I dropped by my favorite store today. It was filled with new treasures. I’ve consigned furniture and bought furniture — recycling at its best — and I find such unique and quality furnishings and accessories. I met the sisters when they first opened the store several years ago and they are knowledgeable and helpful. It’s like visiting family when you enter the store and they are honest and caring people. Check it out — you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve done furniture and lighting from Tahoe to Sarasota — here I found such great prices I can buy from them and repurpose to sell in FL or Nashville — What a selection, and great great prices. Thank you Con Furn Dep

I have been going to the CFD for a couple years now. The folks that run the place are very nice and helpful and the inventory changes often. I tend to go every weekend and walk through and look at all the cool stuff. The inventory changes so often that going every week is important to stay up to date. I have bought a few things from the CFD, most recently a beautiful rug for my master bedroom. The rug was about ¼ the price of a new one and looks brand new. I suggest you give this place a try, it is an enjoyable place to shop with nice quality folks running it.

Consignment Furniture Depot is just top notch. Their inventory changes constantly, so if you see something you love, better get it then! I’ve seen items from movie sets to inventory from showcase designer homes. We had been searching for rather a long time for the just right sofa set. I saw a gorgeous pretty much brand new chocolate leather one and snapped it right up! They have great after hour events too which are always a hoot. I’d highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to save a little money AND furnish their homes with high quality beautiful furniture. The staff is educated and are always friendly and the shop’s owner, Victoria is a doll. Referring to another poster about the brunette, Maria, I have to whole heartedly DISAGREE. She is a sweet heart and seems to love what she does.

So, depending on when you go in here, the selection is hit or miss, although the store is almost always full of items. But, it also depends on what you’re looking for. I went in two different times looking for a coffee table(never found exactly what I wanted), but found many FABULOUS artwork/photography pieces, all professionally framed and ready to hang for next to nothing. Seriously, a print with a tag from a Miami Circle retailer still on the back for $ 10 that was originally $ 239, just because the glass was broken out! If you’re looking for art/wall hangings/photograpy/items to scrap with really nice, expensive custom frames, this is the ONLY place to shop. The furniture is very nice here, and all in above average condition for a used store. Imagine Mrs. Gottrocks decides to redecorate her Buckhead villa, and has no place to sell off her 5 year old, rarely used, $ 10,000 dining room set. This is where it ends up. They also have a wish list, and will look for items of a specific type for you and call you if they become available. They also have some smaller, vintage jewelry selections, and full sets of fine china and stemware in house. Now that I «frequent» this place, the gals at the desk are really sweet, and remember me. If you’re looking for a $ 5 couch with a few stains, this isn’t the place. But, if you want something quality for pennies on the dollar of original retail, here’s where you go!

I sometimes get the wrong vibe from Marie, and don’t care. I won’t let a business owner’s bad day affect me in any way. She may have a sick relative, or need to adjust her meds. The selection of traditional type furniture is amazing. I spend several thousand dollars a year here, because my four houses I rent short term demand a continuing supply of attractive goods. I get great deals by waiting out for the periodic markdowns. Sometimes I see something so beautiful and unique I have to have it NOW. They get furniture used by the ever increasing film crews that shoot in Atlanta. I got a Crate and Barrel lingerie chest for $ 200 that was on their website for $ 999. That was used on a set. See for yourself and just GET There!

I would sometimes kill for a husband that could honestly care less about the furniture for our house… but then I am super thankful that he cares so much because if he didn’t I never would have found this place. God love the man he wants every piece of furniture we buy to have a story and a soul. Enter Consignment Furniture Depot. Almost all of the pieces are consignment which means it has been lived on and already have a «soul» if you will. Raced over to this place after work because according to my husband I had to see this place(and he found a table for us) and boy oh boy did he find a table for us. It is an absolutely stunning table! It also came with 6 amazing chairs and the second I saw it I had to have it for my house. It was on the pricey side of what we were planning on spending but for $ 2000(with all the taxes and what nots) we made out like bandits. The table by itself would have cost us over $ 2,800 and the chairs(which were custom made) would have been $ 350 a piece. You do the math that is a lot more than the $ 2000 we spent. Oh yeah the table is a Restoration Hardware table. What I liked most though was that Victoria(one of the owners) was super helpful and held a few items for us so we could sleep on them.(It is a good thing she did because I ended up not getting a desk from there that I liked but just wasn’t the right fit). In all honestly I would definitely check this place out(they even have a wish list). The prices are unbelievable and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Overall, I like their selection, which by nature, varies. You never know what you will find there, and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint is with the dark haired sister, Maria(I think is her name) who has been uppity on two separate occassions. On one instance, she practically ran into me and didn’t say excuse me, welcome, or anything. She doesn’t really give off a vibe of «Welcome, spend money here». One of the other owners was nice as she could be, as was a gentleman who helped me load a piece. So, I am torn. I go back here INSPITE of Maria.
