my family, none of whom are gluten free, love the delicious treats! Whatever you are craving, you are sure to find something wonderful to satisfy it. Definitely go check it out! You won’t be disappointed!

I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from here and the girl who helped me was wonderful. She was very helpful. Now I’m just waiting on my cake so I can update my review! — — — — — Daughter’s birthday cake was delicious. I really had anything gluten-free but this is really great my friends asked me where I got the cake and I told them from the happy mixer they were surprised because they also never had gluten-free things before. I will definitely go back there and try everything! I didn’t get a picture of the cake because we just sang happy birthday and Went for it!

Love love love the peanut butter bars. Everyone is so friendly here and the the goodies are so yummy whether you are gluten free or not. They also have vegan baked goods which is a very rare find. My daughter is vegan and this is where we get her cookies !

Before my bridal shower and wedding day, I never found a gluten-free cake worth eating. The Happy Mixer made two very important events the absolute SWEETEST. For my shower, we had a small chocolate/vanilla cake with vanilla icing, and for our wedding, we had a four-tier red velvet ‘naked’ cake with cream-cheese frosting. The design was impeccable and exceeded my expectations. Our guests LOVED the red velvet cake, which is a high compliment coming from Southern relatives who have high standards for red-velvet. Working with Tim was so simple, and he was always readily available via email or phone. He gave us multiple pricing options and kept in touch throughout the planning process. Our price was quite reasonable for a gluten-free cake & delivery(some bakeries in the Philly area are priced insanely high!). Needless to say, I’m looking forward to devouring our top tier at our one year mark!

The baked goods here are REALLY good. That’s without the“good for gluten free” caveat, they are just REALLY good. I got a chocolate birthday cake, the cake was really moist and delicious. Good frosting too. Lemon pound cake, not too sweet, and the glaze is very lemony. The baguette tasted like a baguette!!! I need to buy some and freeze to keep at home. Only con, it’s expensive.

Great store front, great staff. Better cakes! We ordered a highly detailed cake with the emblem of a British football team at the center. The emblem was finely detailed and obviously made by a steady hand. The cake and the icing drew raves from all! Also, the retail store is filled with a large variety of gluten free goodies!

I have celiacs disease, and was diagnosed at 19 years old. I have been eating gluten free for 13 years and there are times when I sadly miss the delicious sweet treats you get at a bakery. Since becoming gluten free, I have been in search of sweets that taste like«the real thing» if not better than the real thing. The Happy Mixer has NAILEDIT. I have been given their cupcakes as gifts, and I can’t even share them with others because they ARETHATGOOD. I am also addicted to their brownies and oatmeal raisin cookies(which I get at Jules Thin Crust in Doylestown) and I am in love. The cost of their high quality goods is more affordable than anything I have found in a grocery store, or another bakery that is not strictly gluten free. This place offers fresh and beautiful items and you can tell that they really care about the food they are providing, and love what they do. I appreciate this place and hope that everyone, even those without a gluten allergy give this place a chance because this is BETTER than the real thing! Keep up the amazing work!

The most outstanding gf baguette I have ever had. I would give my last $ 8 for this thing. If croissants ever make it onto the menu I’ll probably go bankrupt. The counter staff is always friendly and everything I have tried is delicious. It’s expensive, but a far cry from my years of eating weird, dense, strangely textured bricks that were labeled ‘bread’ before I gave up hope of safely eating something this delicious again. Thank you for making real food!

I’m not someone who’s gluten free, or gluten intolerant. I don’t monitor my gluten consumption(bring it on), but I do monitor my baked good consumption and I had been dangerously low for way too long. I’ve been searching for a delicious local bakery(like, really local. and I could walk here so it’s as local as it gets without being in my own kitchen) which offers tasty treats for quite some time. For months, I watched the progress as construction was under way and I grew impatient with each passing day. waiting for the happy mixer to lead me to a happy tummy. This bakery is a welcome addition to this sometimes glum and boring shopping center and I’m glad to see that they haven’t closed within a year or so as many other businesses have after deciding to move in(I think the shopping center may legitimately be cursed or atop an ancient Lenape burial ground unbeknownst to all of us). The staff in this bakery is always friendly and knowledgeable, without hesitating to acquire additional information if it is requested. As someone who was vegan for over 7 years, it’s fantastic to see a place that cares about what goes into their products, while also caring about their customers. While their pastries and baked goods may be lacking in the gluten department, they do not lack in flavor or texture. Their Kipfels? I could shovel those little bundles of joy into my mouth all day *if I could afford it*, their brownies are moist and flavorful(I’ve had some vegan and gluten free brownies which were more akin to composted cardboard in textire), and their donuts are messy and lip smackingly tasty. I like to get treats here for work or social functions when I want to make sure that all in attendance will be able to ejoy a sweet treat without worrying about the consequences(well, more than the caloric consequences anyway)! As someone who loves desert and sweets more than most anyone else, I definitely think it’s important to spread a little sweetness into everyone’s life, and the Happy Mixer helps me to do that! Check em out, you won’t be disappointed. .and they will usually let you sample different items so you can fall in love and buy one of everything…(maybe that’s just my lack of self control again)

I had never heard of The Happy Mixer until a couple days ago but thankfully Groupon came through. I paid $ 13 for two $ 10 gift certs. I stopped by this morning and found a lovely and tidy small bakery. The cases were full and I wished I had lots of money to spend because gluten free items aren’t cheap! I got a sesame seed baguette($ 7.95) which I toasted and made into cheese toast. The bread was super dense and not my favorite item. I also got a super chocolate brownie($ 3.25) which I haven’t tried yet. The best purchase was three kiffle! They’re little Danish type things with jam. The apricot and raspberry kiffle were wonderful and you’d never know it was gluten free.

Absolutely excellent! Just had a cake done for my fiancée for her 40th and it was well worth the money spent. It seemed that there was nothing spared in making sure the cake was very well done. It was a double layer chocolate and vanilla with cream cheese in the middle and a cream cheese icing and it was absolutely phenomenal. No one could tell it was a gluten free cake. We’ll be back for upcoming birthdays!

My boys are both gf/cf. I went in looking for treats for Halloween. I took home cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies. All were a hit! As my 11 year old said, «the chocolate chip cookies were great but the icing on the cupcakes was my favorite!» He kept trying to take another one! Would have given it all 5 stars but it was a little hard on the wallet. But I will go again.

I swear the clouds parted and little angels started singing the moment I walked into The Happy Mixer GF bakery. Even if you live an hour from Chalfont, get in your car, and drive here. If you have Celiac disease, or a gluten allergy, you will be glad you did. Trust me. I had a cinnamon donut, a beautiful cupcake, and a mini lemon pound cake. I actually bounced up and down in my chair as I chewed… that’s how good it was. There dozens of items to chose from, and a large variety(cookies, cake, pastries, french baguettes, etc)
